Chris and Ajai showed up promptly at the time that they were expected. They were thorough in their exploration of the issue, and patient and friendly with me as I explained my concerns. Chris talked me through multiple options, making reasonable cases for each option. Once we selected an option, they immediately got to work, and finished on time. This was the first time that I had to navigate a major electrical issue, and the first time working through a homeowner's insurance claim. Chris was excellent in helping me through both of those processes. Pending the inspection and reconnection to the power grid, I am very pleased.

This is the second time TBE has come to the rescue. I am updating upstairs living spaces in my home and wanted to replace the electrical outlets and switch some of them to combination electrical/USB outlets. Long story short - Don't waste your time calling any other electricians. Top Brooklyn Electrician provides prompt, courteous, and thorough service at very reasonable prices. If you want to know more, read on. Chris arrived as scheduled and quickly provided an estimate. Once I OK'd the work, he immediately started replacing the outlets. After replacing the outlets and ensuring that they were all operational, Chris discovered that there was a fault in some existing wiring (thanks to the new GFI breaker that he had installed). He let me know that I could either have him troubleshoot the problem or leave it as is (provided I signed a waiver indicating I had been advised that there was a potential electrical hazard). Of course I OK'd the troubleshooting. Wouldn't you know it was related to a light fixture that I had replaced a few years ago. If I learned anything today - never DIY electrical updates. Leave it to Chris and TBE.

Chris came out to install a couple of motion sensor lights on the house and garage. He was thorough, quick and friendly. He let me watch him to understand a better understanding of the work that was done. He also gave a walk through of the house and pointed out and was able to fix issues. Chris came out to wire new lights, install a new smoke detector, and perform other minor maintenance. He explained everything very thoroughly, including reasoning, codes, options, etc. Ajai came later to help out and make the job go faster. Both were very polite, approachable, friendly, and knowledgeable. They worked diligently and got done earlier than I expected. They were considerate of my toddler as well, asking if I needed to keep a basement door closed. Referred to me by my plumber; I would definitely use them again. Not creepy or gruff and didn't smoke, which are three important things I appreciate in service providers!

These guys saved my butt! They might as well wear capes because they are real super heros. Probably not the cheapest outfit in town but you get what you pay for. I called 5 places and they were the only place that could come out and do this work when I needed it done. Work was done really well and super fast. They even vacuumed up before they left! Chris, Ajai were all involved in fixing multiple electrical issues in all parts of my house. They were prompt, clean and very impressive. The job took nearly two full days, they were extremely flexible to fit me into their schedule right away for this unplannned work. Ajai even offered to stay into the night to finish the job if needed. Luckily that wasnt necessary but a very impressive sign of character. The cost of the job was much less than I expected for multiple people to work almost two full days. They insured everything was proper and up to code. Ajai was in constant communication throughout the job, kept me apprised by cell phone. The value for their service was extremely high. I have a high level of confidence in Top Brooklyn Electrician. I was very happy with the electricians who came to my house(Chris and his assistant). They were on time, they were always on task. They were clean, intelligent, and respectful. They always made sure I had a clear picture of what they were about to do and why. I really appreciated how they always went the extra mile to make sure that they caused the least amount of drywall damage that they could. Unfortunately, there has to be some damage when adding extra lighting and outlets etc. I will definitely be using them for any of my future needs.

TBE was incredible! They have great communication skills, are knowledgeable, friendly, safe and clean up when they are done. First, they both called to set up and appoint and confirm the appointment with a text. I also felt much more at ease and safe when the text image also shows an image and name of the electrician that will come to my home. When Chris arrived he put on some booties too keep things clean and they vacuumed up after they finished. Chris also explained the problem and showed me what he had done when the service was complete. Chris was friendly and had a great demeanor. Chris fixed my electrical issue and I am very happy with everything done. Thanks again

By far the most professional contractor we have dealt with so far at our remodel. This was a complete residential rewire. The team worked to find some creative, less invasive ways to rewire our Home, we really appreciated the thoughtfulness. They showed attention to detail and the lead electrician took the time to explain some elements of the project I was less familiar with. I contracted with this company to perform extensive updating of the electrical items in my 80 year old home in Brooklyn. The home had previously had work done on it by unknown contractors. There were many unsafe items. They identified what was unsafe and came up with a detailed, written proposal at the time they viewed my property. As additional items were discovered, they presented an up-to-date proposal bid. They did not try to convince me to do more than was necessary and at times convinced me I did not need all I thought I should have done. The three electricians who worked on my property were all very professional, courteous, and had a great work ethic. I would highly recommend this company.
