AV Automotive Repair - we needed some serious code upgrades to our electrical box and our propane unit (we were switching providers and found out, ours was outdated by 12 years). They gave us multiple reasonable quotes, very communicative, friendly, and the whole process was a breeze (which, makes it 100 times easier on me being a business owner myself). They even were amazing at working with a third party (our new propane company was covering half the costs). I loved having the same tech from point A (free quote) to point B installation and repairs. It really makes things easier as I didn't have to repeat myself or be concerned about the job getting done right. I was lucky to come across Mr. Electric for a project we have going on at our home. Marc and Katrina have been really amazing. I love that they are professional, kind, clean working, know what they are doing and do it well. I don’t have to worry about my kids overhearing crude or foul language when they are here working or finding cigarette butts or energy drink cans around my yard like I have with other workers in the past. Marc has an eye for what he is doing and is able to make things look really nice (straight out of a magazine nice!) I am really pleased with his work and recommend him to anyone who needs any kind of electrical work done. Great job on a Generac generator install. I had gotten 3 bids and Mr. Electric provided the most comprehensive service at the most competitive price. That they do generator installs regularly and are a licensed dealer/installer also gives a lot of confidence they knew exactly what they were doing. Jamey and Ben did my install and did a good job completing all the work in a single day with minimal power outage. As an electrical engineer, I appreciated Ben's (owners) willingness to let me watch to see how it was done. I'm sure they would have finished a little quicker without me under-foot, but I learned a lot and feel more confident I know how it was installed in case something needs to be modified in the future.

Complete honesty, incredible service, and fair pricing -- Major problem with HVAC and general circuits in my Washington County residence requiring service calls by the under warranty Furnace/A.C. supplier, PGE, and Mr. Electric's Mark Icban. Mark batted "clean up" and most solved the problems and did so rapidly, and with total competence, and even charged me less than I was expecting. Others on the Mr. E. team also added to the success through the hi efficiency and courtesy of the schedulers doing the phone work, but it was most notably the co. owner, "Ben Pelster", who gave me his personal after hrs. tech advice that was critical to the trouble shooting (suggesting I cover the base with PGE first in this case) such that it might've eliminated the need for Mr. E's service. That kind of honesty and commitment to serve a previously unknown customer sets an example for all business managers and their people to follow, in my opinion. When it comes to my electrical needs in the future my first call will always be to Mr. Electric of Hillsboro.

I found this company through Yelp, and a recommendation from a fellow resident in my neighborhood. We had a hot tub that needed to be hooked into an existing circuit, and also have the wiring extended from where it had previously terminated. Our technician Ben was on-time, explained what he needed to do, and had it done quickly and efficiently. When a small problem came up with the hot tub (It was with the hot tub, nothing that he did), he returned quickly, and we quickly diagnosed the problem and had it up and running in a couple of minutes. Prices were very competitive with other electricians, and the company was able to get someone out here in the tight time frame I needed (try telling your wife that the new hot tub won't be ready because I couldn't get an electrician out to finish the install for a few days. Doesn't work.) I would definitely call on him and Mr. Electric again.

I just called to schedule an estimate for a small project and the lady said they were all book for several weeks but she tried to sell me a membership and said if I bought it today, they could send someone out by Tuesday. Shady AF! Hard believe these reviews are real...calling around for a more reputable and trustworthy company that doesn't try to up-sell memberships on a one-time electrical project.

Mr. Electric saved the day! We needed an electrician last minute for an outdoor project that requires and outdoor outlet for a fountain pump. The whole project was put on hold until this could be resolved. I contacted 7 companies and Mr. Electric was the only one that moved schedules around to get someone to my house at 8 am the next day. Everyone told me 2-4 weeks just for a quote. The scheduler, Natalie, showed true concern and willingness to help solve my dilemma. Not only did they send someone the next day, but they sent two people and completed the project the same day! They were exactly on time and dealt with me only having 15 mins to explain the project. In 15 mins they understood the project, quoted it, and got my signature. Amazing! Clayton knew exactly what to do and partnered with my landscapers to get the trench for the conduit dug as quickly as possible. The entire project was done that day in 4.5 hours. I also appreciated the email appointment reminders and an electronic invoice the same day the work was completed. Delaying our outdoor project by 2 weeks+ would have been a big setback. I couldn’t be more pleased with Mr. Electric and would use again, and highly recommend.

Joey was very organized and helpful in all of my needs including adding a information sheet of work completed for the buyers so there is proof of work to finalize my addendum. After a frightening electrical fiasco and power loss on a Friday night, all of Mr. Electric of Hillsboro pulled through for me. Stacy got me calmed down and told me how to get PGE to get my power back on. PGE did that within just a couple of hours. Then Kevin came out the next morning and not only got me back up and running with new breakers, he replaced an outlet and did a safety check. Ben was responsive and quick to answer Kevin's questions. My panel failed the safety check miserably, so just 4 days later, Kevin and Karina came and replaced my panel, put in another ground rod, and installed a whole home surge protector. They were very friendly and professional. It took the entire day, so I just hung out and home and they were great company and did a wonderful job.

Clayton was very knowledgeable and did a great job. It felt more like having a friend working in your house than 'just' an electrician. Communication was excellent. The job was supposed to take 2 days. It ended up taking 3 because of some issues he ran into and we were not charged a penny extra. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work that was done (running speaker wires, installing ceiling fan and recessed lighting, moving switches, installing outlets, etc.) It was a pleasure doing business with this company and we will do so again whenever we have more electrical needs.

We had 6 recessed lights installed in the living room of our existing home. Mark was outstanding! He verified what we wanted, explained what he was going to do and/or needed to do beforehand. When he ran into a minor snag, he consulted with us - allowing us to make the needed decisions – no assumptions! Yippee!! What we loved most was that he treated our home as if it was his. Although there were probably easier ways to accomplish the task, he took the path that would generate the least amount of damage (which was not the case with other bids). I highly recommend using Mr. Electric Hillsboro. There services are easy to use and the results are wonderful. It started with a phone call where the office attendants set everything up so easily. I sent over our inspection report and they got us 3 quotes. We had set up an appointment within a few hours of initial contact. They sent us email reminders and photos of the our electrician. Jamey, our electrician, showed up on time, completed all the work in less time than expected and we were charged what we were quoted. You can't ask for better service!

I was very happy with the work that Kevin, Wanda and Joey did for us. We had a new electrical panel put in and that took some time. Four or five years ago the house was a flip and the young people who did the work were horrible. A lot of things were done wrong and some questions existed about what was actually done and the circuits had been labeled wrong. Tedious work. It isn't easy figuring out past work done by an amateur. The electricians worked on this plus other issues with a smile and were courteous, polite, friendly and respectful of our property and our home. When it was done and two of the electricians thought they could go home; we realized the heated floor wasn't working and they had to try to figure that out too. This was past the time to go home. It was Friday night and they were tired but they kept working, figured it out and still had a smile on their faces at the end of the day. Great Employees! There were some pricing issues I didn't agree with. I think they may be a bit high but I guess it is all worth it when the job is done well by great people. Scheduling is also done well by friendly staff.

I needed some electrical work done. I called many companies to get quotes. Most companies I called were not taking on any more residential jobs due to their work load or never received a call back. When I called Mr Electric I was very impressed with Rose, who was very friendly and outgoing and she was able to set up a free home estimate the following week. I have cancer and no immune system and when i asked our technician, jon, if he would mind wearing a mask, he happily did without question. Jon was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about all of the items I needed done. I received a quote on Monday and was able to get the work done on Tuesday. When Jon returned Tuesday he remembered to wear a mask. He explained what he was doing and why. He was very courteous of my son (who is special needs) asking him to cover ears when he used loud tools. Everyone I encountered was very friendly, courteous and helpful including Stacie the owner. I would highly recommend them for any electrical job and will only use them in the future.

I called on Super Bowl Sunday about 8pm after our entire house lost power. After 30 minutes of my husband losing his mind, he had ran out of possible options I asked if I needed to call an electrician. He told me to go ahead and make the call, but don't be surprised if nobody answered while the game was going on. So as he took the entire breaker box apart I grabbed the phone. I was a little surprised when someone did answered. Within 5 minutes they had trouble shot the issue. We had power, and we didn't have to spend the rest of the night cold , in the dark, and packing groceries in ice. Some others may of came out and charged us out of the nose to simply flip a switch , or change out a main breaker that we didn't need. So grateful for the friendly service and my husband swore if we ever did any help again, he would not go anywhere else. Super grateful for the patience and help.

We hired Mr. Electric to replace under cabinet lighting that had gone out, trouble shoot a switch that was not working, and put can lighting in our living room. When I called the office to tell them what we needed they recommended a bid -which is free so that we could have everything ready and save money. They seemed unsure of the issue, did a little fix that worked for a while but not permanently. Joey understood what was wrong and was able to describe the minor issue as well as easily solve it. I can not speak highly enough about this company. From the lady who did my scheduling to the electrician. So let me tell you, I was a typical pain in the butt customer. I got a bid, our budget did not allow all of it. I had to call in 3 or 4 times to adjust the work that will be performed. I had the work done almost 6 months later. Each time I called in the office staff was so incredibly helpful and kind. Never once did they get irritated with me and always took the time to explain everything. For a girl who knows nothing about electrical work, they did a lot of explaining. Now onto the electrician, he was prompt, very kind, very personable and took his job seriously and provided 120% with his customer service skills. Here I am being a pain in the butt customer again, the day he arrived, I had dirt coming in, I had retaining blocks coming in, I had multiple contractors coming in and out; I at the time was home by myself trying to keep it all straight. He was very patient with me. (I need patient, understanding people). At the time I was completely frazzled. He made a backyard remodel a little bit easier because he walked me through all of it and made his part seamless. Thank you MARIO!!! Your service did not go un-noticed. Insanely prompt. Delightfully easy to work with. Reasonably priced! What more can you want? Called Thursday after hours. They returned call Friday and scheduled me for Tuesday morning. Had estimate in hand at 10am and said "go" - job finished at 3pm! That was just one of the jobs I've had them do. The other was electrical for a small brewpub including the brewery, front of house, and kitchen. I won't call anyone else ever! Highly recommended!

They say they are open 7 days a week... but they want $350 extra to come out on a Saturday to hook up an outlet. Ridiculous. (EDIT: $350 is a ridiculous amount to charge for overtime to install an outlet. I had it done by another electrician, on a weekend, for $80. It took him 30 minutes.)

Jamie with Mr. Electric has been a pleasure to work with. We have a very old house that needs a lot of electrical work. He evaluated our wiring and recommended options that will keep our family safe until we can afford to completely rewire. From the same-day estimate to getting the job completed on time (along with the extra work he had to do thanks to some shoddy work from the previous electrician), we have been impressed every step of the way. We expect to see Jamie a lot more in the upcoming year as we continue to bring our 1902 farmhouse into the 21st century.

We had a great experience with Mr. Electric and their technician, Jon, today. A couple of our light switches and outlets were giving us trouble (and worry), so I submitted an online ticket and received a call from Rose within 30 minutes. Rose was so kind and was able to fit us in on the same day. Jon arrived right on time and was just wonderful! Reasonably priced, fast service, and incredible employees! A few weeks ago I had Mr. Electric come to my home and give me an estimate for installing the necessary wiring to use a portable generator in the event of a power outage. The people in the office were very friendly and helpful in scheduling my estimate. James (Jamey) came out as scheduled, discussed with me what I was thinking about doing and offered two alternatives that were significantly better than my plan. I scheduled the work. While I was waiting for my work to start I had a few questions (spread out over time). Again, everyone I interacted with on the phone was great. Jamey came out and did the work on schedule and was terrific to work with. He also helped me resolve an issue with some cables I had bought from a different source. While I was/am very satisfied at this point, the event that went way over an above for me is; A few weeks later, I was having a whirlpool tub installed and unfortunately the plumber that did the estimate missed the fact that there was no electricity available for the tub. This was discovered mid afternoon of the installation. A quick call to Mr. Electric and we were able to arrange for Jamey to come out later that afternoon and install the needed circuits. This was on about an hours notice. Mr. Electric clearly cares about customer service and satisfaction and they deliver very well on that commitment. Scot

Clayton was professional and on time to provide an estimate. It was originally just going to be him for a two day job, but they had someone out ill the first day so Clayton came with help the second day to ensure the work would get done in the time promised. They installed recessed lighting in the kitchen, hung several light fixtures over high, hard to reach areas, and converted an electrical outlet on our deck. The work was thorough and complete and I would use them again.
