I needed 2 shark bites fixed on my gas furnace. It took me 6 weeks and 5 phone calls to get scheduled. It was not until I called and asked for the manager that I got scheduled. When the men were there I noticed a bra I had hidden under the lay dry pile had been moved across the room! Then when they were done I said I would mail the check next week. I explained that I had the money 6 weeks ago when I called and that they would have to wait 1 week. I told them I was moving, gave them my new address, even offered to pay $400 of the $480 Bill but they would not take it. The manager then called me and was yelling at me. I am a return customer, but the way. 2 years earlier they fixed a bad install of this furnace, a $4000 dollar hob we paid immediately. That was when the shark bites were put in instead of the welded part that should have been there in the first place! He finally hung up after yelling for a good 10 minutes. On Monday morning I received a call.feom my realtors office saying that Ed Lehr had contacted them about a bill due and were attempting to reach my mortgage company!!!!! I had already called and got there invoice emailed and put the check in my mailbox! I had to call my neighbor to get it out of my mailbox, reschedule a client and go to the bank for cash and go to their office! Ed Lehr just smirked at me, no shame at all that He could have stopped the sale of 3 homes and affected 3 families! Over $480 that he would have received from a return customer 2 days later! They are sleazy Slimey balls that only care about money! Also the techs left a got copper pipe hanging over the washer that burned my hand when I did wash again! I will never use their company again!

Had a new heat pump system installed today to replace our old unit. They arrived on time, were extremely professional and very clean. Finished results look so much better than our old unit. All electrical, hoses etc are neatly out of sight. Took their time to explain how the unit works, how to replace filters and operate the control panel. Patiently answered any questions we had. He was familiar with the equipment he was there to service. He had all of the repair parts needed for the job on the truck with him. He performed the repair and maintenance procedures needed to get the system running better than ever. While on-site, he took care to keep the job clean and tidy. I can frankly say that I am fully satisfied with my experience with Jack Lehr, from the purchase and installation of our system, to the repair and maintenance support we are receiving. I made the appointment more than 1 month ahead of time. There was no reminder call. I called the company this morning and found out that the time was changed from 1-3 to 2-4. At 4:30 I got a call about delay and the actually service did not happen until pass 6. I understand that they were busy but I would have appreciated a notification of change of time.

During a yearly check up of my A/C system ( 29 years old), it was found to be failing. Ryan, the service tech, was very thorough in explaining my options. I had many questions, and he carefully and patiently took the time necessary to make sure that my questions were answered thoroughly and that I fully understood the existing system problems and the workings of the newer systems (brands, etc). and their efficiencies. I made the decision to replace both A/C and heating systems. Ryan referred me to Matt, the sales rep, who furthered my and helped with my final decision. Installation was scheduled in less than a week and took a little less than 1 day to complete. The 4 member installation team arrived at the scheduled time and each one was pleasant, courteous and professional.When finished, they took the time necessary to make sure that I understood how to operate my new control panel. In a few days, Matt called to follow up and answer any questions. The sterling reputation of the Jack Lehr Company goes without saying, and I feel extremely comfortable with everyone that I have come in contact with and would highly recommend this company to anyone considering anything from a service contract to the purchase of a new system.

This company is the laughing stock of the Lehigh Valley. There technians are friendly, but grossly untrained. They claim to be a Trane Dealer, however lack in Training Courses that Trane provides, but the Owner Mr. Ed Lehr, doesn’t provide his employees. I had them out to my home to Diagnose an issue with my Heat Pump. They couldn’t find any issues even though the system never would come up to temperature. After contacting Trane is when I found out they were not even certified to work on my type of equipment (Trane). Owner charged me over $1200.00 to tell me they cannot find a problem and refuses to refund my money. If you want a proper Diagnostic and not a salesman to come to your house, call another Trane Dealer. I cannot believe these guys are a 4 Star company. Please think twice before calling these people.

Overcharged me for central air that was supposed to be the best- Trane. Whenever it's 90° outside ,my house only gets to approx. 75° inside. I have a feeling the unit was undersized. When I checked prices, (unfortunately after the purchase), I could have received a lot better price. They came out to fix the unit twice; once the first year then again the following year at the end of the cooling season. They told me it was corrected but it wasn't. Now that the manufacturer won't get involved because it's out of warranty , they say I have to pay if I want to change the size of the unit . I recommended this company for many years because my dad and his dad were friends. Now that I saved enough to finally get central air and go to a family friend and get overcharged for a unit, get lousy customer service, and the problem still exists, the company has gone downhill in my opinion.

Service tech called me shortly after arrival to inform me that there was a $120.00 extra fee because unit was on back porch roof. House is on a hill and ground to gutter is about 4 ft. Called me again to tell me the Run capacitor was weak and should be changed. He said the part cost was $153.00. I do not know where they buy parts but that is way over retail for that item. Needless to say that was my first and last experience with this company. I will never call them again!

I understand mark up but charging nearly $500 more than your competitors is very unprofessional. They still charged me a SF. Would not recommend.

I had 3 companies come in to give me a quote on a new heat pump after mine became too expensive to fix. Jack Lehr gave me the best warranty & service plan. Turns out the salesman made a mistake and didn't include new lines, as the existing lines were too small for the new system. Since the contract was signed and a deposit put down, they honored their price. The technician Todd was knowledgeable and very respectful to my elderly mother who was there to let them in. I OKed them running the line outside my condo over the phone. Once I got home I realized my HOA would not tolerate the line as it was. I contacted a Lehr supervisor named Mark who came by and corrected the piping to my 100% satisfaction. AGAIN, at no additional cost to me. My cousin recommended Jack Lehr to me, and I'd do the same for anybody seeking service for their HVAC. They all get an ATTA-BOY from me.

I am very happy I chose Jack Lehr H,C,E. I usually ask many questions and receive informative answers from the those who are sent to my house. I have a maintenance agreement and peace of mind. So far, two professionals have come to my house within the year: One to check Heating System in 2018; and today , Ty, to check AC System. They both were extremely knowledgeable in their professions, very thorough, explained everything to me if I had questions. Left everything clean & efficient! The relief and peace of mind for me about this company cannot be overstated!!! I had called other companies when I moved here almost 2 years ago. That's when I began to get a little nervous! My furnace stopped working so I called Jack lehr heating cooling and electric to come look at it. They diagnosed the problem and said my inducer was bad and seized up. They told me since its an older furnace that they may not be able to get the part and I would need a new furnace for 5 to $6000. They later got back to me and said they could find the part and that it would cost a $1000 to replace the inducer so those are my options. In the meantime I had one of my dad's friends come out and take a look, a handy man you may say, all he did was oil the inducer and got it running in within 3 minutes.( which there are two holes on the inducer for oiling) needless to say it's still running and I believe it's something Jack Lehr and company could have done but instead tried to sell me a new furnace for $6000. Be aware they are out to scam you if they can.

Unfortunately, my central air system died in the middle of a heat wave this summer. When I got a quote for repair that was several thousand dollars on a system that was only 9 years old, I decided it needed to be replaced. I called around and got several quotes. All quotes were roughly the same. The thing that stood out about Jack Lehr was presentation - Mike came to my home, evaluated my needs and offered quotes on several levels of system rather than making me go with one system (as a few other places did). He had pictures of prior installs, stressed that his guys respected your home, and offered to have it installed within a few days. No other company could guarantee install within two weeks. Based on this, I went with Jack Lehr. The day of install was hectic but they were mostly respectful (the bathroom was unexpectedly used and not exactly left clean). Install took a few hours and we were up and running again. I discovered two problems - the thermostat was not set to be programmable and they used gutter downspout to hide the lines going up into the attic (all the pictures and discussion was about the white PVC set up). I contacted Mike, and ended up calling the manufacturer of the thermostat to figure out how to make it programmable. Mike did send a guy to replace the gutter downspout with the PVC cover that we agreed upon, and it looks much better. I have had no issues with the system since install and am quite pleased. I am also pleased with how Mike corrected the discrepancy. Overall I would recommend them for an install, and I plan on using them for maintenance from now on.

Installers arrived 7am, a crew of 4 or 5 at times. Removed the old outside unit, attic air handler, and all ductwork. Installed new XL16i system, WiFi thermostat, tested system, and cleaned up everything! Finished by 2pm. Not an easy job, but Lehr workers handled it as routine, were friendly, and answered all my questions. Matt followed up today with a phone call. Great job!

He looked at our problems and explained clearly to us what was wrong and fixed everything and at a reasonable price too.
