I bought three Allen + Roth outdoor motion activated lights from Lowes. A Pezz technician installed them today during the day. It's night time now and non of them are working. The Technician Adam was excellent and very professional. After the fixture was install he tested the the motion and it was ok. It's now night time and it seems the motion is not working. I called Pezz's office and spoke with someone from their answering service who said a technician would call me. I was surprised that the person who called was the owner of Pezz whose name is Vinnie. He assured me that he would followup on this issue and get it resolved as soon as possible. This is terrific customer service that the owner of the company called.

After a lengthy power outage last year, my husband and I decided to purchase a whole house generator. We had used PEZZ Electrical Services in the past and were very happy with their work, so we contacted them. Vinnie was very helpful and extremely patient with all our questions. PEZZ installed our generator in the summer and it has already kicked in twice. This not only saved food in the fridge, but also saved us from suffering a lot of anxiety. Ryan, Adam, Kyle, and Ernie were all very professional and polite. Ryan did an outstanding job of installing a new electrical panel for the generator and relocating the existing panel. Each of the installers did a stellar job. The purchase and installation of a whole house generator is a major investment, but the peace of mind it brings is priceless. This is especially true if you depend on a well to provide your water and/or have no back up source of heat. When you decide to invest in a whole house generator, I highly recommend PEZZ to do the work. I am confident that they will always have our back should we experiençe any problems.

The technician arrived and was friendly, wore shoe coverings and was able to diagnose the problem in a few minutes. He proceeded to verify the issue by testing the circuits and even made sure the outside power was properly connected. He took the time to explain step by step what he was doing. Once the problem was confirmed he let me know what parts were needed, gave me an estimate but told me he had to order the part. Then he checked his truck and installed a temporary breaker that would get my power back on while we waited for the brand new part to arrive. Less than 24 hours later I got a call confirming the part was ordered and to schedule the return trip to install.

However, the office manager who scheduled the appointment wasnt so efficient, nor accurate with his quotes. The technicians were baffled as well & had to pull up the recorded call to confirm my claim of a quote which contradicted what the manager said he quoted me initially....Hence the reason for 4 stars. I highly suggest speaking with the technicians regarding quotes and prices because they know what it would take to complete a job and the complexity of each one. Also, Ryan even made time after to speak with us about other jobs we need done in our home and was just so friendly! Looking forward to working with Ryan soon.

We had to replace our condition unit and furnace,and after researching online, PEZZ ELECTRICAL SERVICE seem to be the best company to do the job. So we called and made an appointment to have them come out and look at the problem. Chris was on time and was very knowledgeable and advise us as to what to do. I had lots of questions to ask him and he was very patient and knowledgeable. So they were hired to do the job. Elmer and Anthony did a great job and were very knowledgeable,skilled and courteous and worked hard to have it done on time and properly installed. They even wore hospital booties in the upstairs of the house to keep it clean! They cleaned up after everything was done. The office staff and owner was very helpful also. I started using the electrical services of Pezz Electric about 10 years ago when I needed to have new electrical panels and stair and sign lights installed for my front building. The technician that I dealt with at that time was skilled, knowledgeable, paid attention to details, and pleasant. Today's story is about heating unit issue and goes beyond unreliable. It goes into lying to the customer and neglecting them when they can't get the customer to go for a huge replacement of the unit-Heating Unit. Last month, I found my home heating unit not working. The pilot light was not out. There was a loud noise coming from the unit. I spoke to Dale who was very helpful. She sent the technician right out because that day, we had below freezing weather. David ‘the best HVAC tech” arrived. Said my "old" heating unit's water pump was broken. He said he'll fix it but can't "guarantee,” “it'll "cost about $475 to replace the pump, and for a couple more grand, you can just get a new heating unit." I didn't ask what exactly he meant by guarantee it. I thought he meant guarantee on the part. I told him that replacing the unit was far from my mind that day. I was more focused on getting the heat back and make it through the winter. I missed work that day and I was already behind on paper work at work. Also, my home heating unit is an oldie, but a goodie, since it was installed in the 1970s. It needed changing parts here and there over the years but it was working. I found that hard to believe. I left him in the basement to his work. He drained the water after replacing the pump and said I needed to pay for an extra tubing because mine was bad. I ended up paying $550.00. (No discount for existing customer. I was told that $550 was the lowest. ) I asked him as he was finishing up, "so it will cost about two thousand to get a new unit?" I told him to give me a quote in writing for the new unit. So then he said, "well, it'll be about $5000.00." I’’ll have the office email it to you. Never got one. He said it will take a long time to heat up the house because he drained the water. Ok. No problem there. I tipped him $9.00 because that was all the cash I had on me. I was happy to have heat back. About 3-4 days later, my heat in zone 2 and 3 (upstairs) was constantly on. I couldn't turn it off. I figured it might be the thermostat so I tried to troubleshoot over the next two days. I also called Pezz and let the receptionist know about the problem. She said that if I wanted to troubleshoot I had time sinceshe couldn’t get anyone out to me because they were out on the job. Said to call back in the morning if my troubleshooting doesn't work. She said someone can help me. Then today I woke up to a cold house again. It started snowing since early morning and went onto snow all day and evening just as the weather forecast said. I tried to figure out what could be wrong. The furnace light was on but it wasn't heating when the thermostat was raised. I called Pezz Electric back this afternoon close to 2pm. Eric picked up. I told him the problem and the past history of repair in January with Pezz. He said he'll go to talk to David who worked on it. He said he'll talk to Vinny the owner of the business, too. He then came back and said David said he already told you that you'll have to get a new heating unit. I was angry. I told Eric about the call I made a few days after David replaced the pump. Eric said there's no history in the record. Eric sided with David. They are not going to keep repairing the unit. David came out only once. And my call was not even noted down? Eric said he didn't get Vinny so he'll try again and call me back later. Now it's 9:14pm, I never got a call back. And as for the record of contacting Pezz, it occurred to me later that it will be on my cell phone bill. Pezz Electric's employees (with the exception of the two women I spoke to) have absolutely no interpersonal skills, slightest of concern toward their customers,or professionalism. They do not have any customer service skills or ethical work attitude.

The PEZZ electrician did a great job of explaining the installation and completing the work in a very professional and thorough manner. The rep. performed a test of the outlets (TESLA outlet and other standard GFI outlets) while I was present and cleaned the work area. Nice Job!

Customer Service and Trust are important to me, this company has both. David priced my system and Elmer installed it (i think Joe helped) and I would never use another company for HVAC or Electrical. I usually don’t review companies but if peace of mind is what you are looking for, look no further. As a police officer, i deal with a lot of contractor scams and shady people - it is refreshing to see a company like Pezz Electric exists and isn’t price gouging for their quality and integrity. They could ve charged me $1,000 more and i would have used them. (Pezz - Please don t charge more though).

After getting an home inspection on a condo in Hillsborough, I called Pezz about some electrical work that appeared necessary. After about a day of reviewing the cited problem in the report, Vinny called me back and gave me a thorough explanation of the problem in a way that a non-electrician could understand. Kohler 20kw generator installation of 2012 had a defective transfer switch. New switch required a swap out of the existing fuse panel / switch box. Installation required power down for six hours (longer than estimated). Switch was tested and working, however the reconnection of the circuits was skewed and resulted in mislabeled breakers. I spent two hours tracing down the circuits and properly labeling each which is important in an emergency situation.

The fella came EARLY on a Monday morning, diagnosed the problem 1,2,3, and had the spare part to install. He did an additional review of the entire furnace, an on the spot maintenance.
