My attempts to find an electrician fizzled out until I found Spirelli. Joe came by to give me an estimate and answered all my questions, concerns and follow-ups. I found Darwin, the assigned electrician, friendly, polite and willing to answer even more questions. (I ask a lot of questions.) Based on our conversations and my observations, I found his work to be of high quality and efficiency. I am very satisfied and will be hiring them back as I have more work to do.

Looking for a new generator service to add to my panel. Spirelli Electric came out to inspect my service. inspecting the panel they advise us replace the panel with an upgrade, this was an old outdated service we had. This would also include the generator service. Appointment was set with a email reminder they would be there in the morning the day before. Worked very well with the office staff with questions I had about the job. Paul and Johnny came out on time ( even 15 min early) to complete the job. Spent the day on the upgrade giving me a new panel with new labels for all the breakers. These guys worked clean not leaving any equipment or mess in the way. Need an electrician? Look no further, Spirelli Electric is FANTASTIC! I searched and vetted five other companies for my project, 15 new LED recessed ceiling lights (not the old school cans). Joe Spirelli came to assess the project personally. He very professional and honest. He gave me the best quote, and assured me it would be fine although my home was built in the 50’s. I felt very comfortable. Day of the job, FOUR! Yes a team of 4 electricians showed up promptly at 8 am., and by 11:30 am the job was complete, and all cleaned up. Unbelievable! I had a wiring problem with a piece of medical furniture being used after surgery in my home. I was not sure where to go to get this problem fixed as it was an unusual issue that did not really require an electrical contractor. That being said, I showed up at their door, told him the issue I was having, parts in hand, and asked them if they had any advice. The owner of the company came out and said he'd take a look at it if I had a few minutes. Not only did he take a look at it but it turned out to be a fairly difficult wiring issue. He actually had his electricians get involved as well and they worked on it in the back for almost an hour until they were satisfied the repairs were completed properly. Result, medical furniture properly again and I was very thankful. I fully intend on using them again for any of my electrical and will be recommending them to any friends, family, or neighbors that might need work as I was very impressed by their courtesy, customer service, and expertise.

Darwin, the electrician who performed the work was punctual, personable and above all, knowledgeable. After having washing machine hoses replaced and went to have the machine plugged back in, found out the electrical outlet for the plug was not working right and called Spirellli to have someone come in. Ended up was able to get one of their electrician's (Darwin) to come in the same day. Darwin showed up and did a great job in replacing the outlet as well as checking one of my electric baseboard heaters that was not working and was able to find out in a few minutes what the problem was. Used Spirelli a few years back and was not disappointed then or now as to their workmanship, courtesy and customer service. Glad I came back to use then again. Will be having Darwin come back as soon as I get a replacement baseboard heater.

We called about a chandelier that was not going on and off and about installing a timer switch for our outside lights. The electricians, Tim and Alex, came right on time, fixed the on/off problem with the chandelier immediately and set up the system for utilizing a smart timing system for the outside. They helped us coordinate it with our cell phones and our virtual home "assistants." They were extremely pleasant and helpful. Couldn't ask for more!

I would just like to say that we used Spirelli Electric to install a switch in order to run our generator according to NYS code. Our electrician was Jeff and he was super professional and made the process quick and easy. He was able to show my wife and I how to start, run and stop the generator, what switches could be ran in addition to the generator being used and then allowed us to make a video on our phone in case we happen to forget in the future. I have a two year old son and he can be a handful at times. Jeff took the time to acknowledge him and make him, my wife and myself feel very comfortable during the entire procedure. I highly recommend Jeff for future appointments if you need work done.

I just purchased a new (old) home (248 years old, to be exact) that came with some pretty serious electrical issues. After reading all of the positive reviews for Spirelli Electric online, I decided to fill out their online form and received a phone call from Emily shortly after. Based on how wonderful, friendly and knowledgable Emily was, I knew I would have a great experience with Spirelli Electric. Jeff and Gabe showed up today a couple of hours early and began tackling my laundry list of issues. My first request was to install a new outlet in the top of a lofted barn/garage space for a garage door light, and they did so quickly and neatly. Other electricians I spoke with wanted to run a visible cable line up the wall of the barn from an outlet (which would've been awful). Jeff and Gabe were able to run a line directly from the subpanel to the light from inside the wood walls on a dedicated breaker -- you can't even tell they did anything! Next they came into the house to look at issues including improperly wired outlets, outlets missing a ground, etc. They were able to provide excellent guidance on what needed to be done and were able to fix some of the problem outlets. They even helped me grab a bug off the ceiling. Haha. Needless to say I am very happy with the work they've done; they're seriously two of the nicest guys I've ever met. I'm very impressed with Spirelli Electric and look forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks when they work on resolving some more of the issues. Thanks Jeff and Gabe!!!

This was not the first time I have used Spirelli Electric. Every time I have used them I have been completely satisfied. No matter the size of the job, all the technicians are awesome and most importantly treat my home like it is their own. This last visit Jeff installed some smart switches for us so we could control outside lighting from our smartphone. The experience from the time you make the appointment from the time the technician leaves is top notch. My appointment was confirmed with a phone call a day or two prior, a reminder email sent, Jeff called when he was on his way and arrived when we said he would. Nothing short of what we have come to expect from Spirelli. We used Spirelli Electric today for the first time. We decided to call them based on reviews from Angie's List and it was no mistake. They returned my call within an hour and despite being short of staff due to a vacation schedule, someone was out to our house by the next day to provide an estimate for the work, free of charge. The work was explained thoroughly to us and how the billing works. We asked that the work be done within 2 weeks and they sent Troy, a technician, out one day later to do the job. Troy called to say he was running early. He was courteous, professional, and thorough. Despite being paid hourly, Troy worked diligently and completed the work hours short of the original window suggested to us. He left the space clean and in better shape than before showing up. We will definitely be using Spirelli again! Thank you :)

After experiences with two completely unresponsive electricians in the area (from different companies), we found Spirelli and had a *great* experience. No need for estimate or visits, they just sent someone out with a transparent pricing arrangement for time and materials. Troy was prompt and professional -- even giving me a call to see if he could arrive early. In a short visit, he knocked out a variety of longstanding fixture issues, troubleshooted some complex wiring in our 1830s house, and fastidiously managing details and keeping all work areas clean. All in all, we will be calling on Troy and Spirelli again when our next electrical projects come up. Great experience.

Absolutely Amazing. As first time homeowners, my wife and I, were daunted by the challenges in finding and hiring the right contractors for our various needs (plumbing, electrical, general, landscape etc.). We despaired, after a stream of ridiculously high (zip code rate) estimates from other contractors, that our electrical projects would have to be put on hold. And then we hit upon Spirelli Electric. First off, to be honest, I wasn't sure, hourly rates always make me nervous and the electrical projects we had in mind (Old outdoor lighting fixtures that hadn't worked in a decade, poor DIY electrical work by our homes predecessor, crazy switches all over the place) would involve quite a bit of problem solving and detective work on the electrical side. But Joe, the owner, did not leave it open ended and put our projects in for a 3hr block at a very reasonable rate. After having to change the dates a few times, because of the snowy weather, (a big thank you to Emily at the Spirelli office for being so accommodating to our scheduling needs and for being so genuine and kind as well) our big day came. After about a 15 minute walk-around to show the electricians the project they got to work. I was completely floored at how quickly our Spirelli electricians, Fernando and Arty, jumped in and began making a difference. For example, they were able to get a lamp post in the car park going, in about a half hour, that my neighbor, who has lived next door for 25yrs has never seen in working condition. And the whole time as i watched over everything they were doing, they were personable, friendly and answered all my queries and questions with a patient attitude and demeanor. Anyway, to wrap this review up, they were able to get done in 4 hours what other contractors were telling me couldn't be done in less than 8. Part of this, I feel is due to their level of knowledge and that ability that can never be taught, intuitiveness. I am a man of common sense and good standards and I say, Bravo Spirelli, Bravo. Our electricians for the life of our home. No question.

Jeff from Spirelli is amazing! He's very knowledgeable and professional. He spent the entire day fixing a myriad of electrical issues, including the shoddy unfinished work done by a previous electrician, as well as fixing a broken doorbell, several broken outlets, and a broken overhead patio light. He was extremely courteous, always asking if we were happy with what he was doing. He was punctual, and called us to let us know he'd be 10mins late. He had integrity and refused to connect some old devices that were in bad shape. He was also very friendly. Spirelli is a very professional service with a receptionist, appointment reminder emails, and emailed invoices. His prices were reasonable and he even gave us some tips on how to save money.

Tim and Elliot (electricians who did the job) were very friendly and professional. Prior to the job, Joe Spirelli came at my request to review work needed to run an electrical connection for a gutter heat wire. His quote, while verbal, was considerably less than others I had received. I inquired about installing a switch but concerned about the extra cost; Joe arranged to have the materials available and let me decide during the install. Tim and Elliot completed the work, which involved running the connection through both the basement and crawl space up to circuit box on an interior wall within the living space, without having to make any holes in the wall (which everyone had said might be necessary) sooner than predicted. They suggested installing the [lighted] switch within the weatherproof external connection box (instead of an interior wall) to eliminate extra labor cost. Overall I was extremely satisfied with both the work and the cost.
