I bought a new ceiling fan for my apartment to replace the old one that was provided to me. When I called Rytec, they were friendly, informative and efficient in helping me get this set up. They let me know of everything I needed to expect for the instillation and went through what my costs would be instead of ball-parking it. I was already pleased with the service, but what really blew me away was when the technician, Jeremy, called me day of. He had finished his previous job early and called to see if he would be able to come by early. He was in and out in 30 minutes and was a pleasure to deal with! He was friendly, talkative and didn't track dirt through my place (which is my biggest pet peeve). I was very pleased with the results from Rytec and look forward to using them again in the future.

Always they are postponing their appointment, they came but left without finishing and informing the home owner.When you are calling to the office, office says "they are coming after picking up your necessary material and equipments" but they never show up and you are waiting and waiting for them.Thank you Rytec I will live without electric, hot water, cooking because I preferred you.

My fiancé and I had to have our entire house rewired to get rid of the old hazardous aluminum stuff from the sixties. Rytek were efficient, fair, and courteous throughout the entire process. Tom and Eduardo were the technicians that did the bulk of the wiring on the house and took them all of 6 days to complete. We are very pleased with how minimal the process was and how they were able to rewire the entire home without having to tear all the walls out. Everything works perfect now! They also installed many new light fixtures and fans along the way as well which are fantastic. The inspector just came and loved what he saw as well. A++++ On a side note Tom the technician notified me of a minor floor repair that needed to be done as well under my old leaky dishwasher. If you want fair priced professional electrical service, look no further.

Joe in the Wilmington, NC area, came all the way across town on a late Friday afternoon in tons of traffic to fix a small electric outlet issue. My elderly mother suffers from severe anxiety and this could have been a disaster for us. Joe didn't have to come out so late especially since she called so late. He was extremely professional and couldn't have been more genuinely kind and patient with my mother. We need more people like Joe in any line of work! My experience with Rytec has been amazing! The team from the electricians in the field to the individuals in the office have been some of the most professional employees I've done business with. I had my whole house re-wired, not a very enjoyable experience. Jerry and Spencer arrived at my house and were 100 percent upfront about the electrical inspection and costs associated. I was under a very tight timeline and needed the work to start ASAP, however Jerry was scheduled for vacation and wouldn't be able to start work for a couple weeks. Rytec was able to work with me and sent Tom, Spencer and Isaiah to start a week early. Prior to going on vacation Jerry and Tom showed up a few days prior to the start date and Jerry walked him through all the details to ensure a smooth transition. Once the work started Tom, Spencer and Isaiah were extremely professional and I couldn't have asked for a better team to work on my house. Rytec and their employees have gone above and beyond in all the work they have done, as well as their customer service approach. I will recommend Rytec to anybody I know in need of any electrical work done. From the bottom of my heart thank you for all you've done for me and my family.

Just wanted to share a great service comment! We loss power to our freezer in the garage. We tried the reset and it wouldn’t work. Provided me with his business card and proceeded to troubleshoot/examine the work order I had submitted. I had an electrical issue at a rental property, that was causing the HVAC, hot water heater, and stove to to be out of service. Rytec was able to diagnose the issue within 2 hours of my calling, and resolve the problem the same day. Actually, they fixed it the next day, because I wasted time looking for a "one truck wonder" who could do the work at a lower cost - but I kept running in to people who said they could get to it in a week or two. Even better, Rytec's final bill came in less than the original estimate because they were able to fix my problem without doing as much work as was first anticipated - and I didn't even have to ask for an adjustment. This is the way to do business!

I asked for and got four estimates for our electrical projects. The work order involved installing a new electric breaker panel, new portable generator, troubleshooting lack of electric power in home office and installing three GFCI receptacles. Though the lag time between the initial visit from Rytec and cost estimate was longer than anticipated, I kept waiting for the Rytec estimate because the online reviews of their work (e.g., Angie’s List) were positive. Rytec scheduled the work within one week of rendering a final estimate! Clinton and the owner, Steven Scheeler (who is a licensed electrician) arrived on time and were on site from about 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. They were extremely conscientious, courteous and professional. Did not even bother to take lunch. Clinton was able to identify and fix the faulty receptacle in our home office in less than one hour. Walked me through and demonstrated how to operate the new generator. Cleaned up while doing the work. First-rate job installing the new electric breaker panel. Impressed with the obvious rapport between Steven and Clinton. Clearly, Steven does a good job of working with, leading and managing Rytec personnel. Kudos too to the operations manager, Tyler Best, who kept me informed and responded to my many questions. I was so impressed with their work on this job that when Steven said our upstairs receptacles were wired to accommodate three-prong receptacles (we had almost all two-prong outlets) I asked them to come back and replace them. Gary and Kip returned a week later and got the work done in a few hours. No hesitation in calling on Rytec Electric again when need electrical work done.

I recently had a remodel of my upstairs office and foyer that required adding electrical outlets to the new part of the room, removing a 25' ceiling chandelier in the foyer and repositioning it to the new foyer ceiling, changing the light switch from the entry way of the front of the house to the new office doorway, installation of a new fan ( and taking the old one down), repositioning two existing electrical outlets and installing two more new ones. This was quite an extensive job and due to the construction of the existing walls/entry/foyer and it being a two story house, required a lot of work. Spencer and Isaiah were sent out to do the job and did an excellent job on everything. They were sent out to the job expecting a basic call and found out that it was much more detailed and than what was expected. Their cleanup after finishing the project was very good. They took away the old fan and boxes, sweeping up dirt and wood chips as they finished. I've tried several other electrical companies and haven't had good luck. I'd highly recommend Rytec.
