As a homeowner, I think it's important to have a plan in place to maintain all household functions, i.e. Heating/Air/Plumbing/Electric. While there have been days when I did not think this was the best of maintenance programs (Mr. Sparky), today's annual inspection worked out well for me. In fact, it's making me reconsider once again joining the "club." An outlet in the laundry room, which caused me some concern, was replaced after a closer inspection by Mr. Sparky's representative, Ben. He was very conscientious about the annual inspection as well as the replacement. All in all, it's the service and personal attention to detail that made handing over my CC for the outlet replacement a little less painful. Thanks, Ben

Do not use this company. Had after hour emergency, and they charged me 250.00 to just come out and look. Then tried to scare me into leaving electric off over night so they could come back the next day and charge me 2500.00 to replace the panel box. If you call Mr Sparky, you may just get burned.

Today I was assisted by James Mellinger (of Mister Sparky Electric) who was very professional and very knowledgeable about the work I needed done at my home. After carefully listening to my description of the problems we were having in our home, I appreciate that Mr. Mellinger gave me an overview of what he believed may have been the problem and informed me of the potential time and cost, while informing me of his need to do a thorough diagnosis of the issue to be sure he knew what the problem actually was (and the actual cost to fix it). He identified/confirmed the actual cause of the problems and was able to fix most of them on the spot. The last issue requires me to purchase a part from a hardware store but Mr. Mellinger gave me his card so that when I am ready to have that part installed in our home, he assured me I can call him and he would be the one to install the part within 1 - 3 business days after my call to him. The pricing was very fair/reasonable considering the electrical issue we had in our home. I also very much appreciate that he didn't try to "upsell" me with additional products or services (like Haller Enterprises has a very annoying habit of doing - which is among the several reasons why we refuse to use Haller Enterprises any longer if at all possible) and simply informed me of the best/worst case scenarios (in terms of the potential work and cost involved) prior to him confirming what the problem actually was. Finally, Mr. Mellinger was extremely personable the entire time (while still being professional). He took the time to educate me on the issue so that I am now more informed of how/what to be aware of if I encounter similar situations in the future. He also demonstrated the "knack" of knowing how to engage in informative (but relevant) "conversation" that was NOT off-putting, awkward or intrusive (unlike some technicians I have encountered with various other electrical or plumbing companies in this area). It was a pleasure to have Mr. Mellinger as the Mister Sparky Electric service tech called out to our home. I strongly recommend his company recognize the good work that he does as a professional and as a representative of this company.

Disgusting service. The Dispatcher was very rude! I asked where was the electrician, because he was 2 hours late and she asked me if I would like to cancel, since I am apparently impatient. Yet I had no electricity in the majority of my home, so I had no choice but to wait.. I wish I knew the name of the dispatcher! Very unprofessional . When the electrician finally got to my home, he also wanted to charge me an arm & a leg, then the audacity to ask for a tip ! I paid about $1200 & will NEVER use their service again.

This company is a fraud and a lie. They lie about prices and over charge customers. They are very unprofessional and it is a family own franshise . They do not treat there employees with respect and as well there is no diversity . No , I do not have nothing against any ethnicity but professionally you need to speak English around those who do not understand Spanish as well in the work place or on job site . Nelkys is the sales manager and Claudio is the boss of this company and he does not handle things professionally. Nelkys states not to let customers know that Claudio is the actual manager because customers tend to get out of hand in what services they want and prices they want. As I recalled Nelkys also states they have been through more than 4 employees in the office . They do not have a steady employee in the office. Nelkys also was very rude to a young black female who was terminated unprofessionally. Due to a medical situation as well that young lady brought in a doctors note . Nelkys stated it was okay for the young lady to came in the next day to work she terminated her . They withheld her last check pay and also harassed the young lady in text messages after told to leave the office.My suggestion try visiting your office , communication with the people who are doing your service. Just because this company pops up online as first company does not mean they are the best .overall I would not have this company in my home due to the lack of professionalism and OVERCHARGED prices

The team worked all day and got all tasks completed. Claudio was great to work with. Will be using them for future needs. Update: after what I thought was a great job I soon realized it was not. My lights flicker that they installed and when I called to have it looked at they came back and tried to tell me I needed a new breaker box and a new breakers for 3000 dollars. He then told me he would do it for 1800 when I said no way. I had another electrician come out immediately after and tell me I had nothing wrong with my box and breakers. Mean while my lights buzz like crazy when dim and flicker when anything else in the house cycles in. Half of the lights they installed are already slipping from the ceiling , and the outlets they installed were cut into the wall in such a way that they are letting extreme amounts of cold air into the room with drafts. I wanted to like there services but I have had to hire another company to look at there work twice now. The pricing is all over the price and it is arbitrary. They couldn't provide me a breakdown of parts andabor. They just kept saying it's 1800 clean and it's a favor because it's normally 3000.

Had them come to the house for the $49 estimate which should have been my first clue to forget about them. The guy who came to do the estimate was very nice and explained everything thoroughly. The quote for running 3 cable lines so we can put tv's in other bedrooms was an astronomical amount of money. So we got two more estimates and we found a very well known and reputable company in the area that did the job for 2.5K less. Really Mr. Sparky, eat my $49 and I will never give you a good reference ever.

I was shocked by Mr. Sparky. When I called the company, a scheduler told me that an electrician could take care of two small issues -- tightening blades on an atrium ceiling fan and replacing a 2x4' fluorescent light -- on the day I called. I was pleased at the promise of such prompt service. She said there would be a one-time $53 service fee for the visit, plus whatever time and material costs were involved. I agreed to pay that fee. A few hours later a Mr Sparky truck showed up in my driveway. The service person looked at the two jobs and told me 1) he had no ladder on his truck and could not fix the fan, and 2) the fluorescent light replacement would cost close to $300. Oh, and he could not do the work, because he was an estimator, not a repairman. The $53 covered his visit, but I would need to schedule the actual repairs another time. I said I'd be in touch if I wanted Mr. Sparky's help. The next day I rented a 10-foot ladder and tightened the fan blades. Cost: under $20. I bought a replacement light for under $100 and installed it in a couple of hours. Bottom line: I paid $53 for an estimate.

On Friday March 1 2019, James an electrician came out and did a diagnostic on the problem, found an outlet that was thought to be the problem and fixed it. After James left, the problem reocurred. I called Mr. Sparky told the customer service person what occurred, there was no one to send back out Friday, but could send someone out Saturday morning which was fine, I asked if James was coming and was told that Duston would be coming. I received a phone call early Saturday morning saying that there was an early morning cancellation and would it be okay for the electrician to come earlier, which I said yes to. Duston came assessed the problem and replaced the other 3 outlets. Duston was personable and honest and forthright, I only wish that James who also was personable and honest would have given me the option of replacing the 3 other outlets at the same time so that there did not have to be a second trip.

I was very dissatisfied with this company. The man that came out was perfectly nice and patient with me, and I have no complaints personally with him—my issue is solely with the company and the pricing. There is a $53 service fee, which I was led to believe on the phone would cover someone coming out, diagnosing the problem, and giving me a quote to fix it. How wrong I was. When he arrived, it was explained to me that the $53 only covered him getting to my door—it would be another $290 to diagnose and temporarily fix problem until he could get a quote for the full fix (I was later told that would be around $2500-3000). Had I known it would be close $350 just for a quick look over and diagnosis, I never would have called. They said they would be willing to do the job without spending the $290 to diagnose it, but could not be held responsible if it didn't fix my problem. Good thing I didn't, because I later found out the problem was elsewhere, which they would have known had they been willing to unscrew 2 small screws and check. (But that would have cost $290....) I called a different (licensed and insured) electrician the next day, who was out in an hour, thoroughly diagnosed the problem, and temporarily fixed it (doing more in depth work than Mister Sparky said they would do) for under $150. Live and learn. Again, no problems with the technician. I'm sure it's company policy, and a big company like this has a lot more overhead that will come right out of your pocket. I'm disappointed that my $53 bought nothing more than a hard lesson to do your research before picking an electrician. UPDATED BASED ON RESPONSE: It's interesting to me that this company is trying to take the moral high ground when they are the ONLY company willing to do the work without first diagnosing the problem. That would have costs me thousands of dollars, not fixed the problem, and put my family at risk. Diagnosing would have consisted of one minute removing two screws and looking (and cost $290...because screw removal is super hard). I did fix the problem, from a licensed and insured electrician, for a third of the cost they quoted. I don't appreciate them detailing the specifics of my job in their response (and it's wrong..there was never any question about replacing that part), so I will add one thing that I purposefully left out of the first review: Shortly after their call, someone from their company called and offered to do the job for half the price, cash only, no warranty, "Bear Gryll style" (whatever that means), without first properly diagnosing the problem. If that doesn't set off warning bells, I don't know what will.
