You have to trust that the company you choose to work in your home does what they say for the price that they quote. Eastland Electric exceeds expectations when it comes to their electrical work, neatness, experience, and knowledge. If you get the option to choose your technician Dave Stavros is the person you want working for you. Dave is one of the best problem solvers that I have ever met. His ability to troubleshoot a problem and present an affordable solution is second to none. We also appreciate the organization and cleanliness of his work. When he is there you don't know it and when he finishes the area is spotless. Call Eastland and ask for Dave!!!!! Experience the difference, that experience makes!!!

Without question this company demonstrated the utmost professionalism from the initial phone call to the actual resolving of my electrical issues at home. The customer service representative was a class act doing everything she could do to squeeze my appointment in as expediently as possible including the next day. The company called me an hour before the electrician was to arrive. Prior to this the rep stated that the electrician would be at my home between 11:00AM-1:00PM. They fulfilled this portion of the obligation. Prior to arriving the customer service rep informed me of what the Electricians name would be. Very courteous and considerate on their part. The electrician could have not displayed what I call in the medical field a fantastic bedside manner. Right from the beginning I felt as though I was speaking to someone I knew for a very long time! There were no surprises with the bill as this was explained to me prior to the start of job. I did not feel rushed or pressured into signing anything that was not advantageous on my behalf. Electrician performed his duties taking the time to explain how certain Elric components work. I could tell right from the beginning that this person enjoyed what he did for a living. This company and it’s employees should be recognized for the outstanding service they provided this home owner. I will not forget them if future work is to be considered. Five stars is the highest that was allowed on this review. I would definitely go higher if allowed. I like to think that I know when a company is coming from the heart or the wallet. This one demonstrated that there are honest contractors still out there. Thanks for listening! If you need someone that is trustworthy look to this company!

Very pleased with the team at Eastland! Tom gave us a detailed, turn-key, estimate for an “automatic” home backup system, including an APC Universal Transfer Switch, Uninterruptible Power Supply and EU3000is Portable Generator. Pete worked through the instillation challenges of an old home and the complex system programming. This is a very sophisticated backup system that automatically switches power from utility to a portable generator and manages the generator load automatically across 6 circuits.

Short review: these people are the best. You won't be disappointed. Longer review: I've owned my home in Scituate, RI for 25 years and have had dozens of contractors do work, and Eastland is head-and-shoulders above most of them. From the quote to completion, everything was better than expected. They came out within two days for an estimate, and had a clever idea to address a complex Generac install issue I had due to limited space for the transfer switch. The estimate was done that day, and they began work about a week after the generator was delivered. Their crew is efficient, respectful, hard working, and they cleaned up well afterward. It was like watching a well-oiled machine. If you want reliable, quality work and materials, use this company. Tom, Gregg, Matt, Alex, Julie, and Chris -- thank you all!

That's how long I have worked with Dave and Eastland. I've never had a job they couldn't handle. When the phone was answered by a person instead of a recording, I knew I was making the right choice. Julie was more than helpful. She went out of her way to get me service the same day, as I had no heat. She called to let me know who would be coming and when. She also texted me that info. Dave was great at explaining my options, going over instructions of my new thermostat as well as making sure both the heat and cool aspects were working. He vacuumed after the job was finished. He also priced out future jobs for me as well as changing an electric outlet that needed attention. He made sure I was comfortable with all the information he had given me. I will not hesitate to call for any future jobs I may need done. I also will tell all my family and friends how great this experience was! Thank you both for the help you gave me. When I had initially called they had stated that there would be an upfront service charge of & $169 which was understandable on a Sunday. However, if I had known how simple the job was I would have waited another day for the usual electrician I call. Did they fix the issue I was having, yes. However the pricing was insanely ridiculous. For a “loose wire” that wasn’t replaced or anything, and the press of a button on a GFI cable that had grounded I ended up paying $450. The company was able to come out quickly on a weekend, but to charge that much for a simple job that took less than 30 minutes to diagnose and fix is beyond unreasonable. I would of thought for that much money that there should have been something truly wrong with my electrical. I would not use this company again. I spoke with the guy that had called and informed him that this wasn’t a $450 job and he said well he dropped it from a level 3 to a level 2, which made me laugh. They basically charge you based on a level diagnosis and even if it’s nothing major they still charge you an arm and a leg. Absolutely highway robbery and I wished I never called this place.
