These folks are fast and focused fantastic professionals! My two electricians, Charlie and Casey arrived about an hour and a half early! They calmly listened as I explained the problem and they had two possible diagnoses right away. Then, while diagnosing the problem, they found another problem I had with an improper braker connection, and fixed that. Finally, after I asked them about a problem I was having with a light fixture, they talked me through the situation, helped me choose the best option, and then they fixed it on site. I am thanking God that I have Duke Homewire coverage, and that a solid company like Tidal is on the contract! Ben and Bradley not only did a great job, but they kept my family safe! While trouble shooting a partial power outage, they found a live wire on the ground behind an old building where my children sometimes play. They clearly and kindly explained the hazard, fixed the hardware, and got my power back up and running. Two great guys who gave great advice and did great work!

TidaL Electric is apparently the only company Progress Energy/Duke Power wiring plan contracts with...Day 1 I call Progress to place the order. Day 2 @4:50PM "Ron" leaves a message to schedule apt. I call immediately back-phone message says "all lines are busy"..I auto call until 5:00PM where they are now closed. Day 3 I leave a message for Ron at 930 AM & 1:00PM. Day 4 I leave a message 10AM for Ron Day 5 I call & get Ron on phone and schedule appt. They were out to replace 2 outlets and provide a quote for outside work that they never sent me the last time they were out 4+ months earlier. "Ben" dressed in a Tidal uniform does a fine job replacing the outlets. In the meantime "Robert" dressed in street clothes actually wants to argue in my house that they did send me a quote. I asked him to have the office email it to me, he said he would "try" to get up with "Ron" to send it. I explain to Robert that I had spoken to and left 8 messages with Ron over the last 4+ months -nothing! Robert stays in the company truck the entire time other than to bring a statement to sign with nothing written on it - says the office will fill in later...20 minutes goes by I mention to "Robert" that I hadn't received anything yet - his reply "there's nothing else I can do". I end up calling Tidal directly and have someone track down Ron who finally emails me the estimate while I held on the phone. It seems to be a crap shoot on what kind of person comes to do the work on your home.

My name is Johnnie Blow and I am 72 years old and do not have an account so i asked if i could use the service techs account because this company has been more then worth a 5 star review. I have been a resident of Raleigh NC for many years and have never had quite the pleasure of working with an electrical company as I have with Tidal! They are contractors for DEP and in November my house caught fire causing me and my family to be removed from our safe haven......."Home". Tidal electrical services came out and installed a new electrical panel and service at my house ensuring that everything is safe and our family can return home again!!! The work was led by Trey Gray who was very proffessional and knowledgeable at his profession, assisted by Carlos Dominguez and Ben Smith! I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY AND GROUP OF GUYS TO ANYONE I KNOW and hope the next time your in need of electrical service yoy give this 5 star company a chance to meet your needs. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING TIDAL!

Two months ago, a contractor came into apt. to replace the breaker box and rewiring. Improper wiring led to several damage items. My husband has reached out to this company regarding the damage inquire by improper wiring. My husband and I wanted to put some measures in place to ensure that Tidal would do what they said they would do (replace the items) as we have been through a lot trying to get into with this company before deciding to make a complaint on BBB. Unfortunately, the measure was not put in place to ensure that Tidal would indeed do as they say. The forum was supposed to close on 10/10/19; instead, it closed on 10/09/19. I was not going to accept the offer until Tidal provided details as to how they could ensure me that they were going to do what they said they would do as the manager was ignoring calls and submitting the complaint to BBB was the only way I was able to get a respond from BBB. I was concerned that Tidal would not do what they say they would after the complaint close if I had not acquired some type of measure. I want a specified date as to when the items will arrive. After the forum closed a day early, I emailed Tidal... As of not, I have yet to hear back from Tidal which is exactly what I was afraid of and the attempt o put measures in place to ensue that Tidal who do what they said they would do. To do business with this company would be taking a huge risk.

Among other things, the job included installation of fixtures and outlets, as well as a 50 amp receptacle for an electric car charger. Two electricians arrived on time. Very professional, very knowledgeable and very nice people to work with... I have used them twice in the past year to update lighting in my townhouse. Both times the estimator came out within a day of my request. The estimate was accurate and reasonable. A convenient time for the work scheduled and the electricians arrived perfectly on schedule and completed the work in a very professional manner. Experienced a major electrical problem with lights flickering and fuses popping. Duke Energy came out, turned off our power and said the issue was with the power distribution panel. I called two companies. Left a message with the first which never called back while Tidal answered the phone. They happened to have a truck nearby and they were at the house within an hour. An hour later the problem was fixed, they called Duke Power to get the power restored and everything was back up and working in 2 1/2 hours. Duke said the repair could be anywhere from $500 to a $1000, it cost less than $150. I would absolutely recommend them for any electrical work. Professional, friendly and fair pricing.

Tidal Electrical Services is awesome! Charlie Gray and Casey came out to our home twice. They made repairs for us under the Duke Energy Home Wiring Plan and also performed electrical upgrades in our home They installed an additional circuit breaker in the garage and a new light fixture and switch in the attic. On both visits they were consistently courteous, professional, thorough, neat, on time, and explained everything they were doing in detail. What a pleasure to have them service our electrical needs! My Generac technician retired. So, he highly suggested that I call Tidal Electrical Services which I did. Wow. I was so pleased that they could come out and do the my maintenance within 2 days, which was fine with me. The technician's name was Armando and he explained fully what he would be doing . (Checking oil, battery , cleaning, etc.a normal routine maintenance service). He also suggested a little "to-do" list of things that I could look for until my next "maintenance time".. (which I was doing between seasons. ).I did call my retired technician and thanked him for suggesting Tidal Electrical Services as his # 1 choice and now my # 1 choice for "who-to-call" when I should need their services. The communication for the Fayetteville office is terrible. I have been waiting for completion of a job started almost a month ago. Every person that I have spoke to over the phone has an excuse but no real solutions. This is probably not a good company for Progress Duke should use for work. I don't recommend them at all. No one follows up and you have to check the attitudes of the schedulers.

After we discovered 120-volt aluminum branch wiring throughout much of our 1968 house, we hired Tidal Electrical Services to install AlumiConn devices. After Armando and Robert spent a week at our house retrofitting our outlets, receptacles, and junction boxes, we can rest easy knowing our house is safe and insurable for us, and ready for the next owners, whenever that may be. Jonathan, our estimator, thoroughly explained the work beforehand and gave us a complete and accurate estimate. Armando and Robert, our electricians, were prompt, professional, friendly, hard working, and thorough. The company provided us with a letter for our insurance company and arranged for the permit and city inspection. Overall, we had great communication throughout the process, excellent service, and prompt follow-up to make sure we were happy with the project. We highly recommend Tidal for any electrical job.

Last Thursday Kenny arrived at my home on time with ID to help with some electrical problems I was having. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and expertise. He was very personable and knowledgeable about his work I was able to talk to him about the difficulty I was having, he understood and I actually enjoyed having him in my home.
