We own Hempies here in Bend, Oregon and had some breakers moved between units. I thought we would have to shut down the store while it was done considering the size of the job but Gowdy was so easy to work with they met us at the store early and got it all done without any business interruption. Dave the electrician who did all the work was extremely considerate and really fast..hardly knew he was here. I highly recommend these guys

I'm giving Gowdy 2 stars for hooking up our hot tub. Here's why: + Quality of work that Nick performed was great. + He was on time and very professional. Why I'm knocking them three stars: - 1 for having to follow up multiple times to get an appointment after Ginger said she'd contact me with their availability (took 6 weeks from initial contact to booking). - 1 for Ginger miscalculating our materials cost. They originally billed us for $500 as "1 Material" - when I asked for an itemized breakout, she realized she did her math wrong - a $150 mistake! Good thing I asked... - 1 for feeling like they pulled a fast one on us. The house had a breaker ready less than 10 feet from the hot tub and we were charged for 200-feet of wiring and 6.5 hours of work. I've talked to multiple people who are familiar with this type of work and they all feel like we got hosed here.

I had a terrible experience in him continuing to have a terrible experience I asked for an estimate for some electrical work they gave me 1I decided not to use them they sent me a bill for almost $300 when I called to ask them why they lied to me and then when I spoke to them again a different manager called me and they lied to me again and this can continue to send me bills for work that was never performed

Spent four weeks trying to get a estimate for new home and shop. Bryen the project manager is non responsive.

Unreliable. Not good when you are needing electric pump for a septic system. Called Kercher Electric and they sent a crew out same day to do the job I waited weeks to have done by Gowdy Brothers. Where is the no star option?

I dealt with Tim Housley. Tim made many promises to us and he never followed through. The project that he was paid for was never completed. I found Tim to be one of the most dishonest individuals I have ever dealt with and I am shocked that Gowdy Bros does not fire him!

Gowdy Bros is awesome! We use them for a variety of projects. Very helpful and knowledgeable office staff. Prompt and responsive. Also, very fair pricing. We've used many electricians in Central Oregon over the years and these guys are the best!
