We had an emergency situation where we had no water in our house! We made an appointment with plumbers only to find out it was an electrical issue. I randomly called MR Stoner and was told they could fit me in after hours (thank goodness) but within 30 min received a call back letting me know they had someone in my area that could help right away. Ryan and Chase showed up and not only were they professional and courteous, they were definitely experts! They carefully diagnosed the issue and walked me through options to get the water back on asap. We then scheduled the repair and again they returned with a great attitude (despite it being one of the hottest days on record) and an expert repair. I cannot say enough about the customer service we received. Thanks to MR Stoner and their team!!

I am happy to write this review and share the wonderful experience we encountered with M.R. Stoner Electric. We lost our power late Sunday evening and called three other companies before coming across M.R. Stoner Electric. So glad that the others were not available even though they list 24/7 service. However, Stoner Electric stands by their claim of providing 24/7 service and we had contact with our tech within 15 minutes of our call. I don't believe we could have received better service from another company. Everyone from the call center employee who took my initial call, to the technician that came to provide service, to the owner who collected payment, all went above and beyond to ensure our power was restored and that we had everything we needed. The longest wait we had was waiting for our power company to come pull the meter for the service tech to do his job. I absolutely recommend M.R. Stoner Electric to everyone needing electrical service and I will definitely be calling them with any and all future needs. THANK YOU M.R. Stoner Electric Inc.!!

Great company, had them out to wire a room I was finishing in the house, they came out for free and gave me an estimate. Decided to go with them because their estimate was the most thorough and honest about what I needed (every other company wanted to wire into an existing circuit, they pointed out that those circuits were maxed out). After the job was scheduled I had some special requests that they were timely and considerate about granting at no extra charge to me. Their work just passed inspection, something I found out that many electric companies are willing to illegally go around in Sanford to save themselves some money. Great crew, great company, excellent service, anybody looking around can stop here.

15 years ago, luck brought me into contact with M.R. Stoner Electric. I was new to my job in real estate development and knew nothing except that if I didn't have power to a sales trailer, I was in trouble. Marty Stoner showed up and immediately calmed my nerves. He took care of all my electric needs and we passed inspection the next day. I have used M.R. Stoner ever since that day and have never been let down. The entire organization is amazing from the top down. Marty's wife, Elaine, is a saint. I needed some help with another sales trailer this past weekend. I sent Elaine an email on Sunday morning, hoping she would get to it Monday. Within 30 minutes, she had emailed and called me and sent a technician to help me...ON A SUNDAY. Billy, the technician, is another example of the quality of M.R. Stoner. Not only did he fix my problem, he went out of his way to give me little tidbits that I could use in the future to save money and time. I often question reviews and wonder if they are written by an affiliate of the company or service that is reviewed. That is not the case here, my personal experiences have led me here to write a review because they deserve it. I will not use another electrician and I would advise anyone to give them a chance. Marty, Elaine, Billy and the entire M.R.Stoner crew will take care of you.

M R Stoner Electric did work for me and I am very pleased. They gave me a detailed estimate and completed all the work I needed in a timely and professional manner. In my calls I spoke to Sheila and she is great, always so kind and cheerful. They charged what they quoted and no more. I had gotten other quotes and MR Stoner's price was very reasonable. Their staff is very courteous and goes the extra mile. Brian did an excellent job and was careful to attend to all my electrical problems in a professional manner. He explained what they were doing and went far beyond to be sure I was taken care of. I recommend MR Stoner to anyone who wants an honest and professional team of electricians.

Just got off the phone and they want a credit card number before you meet a person, or have been given a quote or estimate. I am unwilling to give any financial information to a company I have yet to meet an employee or have any kind of explanation as to what I am going to be charged. The lady just got rude on the phone and had zero interest in what I needed done at my house. Maybe it was an answering service, but still representing the company.

After two weeks of trying to hook up new gas logs (in a newly built house) the building contractors electrical crew couldn't figure out how to hook up the logs. With one phone call to M.R. Our technician Ryan was on time. He did a thorough job explaining the process of replacing the electrical panels. He was polite,he cleaned up his work site, and did not give me the creeps. We called Stoner Electric because we had a to have a difficult additional wiring circuit job done necessitating some creative routing through tight spaces and presenting a real technically logistical challenge. $200 to move a stove outlet a few inches was over the top. The outlet is not in the wall so all you do is unscrew it from the wall and move it over and screw it in somewhere else. $200. $95 trip fee and $99 charge to move the outlet. This was outrageous.

I gave two stars because I liked the guy that came out sort of, but otherwise I'd give a one star. The pricing was excessive and way overblown. They really NAIL YOU hard! In addition to the problem call they came out to assess and clear I asked them to install an outside light fixture by the door and they NAILED ME for almost $100 extra just for that! WOW! Then they gave me an estimate on changing an old problematic panel and I was FLOORED by the cost! My wife insisted we get a second estimate and we did and the electrician who ended up changing our faulty and dying panel was BLOWN AWAY by what Stoner was trying to charge us and did it for LESS THAN HALF! I only showed him the cost from Stoner after he had quoted it for us. So happy we got a second estimate! Work was done and I saved a small fortune in the process. Beware of MR STONER and their pricing!!!! A word to the wise!

Pipeworx Plumber recommended that I call MR Stoner to come and test the power supply to the water tank & water pump (located 320 feet down the well piping). The receptionist told me the earliest appointment is the next day 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. This means a night without water. She suggest I pay the emergency fee for a night visit at a cost of $159. Told her I'd think about it and called Denise at Pipworx Plumbing looking for other electricians to come and do the work. Denise asked if I spoke to the Owner, to which I had not. Denise put me on hold, called MR Stoner and spoke to Elaine. Upon returning to the call, Denise told me Elaine would be calling and she did, even before I hung up with Denise. Elaine told me someone would be at my house shortly. The electrician called me about thirty minutes after speaking with Elaine. Bryan and Mason arrived, I explained the problem and off they go. Fifteen minutes later and they determined the issue, broken water pump sitting 320 feet down in the well. Not surprised the pump was the issue. In any event, Elaine saw the urgent issue we faced with identifying the problem and immediately responded. Thank you for such a quick response! I highly recommend MR Stoner for your issues or projects. Thank you!

I called a company to inquire a quote for a new wire ran from my water heater (3-6 feet of wire) to my breaker box on the other side of the same wall my water heater is on and install a new breaker. They wanted to charge me $75 just to come out and tell me that I needed 3-6 feet of wire and a new breaker on top of labor and materials to install it. In total $200-250 for 3-6 feet of wire and a new breaker. NO!

We have used M.R. Stoner Electric about five or six times and each time they were called the electricians came out within 15 minutes of their expected time. Prior to their arriving we received a telephone call from the electricians indicating their exact time of arrival. When they did arrive they were courteous, friendly, and very interested in the project at hand. They knew the basics of what we wanted done and after giving them a full explanation of what we needed they have always provided a cost estimate prior to beginning work. Company prices are very competitive. We have been satisfied with their prices. They provide superior customer service from the time of making the initial call to completion of the project. John, Michael, and Ryan have been in our home three times this year - they have been helpful, courteous, and offer suggestions. The ladies in the office are very kind and helpful when you call to set an appointment. They work hard to set up a time convenient with your schedule. An excellent company with outstanding employees. We would not use another company of our electrical needs. Certainly, a five star firm!

So my wife called m.r. Stoner while I was at work an a limb hit our overhead line an tore our meter base off the house. John an Dustin came out to help an I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. They walked me thru what needed to be done an came back first thing in the morning I set it all back up. Unfinished Furniture Outlet

Our spray booth was down due to a broken switch. We had contacted another company to do the repair. After waiting days with still no repair and desperate to get back to work, I called M. R. Stoner Electric. We had such a good experience start to finish. First, Elaine answered the phone - no leaving a voicemail and waiting for a call back!! She sent Jerry and Jose out the same day and they had us up and running in no time. Both men were polite and quickly fixed our switch. Price was fair. We will definitely call Stoner Electric first from now on!

Ok, so I'm not an electrician and I like all of the electrical switches and outlets in my home operating as they should. I bought a small home and didn't know, but the outside back yard light switch did not work. Made me nervous, so I called Stoner Electric. They called me prior to coming and gave me an arrival time. The technicians were very friendly. I paid a fee for the technician to assess the problem and had to pay for a new switch. I was given a quote prior to the technician being dispatched so no surprises there. I was very pleased with the service and would call them again!

MR Stoner recently installed a 22 KW Generac home generator at our home in Silk Hope NC. From my first call to them through receipt of the County inspector's approval they provided all that they promised. Marty Stoner met his men on site the first day and directly helped unloading and positioning the generator safely into the best position. Ryan and Chase were then tasked with connecting the equipment, installing the load management, working with Duke Energy, our LP gas supplier and Chatham County inspections department through startup and automatic operation.
