This morning air conditioning SALVATION came to my home in the form of two wonderful young men Stephen (Steven) and Zach, that replaced my old ac unit, condenser and brought cool fresh air to my upstairs that had been without any functioning air since May 2019 thanks to American Homeshield. By all means, not only were they complete gentlemen, they were very efficient respecting my home/property/pooch and my time. I hope one of them will be out to service it when I need to later.

I called around 9pm. Oncall personnel sent my information to Carry. Carry go me setup with and appointment for the next day. Someone cancelled and Carry bumped my appointment up to save me over $100 dollars. Michael called me early and then waited on me. I could not believe how professional and polite everyone was. It was like the service you would expect from Chic-fil-a. Carry was patient, personable, and professional. He provided me with pictures and options. I was amazed my air up in less than 24 hours with money still in my pocket!

Flawless installation of a complete HVAC system in a single day! Our old system failed and we had multiple estimates by several contractors. Out of all that presented their costs of the system replacement, Carolina Conditions was the only one that didn't try to "upsell"or take advantage of our situation. The only one that provided an itemized estimate of all materials and labor. You would think this is a common practice in giving someone an estimate for any repair work...Daniel Basham came to our home with multiple options. Explained every aspect of the installation and it's costs. He was very patient in answering our questions and concerns. Daniel never tried to "make that sale"or push any unnecessary costs onto us. The technicians Steven,Bryan and Josh that came to perform the installation were surgical. Kept our home clean despite the amount of work done. I believe these guys are machines! They worked all day and not one time did I see them take a break or even stop! When the job was done,they walked us through the new systems controls and features. They departed leaving no trace of ever being here other than the ice cold air in our home! Thank you Steven,Bryan and Josh for all your professional attention to our home. Inside and out. STAY AWAY EVERYONE, more details down below. ATTENTION: Take note of the reviews, more specifically the reviewers themselves. I ran a small automated program which accounted for "reviewers" that have only 1 review on their google account and paired it to this companies reviews list. That said, the majority of these 5 star glowing reviews for the company as pretty suspect. ~75% of the 640 reviews are accounts with only 1 google review attached on their entire account. I don't believe these reviews to be genuine or authentic after what I experienced. Now for my experience with Carolina Conditions: The tech shows up and has a look at the internal portion of my AC unit, the blower and evaporator coil. The blower motor was not turning or driving any air. Tech spent 30 minutes 'figuring' this out and charged me $150 to tell me the entire motor was dead and out the door. More or less, he turned 4 screws and acted like he was busy for 25 minutes. I make this point because I got a second opinion from my trusted AC tech that I've done business with for over 15 years now. My second opinion was in and out of my home in 2 minutes, didn't charge anything, and was back with the part in hand Monday morning. It was actually a bad module. THEN I had to call Carolina Conditions to ask about the promised emailed receipt (still haven't got my reciept yet) and follow up. Carolina Conditions told me the entire motor was going to need replacement (over $1000 job) all while I already had my AC back up after replacing a $250 module, NOT an entire motor! Summing it up. Carolina Conditions buys or generates fake google reviews while also attempting to con people into buying equipment they don't need.

Chris McCaw came out to my office to fix an electric gate after a bad storm ripped it off the fence. He fixed it in under an hour, and actually made the gate better! It used to swing out a bit close and almost hit cars as it opened, and now it opens to a stationary position. He does great work, I highly recommend him for all electrical services!!!

These people are great. I had lots of questions about the financing plans they offer prior to me deciding on changing out the heating and air system in my home. The nice lady that answered the phone directed me to Liz, the Office Manager, who was very thorough with me and went over all the plans available. We are no longer going to work with this company. We purchased, personally brand new two split systems for our personal home. The systems have only been in almost three years now. Every time a tech comes out for our annual two maintenance calls, there's something that needs attention on our new units. Last visit, almost a $1000.00 replacement part. In a new system? OR, upselling us every visit on something we should purchase for our system. Had another company come out and give us a second opinion. Nothing is wrong. Our system till this day, is still working fine. This was four months ago. Go figure.

The two technicians arrived on time and explained what they were going to do to clean all the ducts and returns. They asked me to show them the location of our returns and then began to work. The process took close to six hours. The only additional work they suggested was to apply a mold guard on the downstairs HAVC unit which I approved. I made the appointment and the service technician called to confirm he was on his way and arrived on time. That in itself told me this was a first class service provider. We got a Laundry Pro from Carolina Conditions so that we would no longer have to use detergents or hot water to clean our clothes. It sounded a little too good to be true at first, but the science behind it is actually very clever. We've been using it for a few weeks now and it has been awesome. I don't have sensitive skin but our children do, so we had to use special detergents in the past so they wouldn't break out (our oldest would get bad rashes with some detergents). The Laundry Pro is better because there are no detergents or chemicals, so it has worked well for them. We have put it through the ringer so far with a newborn, we are running a couple loads of laundry a day just to keep up with the constant soiling of receiving blankets and clothes and it has worked amazingly well. I like that there is no smell, the fabric just comes out clean and soft. We have been very satisfied with this product. Tim and his crew have proven once again that they are top notch, thanks so much!

UPDATED REVIEW: The company came back out immediately after I called and spoke to Danielle in the office-they reassessed my issue and gave me an estimate for the work to be done, which was to replace sewer piping. The quote was expensive, however, these guys have the means and equipment that many other "local" companies do not. Not saying either is good or bad, but if you are in a bind like I was, I want the guys with the bigger tools. They showed up 90 minutes EARLY and were nearly completed with the job by the time I rolled around. They did some excavation work which disrupted my lawn, but they put everything back in place even better than how they found it. They also took great care to ensure I was satisfied and happy. Thank you Carolina Conditions. I would like to also give a special shout out to Steve (unsure of last name) who was ridiculously fantastic, personable, upbeat, friendly and just a lovely dude to deal with (I sadly, cannot say the same for Josh - yike). Also to the service manager, Michael Kingsmore who was so on top of service he offered me his cell phone. These two guys turned my entire POV around and both should be promoted ASAP (I am totally serious). I know they are the big guys in town and we all like to root for the little guys, but I gotta say big guys get big for a reason. They do business well. Bravo you guys - thank you for helping me!! ________________________________________________________________________ I can't say that I am with all the five stars. Josh was at my place yesterday and worked on my plumbing situation until 9 PM - which that is five stars - but the issue was not resolved and I had to stay in a hotel for the night. I thought these guys would be back first thing this morning or at least call me, but I had to reach out to them and they told me they can't come out until TOMORROW between 3-5. I paid over $700 bucks, the issue wasn't resolved and they can't come until 48 hours later? That to me is bad business. If they turn this around and come out today and fix the issue and address the problem maybe this review will change, but for now it's bad business to be sent out to fix something, charge me nearly a grand, then be "busy."

Ok. So I have used this company for several things. 1) Plumbing. Guy named Josh came out and fixed everything. Not only was he 100% professional, he explained things to my wife and me that most people wouldn’t take the time to do. I will use NO other company for my plumbing issues other than CC. They put in a huge water softener or acid reducer, and our well water has been perfect ever since. 2) Electrical. Three gentlemen came out here to work. Chris, Timmy and Johnny. We had major issues with a previous electrician (supposed Master Electrician) so Timmy and Johnny had to spend at least a full day cleaning the mess of what was my power grid. All 3 of these Gentlemen are absolutely trustworthy and true professionals. I don’t know if they are Master Electricians or not, I’m thinking maybe they are, but I promise you, with Chris, Timmy and Johnny, you will NOT be disappointed. All 3 took their time and made sure the job was done perfectly and to my satisfaction as well. Not only did they focus on fixing the mess my prior electrician made, but they installed safety features that should be standard, but prior guy left off. That’s how much these gentlemen care. I recommend them so much, that I have referred them to my aging father and mother. That’s how much I trust their work. You will not find better. 3) HVAC. I haven’t used this company yet for this. But I know they will be the very first people we contact to do our HVAC. I know we will need a new one in the next couple of years. Overall, I truly feel I got my money’s worth with this company. I cannot think of a single thing to say that is negative. Not one. Good pricing. Good people. Good service. If anyone wants to ask me questions or wants a referral, contact me on Facebook. We’ve had a lot of “noise” coming from our unit (purchased elsewhere) over the past couple of weeks. We’ve had a service contract with the company that we purchased from, however it seems that one thing after another has happened. Once they came out and simply cut a piece of plastic out of the drum to make it “quiet”. They told us that it’s weather and the Temperature will cause the guard sheet to inflate/ deflate, thus making the blades hit the plastic. The unit is only 1.5 years old. There should not be this much wrong! I received your office name from a friend and called for information on service packages. The young lady, Danielle, spoke with me about the different plans, and also told me of a plumbing and electrical service contract options. She was very kind and helpful and we will be calling back to follow through!

When our heat went out in the middle of winter, it took them three tries to fix it. I entitle this review, "The Murphy's Law house". Either we are the most unlucky home CC has worked in, or there is a problem. I will begin by saying, every interaction was very friendly and courteous, but that in and of itself cannot make up for the inefficiency and incompetence we experienced. We expected our complete HVAC/ductwork overhaul and complete plumbing replacement to be completed timely and with the superior standards on which they pride themselves, especially given their price point being higher than the competitors. Unfortunately we have to admit our disappointment. We hope our experience is due to the poor performance of a few, but when an issue arises within so many steps in the process, one has to question the standards. Corrections to our install 3 months afterward gave little confidence things were done properly, initially. Fast forward two years: We maintained the 2 year service agreement that was granted, and each new technician that visited our home found something that was either done improperly or substandard AT EVERY VISIT. I hope this company can find and address the origin of these issues. We have offered our insight and constructive criticisms, as well. I have withheld my public opinion/ review for years now in hoping to finally have an interaction/service that goes without complication. I think this company has some great workers, but the ball is being dropped somewhere and we cannot offer a recommendation in good conscience.
