I recently has my Federal Pacific fuses all replaced by Albertson Electric. The job went perfect. It was reasonably priced and work went smooth, They also installed a whole house generator and this went very smooth also.The generator was purchased a few weeks before instalation as I received a 10 year warrently during a promotional period. The company also put lites around my house that work great. Albertson Electric is reliable, fairly priced and the workers are respectful,neat, courteous and can handle any problems. I cannot say enough good things about Joey, the owner and the electricians that performed the work at my house are awesome. John the electrician is outstanding. No job is too tough for him. He fixed old one of a kind lights and they now work as they did 21 years ago. I am fortuate to have them assist me in all my electrical needs as I have had numerous contractors work this year at my house and albertsons is the best. I recommend them highly.

****Terrible experience with this company.**** They are not interested in helping with your problem and focus exclusively on billing you whether they can do the job or not. Called them in to determine why a light switch was not working. In 5 minutes it was determined that it needed to be replaced but was told they could not get the part from their supplier so they couldn't fix it. So I said if your supplier doesn't have it then get it somewhere else. I was told that they don't do that. Really ? I was charged for the visit even though they could not fix the problem that I called them in for. Are you serious ? Called the office and explained my issue to the secretary and was told she would discuss it with the owner and get back to me. Never heard back from her. ****STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A FAIR, EXPERIENCED, CARING, COMPANY.

Albertson Electric is the ONLY electrical company I will ever call. For as long as I’ve been living on Long Island, we have always called them to fix various things around the house, and they have always been extremely helpful, courteous and priced fairly for the high quality work they produce. The reception staff is very helpful in scheduling a man to come to the house in a timely manner-- I never have to wait more than a couple of days. The company is actually a family business owned by two brothers, and if you ever have a problem with anything, they will call you back and explain the electrical situation to you in a way you can actually understand. They are really great people, and it’s been a pleasure to work with them!

ALBERTSON ELECTRIC – 1st Class Service Upon arrival home one day after work I realized that half of my house did not have power. My refrigerator, stove and living room all were without electric. I called up Albertson Electric, who provides after hours emergency service, and within a half an hour a technician arrived at my house to troubleshoot the problem. He was very efficient in his work and quickly diagnosed the problem of a faulty main breaker. Not only did he fix the problem on the spot, but he also took the time to explain what he was doing and point out to me how to see warning signs of issues in the future. The work was impeccable, the service was top notch and the price was great. I will only use Albertson Electric moving forward with any other electrical work I need and would not hesitate to refer Albertson Electric to anyone who is looking for assistance.

I can't say enough about Albertson Electric at 901 Willis Ave. (not to be confused with another establishment also on Willis Ave.) I had a great experience with Alberston Electric a while ago, when I just "took a chance" finding them in the phone book. Since they did such a great job then, I decided to call them again for a new project which needed electric components. Let me start with the caring and intelligent secretarial staff. They listen to your request and reply to you quickly with answers or have someone in charge call you back THAT DAY. The owner Joe is unbelievable in his approach to the customer. He has gone WAY beyond to help us with an electrical installation for a project that was financially not worth his time, I am sure. Their workmanship is first rate, their prices are EXTREMELY fair and you will not find better service in the industry. Thank you to Jessica, Paula and Joe for your kindness and wonderful assistance . BE VERY CAREFUL They brought me to small claims court for work they never did. Owner could have very easily settled with me via phone prior to..... I asked him while in court why he wouldn't talk to me on the phone prior to him bringing me to court. He said that's what he has employees for. When I pointed out that his employees told me that I had to talk to him about this matter, he just looked at me... gigantic waste of everyone's time .... So unnecessary. Oh, and also, they will never give you a day to come and work, they will instead piece meal the job and call you 20 min before they want to send someone at 2 in the afternoon so that the job can't be completed that day.... Very odd BE CAREFUL! UPDATED RESPONSE. MY NAME IS MY MAIDEN NAME WHICH MAY BE WHY YOU CANT FIND ME. This is not an error. YOU DID BILL ME FOR WORK THAT YOU DIDNT DO AND TAKE ME TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT. IT SEEMS THAT THIS IS A COMMON PRACTICE FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU HAD TWO OTHER CASES THAT DAY...... YOU CONSTANTLY HAD THE OFFICE CALL TO TRY TO MAKE PARTIAL TIME APPOINTMENTS AT FOR INSTANCE 2:00 PM. I LIVE IN EAST HILLS ROSLYN COUNTRY ESTATES 11576. You give small local Busines a bad name.... After I engaged you, I learned of another customer in Port Washington 11050 that had the same exact partial schedule issue as I dd, and fired you, and found a replacement electrician that came in , started the job at 9:00 AM, and actually finished he job in one day... hmmmm... imagine that.... As I am a human being, I will not call you names like another reviewer did, however that is my exact sentiment after meeting you in small claims court.

My parents have been customers for years. Recently a repair person came to their house to fix ONE light outside and took it upon himself to disconnect EVERY outdoor light. This was not necessary for the task at hand and when my mother called to speak to them about the issue, she was brushed off. Its been a month now and nothing. She went to the store to speak with the owner and still not a thing was done even though she was promised they would rectify the situation. They even had the nerve to charge for the work that the guy took it upon himself to do, which was never discussed or authorized. Seriously, a joke.

Called at 8:30 a.m. on Friday with my problem. Was told it would take about 4 hours for someone to come. After 3 and a half hours, I called to see if someone was coming soon. Was told I that I was never told 4 hours, and there was only one man and if he couldn't get to me by 4:30, they'd put me on the list for MONDAY!!! I called another company , which came in an hour and cancelled Albertson. I had been a customer, but never again.

Great company and very skilled electricians! All of the electric in my house needed to be updated and/or rewired. They were prompt in giving me an estimate and in completing the work. Priced very fairly. I would highly recommend this company!

Horrible experince!! Seems to be a trend as others (see posts below) had similar experience: Billed for work that was not done! Albertson billed me $4,345. for troubleshooting work that they never properly troubleshooted or repaired. After attempts to troubleshoot, they wanted me to pay them $7,250. To change the wire, when I asked them if this will fix the problem that I am having, Joe told me that he could not guarantee and that it would be just a process of elimination part of troubleshooting. I then told him “no thank you” They never told me that they would bill me for troubleshooting anything, and although I understand that they have workers to pay even if they did not do the job —- the bill came for $4,345. Is a highway robbery. I tried to reason in writing outlining what took place by email with Joe, (as telephone conversations did not go well). He just does not seem to care what I am saying but is putting his own spin and saying things that never happened, such as that I asked him to other people’s work. Sent me a bill via email (for $4,345.) on Dec 27th, 2017 and on January 22nd, approximately 3 weeks later sent me a certified “Demand Letter” that the lawsuit will be brought. Who does that? I have recently purchased an old big house, the “big” part must have given them the idea to bill us for crazy amount, .... I have worked with many people from all around the world, but I have never worked with anyone like this company. So now I will have to pay my attorney a lot more than $4,345 (billed amount) as I, and none of us, like to be manipulated and used.
