I had a so-so experience with Mr Sparky. I needed 30 minutes of advice in tracing some wires from a licensed electrician. When I explained the issue I was trying to solve, I was offered either a $411 "Circuit Diagnostic" or a $949 "New switch leg" options. I explained to the gentleman that all I needed was help and advice on whatever we could fit into 30 minutes; just to get me unstuck so that I could proceed with my fan installation project. He explained to me that they were a flat-rate / by the job type of company and all he could do was to offer me something from the "menu." In my case, it was either going to be $411 or $949. I did not need nor took either, and the visit ended with a small service fee. Luckily I had a discount coupon that the service fee ended under $30 which I did not mind paying. In the end, that experience was somewhat disappointing. On the other hand, it was very easy to set an appointment with Mr Sparky. Someone picked up the phone right away and gave me an appointment when I needed. The technician, Jordan, called ahead and arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous and professional in our interactions. Even though he ended up not helping, I appreciated that he explained why he could not in a clear manner. My coupon was accepted without any ifs and butts and he tried to give me some tips on his way out. So all in all while my experience was lukewarm, I can see that there are other positives going for this company.

I am always impressed by the excellent service I receive by Mr. Sparky/Wise Electric. Jordon ( who was our tech .today) was polite, professional and thorough. He patiently answered all our questions and provided reasonable suggestions. Kudos to Mr. Sparky/Wise electric for always having the best staff .

I had a problem with my A/C tripping a fuse constantly during the heat of the day. I had 2 other electricians come out and diagnose and give 2 different reasons why it was wrong. I called Mister Sparky, and was able to get someone here within 3 hours of calling. The tech, Michael, was very polite and helpful. He looked at the breaker panel, as well as the A/C unit and A/C paperwork and documentation to rule out of of the costly repairs another electrician tried to sell me. He was the only one to see the breaker was actually not compatible with my breaker box, and replaced it in no time. Haven't had an issue since. I have an old fuse panel (20+ years), and was recommended for an upgrade. I would have liked to have been left more information on that, as it was a $6000+ quote for the replacement, but the only information I was shown wasn't left for me. Overall a great experience. Probably paying a little extra because it's a larger company as opposed to someone independently working, but they were quick and fixed the problem!

Allen came out and was very knowledgeable and professional. He worked in a timely manner while still being cognizant of keeping all workspaces clean. When we call back for more work I hope we get Allen. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for electrical work.
