If I could give a zero I would. I called Saturday afternoon requesting an appointment to clean out a clogged drain in kitchen and laundry room. The very nice representative set the appointment from 1 to 7 for Sunday. Mind you they advertise 24/7. I received a confirmation email stating they will be there between 12 and 4 Sunday. So we waited in all day. By 4:15 I called and was informed the tech was finishing up another job and would be calling me shortly. By 7:15 I called again just to be told we were rescheduled for today, Monday. I said that won't work because no one will be home. So I said if they don't come this evening I will get someone else. She put me on hold for a half hour supposedly trying to get a tech then hung up. I then called two other companies and their response time was under 12 hours. The plumbers may be good, I wouldn't know. But the customer service agents need some training. The appointment should never had been made if they couldn't keep it and they should have extended the common courtesy and called me and informed me they could not make it.

If you want the best the first time, they are the company to use. Do not look for places that are less money. You will spend that money and then call Gold Medal to repair, reinstall or service the problems you may have!! This is the best company and worth every penny. Attempted to schedule a furnace "tune-up" for the fall. Scheduled for a day between 12pm-4pm. The company called twice during that time. The first time, I was informed they would be late. I had no problem. Second time, they asked to reschedule. Okay. Rescheduled for two days later. They called, and informed me they would be after 4pm. Okay. I had to call them at 6:30pm. The rep said there was no techs available at this time. They would have to reschedule my appointment for over a month later. They were only responding to priority calls. But I was welcome to call if my furnace failed. No chance. I will post on multiple sites. Definitely not Gold Medal. Aluminum medal, at best.

Simply WOW !!! I believe in Reviews (Good & Bad) and this one is better than Good.....it is GREAT!! JASON from Gold Medal Service deserves a raise and a promotion! This fine young man called me as promised before arriving. Then JASON arrived right on time and was a PERFECT GENTLEMAN and highly skilled / Knowledgeable. I wasn't sure if the co. would send a technician all the way out to Warren County, but as luck would have it, I saw and then guided one of their Vans to my neighbor's place across the street! With that said, I placed a call to Gold Medal because of a "slow draining" toilet. Jason used a Long Snake, driven by a power drill, the likes of which I had never seen before. I'll spare you from going into too much detail (LOL) - he succeeded in "moving things along" and within a few minutes the problem was solved!! I highly recommend JASON from Gold Medal. ***Note to the Owner*** You should list your physical address on your website / contact page, because I like many people, have been somewhat leery and hesitant to contact places that look like they are "hiding from something" or just "subcontract" the work out to a Network of various contractors. Having a phone # and all of the inquiry email contact info is good, but list your physical mailing address so people realize where you are. Just my $0.02 ......Thanks Again to Jason and Gold Medal for a job WELL DONE !!

0 Stars....Got a service appointment 5 weeks ahead of time . Given 4 hour window to wait . Then get called 2 hrs in that window that the service will be at the end my window . Next call over 1 hour after my window is over that I am next in the line ... No one should have to wait over 5 hours for a service .Will never call them or use their service. Poor customer care and absolutely no consideration for the client's time.

I worked with David who provided me a great service at the time of the quote. I was told the installation was done properly, but unfortunately I did it over the spring and I was not able to test. As soon as the heat wave showed up, the AC was not able to handle the heat. I reached out to Gold Medal Service, to only find out that the 24/7 service is only for phone calls. I was told that I would have to wait 6 days for some one to come and check the AC. After I notified them that I was recording the call, the operator hanged up. She called me back, and told me that I was not allowed to record her, but that the 24/7 is only a call service, not actual service to your house. Awesome, I hired a company that has false advertisement. Expecting them this week to see what the problem is. Will enjoy a hot weekend... since I picked the wrong company!!! Be aware of what and who you hire! Keep on learning.

Unfortunately although we did have a good installation experience their warranty service is lacking. We recently experienced a shut down of our air conditioner during a heat wave. We called for warranty work and were told that they couldn't send anyone out for 6 days. They stated that they have warranty work scheduled for weeks and the receptionist could only apologize and say that there was nothing she could do but put us on their emergency list or if they have a cancellation she would have someone come out. So their 24 hour service isn't worth the paper it is written on. If the condenser wasn't under warranty we definitely would have called another company. I surely hope Gold Medal knows and appreciates one of their employees named Jason Klink. He really impressed me and I'm not easily impressed. We had another company AG Perri to the house several times for a clogged drain issue which they tried to fix but it was always just temporary. Jason asked several questions and then inspected the entire plumbing situation and took a whole different approach and got the job done. Jason is Very knowledgeable and obviously enjoys his profession. So very polite and accommodating. Thank you Jason.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! Call another company. THE TECHS WILL TRY TO HUSSLE YOU AND DISRESPECT YOU. I Gold Medal to come out diagnose the problem with my outdoor AC unit. When I made the appointment, the operator told me it would be $69 for the technician to find out what’s wrong and then they will give me pricing on troubleshooting. When the technician, “Al” got to my house, it was like he was in a rush. I was telling him all of the fixing and troubleshooting things that we have already done and before I was done telling him my situation he told me to “stop talking.” He looked around the unit without doing anything and said that I would have to pay him $299 so he can diagnose the problem and that I would become a member. When I expressed that I didn’t want to be a member, he said he couldn’t help me or tell me what’s wrong. Then he proceeded to ask for “ at least $100” because he felt like he had to do too much work to figure out what the problems was with our unit EVEN THOUGH HE DIDN’T CHECK ANYTHING OR TELL US WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS! I refused to pay him anything but the $69 so he took his stuff and was leaving without doing anything. As I was calling customer service, he returned one more time I guess because his manager contacted him. He didn’t want to tell us what was wrong with the unit even though that’s what $69 fee was for. He said “ IT’S AGAINST COMPANY POLICY SWEETIE.” He was being disrespectful in my own home. He lied and just wanted more money out of us. On his way out, he finally told us the fuses blew out. I just went to home depot to buy the fuses for $10. Something he tried charging me $299 for. So unprofessional and dishonest.

I wouldn't hire this company for anything. Incompetent and over priced. PSEG technician told me that a line jaw inside my meter socket is burned out and I needed to have a licensed electrician to replace the meter socket. I checked Yelp and found the "Gold Medal Service". I checked its website and it states open 24 hours and same day repair. But when I called, it told me that it was booked till Monday. I told them what problem was and the meter socket needed to be replaced. On Monday, a technician came and I told him what the problem is with the meter socket. The technician initially insisted the wires were not good even after I told him about the problems of the jaw line of the meter socket. I particularly asked him the problem with the meter line jaw. He said "no, the meter is good." He still said the meter jaw was good even after I pointed out the one jaw line is open and the rest three were tightly closely. The technician insisted the wire was bad, not the meter line jaw. He gave me the option of replace the wire for $651. In the meanwhile, he tried to sell a membership of $299. I asked him to do the repair. For whatever reason, he told me that he found out the problem is with the meter socket. Then, he said, he had to call his boss to get a quote. Couple minutes later, he said he had the quote in his book. Then, he gave me an estimate of $3800. Then, he tried to sell $299 membership again. I told him it is too much. Honestly, I didn't trust him to do the work. Then, he asked me to pay $158 fee for this investigation fee. I told him there was nothing to investigate. PSEG already told me what the problem was and all I need is a licensed electrician who could offer an decent estimate and ready to start working. I refused to pay the "investigation" fee. I hired another electrician to finish the same work, the cost is less than half Gold Medal Service asked. So I will never use this company.

Tech came and said I need coolant. Kept wanting me to buy a new unit, my unit is only 4 years old. Two days later coolant ran out. He came back and could not figure it out. He finally told me the valve was not work but only after I got angry. Keep wanting me to buy a new unit. Called another company and it was a simple service call. Gold Medal Services charged me over $500. All the care about is making you buy more and more. There tech could have fixed this if they knew what they were doing. A total waste of money and time. Do not use their services. The only reason they even got a star is because they had put something so I can write a review. I wouldn't even give them that. After reading my review they said a customer service manager would call me. It's been over a week and one call from anyone. They probably put that response to make people think they do something about customer's problems. What a joke.

I booked service through Home Advisor and received confirmation email and text for the appointment. My wife took the day off of work to be home for the technician. The morning of I received a call saying they do not service the area I live. No apologies, just monotone repetition. I asked to speak with someone who could talk about compensation for wages lost and the customer service agent hung up the phone. Do not work with this company.

Victor was an ace to have as a plumbing break/fix installer. As a lead, he took responsibility from the job from start to finish - and managed his assistant well. Not easy to do. Gold medal in sales, but not in service...!! It is piece of $### company that is still around only because they are good at capitalizing on people's emergency needs and then sell you plan instead which is same price as 1 time service charge for coming out. Their own technicians said off record, he wouldnt use gold medal, instead buy parts from home depot and diy or call local pros. A flat rate company (that charges $600 for fitting a valve cost me $17 on amazon and 10 min work or tried reselling $300+ plan again to fix their previous technician's lousy job). And when you report issue of technician leaving missing half of inspection points, manager doesn't even bother returning call.

Making appointment was easy. John was great. Did a whole house plumbing inspection and repaired an outdoor leak. He explained everything to me. I was very satisfied with the technician, his work and the prompt service. Unfortunately, they are very high priced. I found out that I could have had the same work done for half the price. Tech came to look our ac unit because it was not blowing cold air. The tech then walked around outside on his cell phone taking a personal phone call, which I heard because I was grilling. When the tech then came in to discuss what he had found after being at my house for 10 minutes, then tells me it would be over 1100.00!! For a valve, which he then told me the part would only cost 180.00! I did not have them do the service but did ask the tech for a business card and he said he would be right back. The tech then sat in his truck having a cigarette and on his cellphone for another 25 minutes and then just drove away never giving me his card!! I had to pay $73.00 for the tech to do absolutely nothing but just give a visual inspection. Needless to say I was extremely dissatisfied. My husband called and a service manager has yet to call him back. Fyi, our ac is fixed and the valve was just loose and needed a recharge.

They sold me there Lennox AC unit. The sales person who came to my house said if anything happens to the unit we are in the same neighborhood and we will come out right away. Shane and Jake were wonderful! They arrived at my home at 9:30 AM and worked diligently into the afternoon! They were both very courteous, and efficient. Not only did they install my new A/C, clean up my house and clean up my yard so nothing was out of place, but I saw Jake arranging gravel around the bottom of the compressor to make it look more esthetic, but Shane took the time to give me a tutorial on the new thermostat and the app. They gave 110% to this effort. I think the experience with Gold Medal has been exceptional from the first meeting with Craig and the technician’s expertise. This is a highly detailed process that requires technicians that give quality work, but with the customer service aspect added it was a very good experience. Thanks Shane, Jake and Craig! The whole process from the original estimate to conclusion went smoothly. The amount of work to be performed was determined, explained, choices of equipment made with no pressure. Exact costs including various rebates and warranty details explained in writing. They came in when they said they would. All job was completed in one session, old equipment picked up. My wife and I literally had the greatest experience with Gold Medal Electric today doing repairs that failed a CO inspection. Chris came over in the morning and I went over the CO inspection report with him so he said that he's handling everything that needs to be done and done correctly he called his employer for a helper to ensure that these issues would be done today. His helper Joe was just as phenomenal as Chris. These guys busted their humps worked very hard and very neat. I would recommend these guys as part of the Backbone asset to ensure that this company Gold Medal Services to hold on for now and grow stronger in the future. Gold Medal used to be very professional and competent a number of years ago. In last couple of years Gold Medal has been not only utterly unprofessional in how they respond to service calls but also in atrocious level of incompetence of their service techs. I needed a number of sinks reconnected in my rental unit last November after installation of granite countertops. What should have been a relatively very simple job turned into a nightmare. The service tech who was assigned to do the job first tinkered with it and then informed me he needs to order some special parts to reconnect the sinks. This should have taken a day or two. I waited for more than a week and the service tech never came back. I placed several calls to Gold Medal to find out what the status of the repair job and could not get any straight answers. The people handling my calls were absolutely indifferent to me and when I asked to speak with the supervisor there was never any available. When I asked for a supervisor or manager name that I could possible address my situation they refused to provide any names as if it was a company secret. Meantime my new tenants were about to move in within a couple of days. I was told that a supervisor will call me back but nobody ever called me. This is how Gold Medal treated a loyal customer of many years and after I spend thousands of dollars giving them business year after year! I was even a Gold Medal member for many years which was supposed to give me a special status! I finally gave up and contacted Weltman Home Services to assist me with the sinks. Weltman arrived the same day I called them and reconnected all the sinks quickly and professionally that day. Their tech was exceptionally professional and courteous. The job was performed at a fair price with warranty of workmanship included. More recently (yesterday) I decided to give Gold Medal another opportunity when air conditioner in one of my rental units stopped working. I called last night and authorized the work after they provided me with standard emergency visit quote. Gold Medal promised to be at the location the same day (last night) but never showed up! When I called today Gold Medal claimed they have no record of my authorization! I would not recommend Gold Medal to my worst enemy. As good as they were years ago that’s how bad they are today. I called Weltman and they are on their way now to resolve the a/c issue at the unit. Gold Medal - NEVER AGAIN!! If I could give zero rating to Gold Medal I would!

Watch your wallet with these guys! Only use if you need immediate assistance. There markup is ridiculous. I presented a valid coupon that they refused to accept. Called the manager to correct and he never called me back. You can get equally competent work from a mom-and-pop operation.

I set up an appointment for HVAC Yearly maintenance. My time window was from 12 PM to 4 PM. I took off work to make sure I was there when Gold Metal arrived. At 4:30 PM and no sign of a tech I called the office. They said the tech was still on a job and when he was done it would take and additional 40 minutes to get to me. If you can't meet a four hour window how good of a company are they. Since they were going to probably be over 90 min late for the 4 hour window promise I cancelled and will definitely not use this company again. All they could say to me is I am sorry. Very frustrated that they didn't inform me of the delay and I only found out by calling them. Very unprofessional way to treat your customers.

READ COMPLETE REVIEW - UNPROFESSIONAL & ARROGANCE . I have been a member with Gold Medal services for last Two years.I found them good on one of the job and Inspired by this - i signed up to being their club member. On August 14th, all of a sudden water from second floor started coming through the ceiling of ground floor and it was lot of water. I called my home insurance and they assigned water mitigation company to come over at our house and start working on drying and removing access water. The assigned company came in right away within an hours and started working. I approached Gold Medal being their member to find out if i had any plumbing issue they might have caused the water damage. They were quite fast in responding and assigned a plumber Mr. Dan Todaro for next day morning. So Next day - technician named Mr. Dan Todaro appears early morning to check on what's going on. And this is where the issue starts. As soon as he entered the home, he saw the water mitigation company's employee working on drying and removing ceiling to get the access to put the dying machine - Dan started advising him on what to do and how to do etc. making the other professional feel awkward. Then Mr. Dan Todaro asked where is the water started coming - we took him on second floor and showed him the area where we have washer. He removes it and starts saying - ohh this is bad washer, it's not good quality etc (while our house is built only fours years back and all the appliances are fairly in good shape as they were installed brand new). He removes the washer out and again starts - Ohh - what kind of installation is this?, where is pan under the washer, who passed the inspection, you can sue the township inspector, this is not done right - etc etc - instead of searching what is the cause of the water leak from washer area. Then he was able to move into drain pipe where he found hair and again started talking loudly - how come this much hair goes in here, what do you do with machine - as if we are the ones who purposely drain only hair thought the drain line behind the washer which is not accessible by us in any ways. So he removes the hair from drain, and left after keeping the washer machine outside so that water mitigation company can dry that area. And He made my wife Sign Three Years Non-cancellable, non-refundable Gold Club Membership eventhough my current year membership is not expired and charged my $532. WHY??? So after about two weeks, he comes back to put the machine back - coming way earlier in morning before his committed time around 7.20 am - when we were sleeping -knocking on the door and left. Dan Todaro comes back next morning - again cursing about machine, about water mitigation company, he puts machine and advising my wife that you can use the machine now, without checking the machine if it's okay to run it. So, the day after on August 28th - we run the machine - and all of a sudden within 10 minutes - water started dripping from all over and started going through all the area which was just finished drying. Panicking with this disaster - i called Gold Medal services and they assigned Mr. Dan Todaro - while he visits next day morning - as soon he enters, he starts talking about - I am not going to be responsible for the damage, you can't blame us, this is ridiculous, while we didn't event say anything to him. We just wanted him to come and check what may have happened to water line or machine that caused the water damage again. He started arguing in most arrogant way with attitude with my wife, not listening to her and cursing left our home leaving the washer in hallway. I called the office and requested to speak with Manager and the lady said i will get call from his Manager. I waited. Didn't hear for another hour or so. Called back again to speak to Manage - again same message - Manager will reach out to me. It's been THREE DAYS AND I HAVE YET TO HEAR FROM THE MANAGER OF DAN TOBARO FOR HIS UNPROFESSIONAL APPROACH TO THE CLIENTS. IS THIS THE STANDARD OF GOLD MEDAL SERVICES?

I moved into a retirement community 8 years ago and little to my knowledge found out that my air conditioning unit was over 30 years old. I had it replaced this year by Gold Medal and I am very happy with the work that was done. They are detailed in their explanations of their service and arrive on time. I made an appointment for maintenance last week for today, Tuesday 12 Pm to 4 PM and got two texts and an email yesterday confirming today's appointment and time. About 1:30 PM, I called to see where my appointment was on the schedule and was first told that it was rescheduled to 6-8 PM tonight. I told the agent, L'Shandra or something like that that I was never notified about being rescheduled. I then spoke with a Carrie who told me my appointment WAS for 12-4 PM. A tech was supposed to call 30 minutes before arrival but again, I never received a call so I called again and spoke with Shea in Dispatch. She told me the tech was running late and it would be closer to 4 PM. Again, no one called or showed so at about 4:20, I called again and spoke with Mark (Dispatch), I told him I had waited all day and had to run a quick errand and would be back by 5PM. It is now 5:20 PM and the tech Martin just called saying he was 50 minutes away! This is service?

SCAM !!! I hired the AC Tune-Up service before summer, expecting to have a basic preventive maintenance done, or at least have any issues to be informed and further addressed. These people are not technicians, they are salespeople. All he said is the equipment is too old and it needs to be replaced. Now it makes sense why this tuneup is only $39-59. It's a bait. THE RESULT: two months later the condenser overflowed, leaking water thru the ceiling due to a clogged drain pipe, something very simple that could've been addressed during the "maintenance". When I called today 07/20/19 the secretary said there would be another fee for them to come over and see what THEY are responsible for. Now I am stuck here with hundreds of dollars in damages. Please stay away form Gold Medal all they are looking for is $$$ new installations.

I am very pleased with the level of service we received from start to finish. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and courteous. Our outside AC condenser was struck by lightning. The parts inside were melted. Thankfully, the repairs should be covered by my homeowners insurance. A repairman (Eric???) saw the damage inside the unit, and let us know a new condenser outside and air coils inside were needed. We were not charged for his trip, because I mentioned that I found Gold Medal through Home Advisor the first time I called. George came to our home on the same day and advised us which parts were needed and wrote out the contract. What really impressed us was George also went to Home Depot, bought two window air conditioners, and installed them for us to use until the installation was completed. (He normally has some with him, but his truck was being repaired.) He also advised that Gold Medal would obtain the needed permit and handle all paperwork to register our warranty. The new unit was installed yesterday. Chris, the lead installer, was very professional, incredibly polite, and thoroughly demonstrated the new thermostat and system components. Precautions were taken to keep our carpet clean, and they cleaned up after themselves. Chris also removed the freon from the old condenser and gave me documentation to show Public Works when I call them to have it removed. He had to leave the old unit with us because we're still waiting for the insurance adjuster to inspect it.

While there was no availability, I made an appointment and waited all day only to learn after I called them, that by 6 pm, there would not be a service call. I waited all day the next day and at 4 pm finally The technician came. The excuse was that they had issue with their phone system....Please...in this day and age!!!!!!

As I business owner I don't like to write negative reviews but this one really aggravated me. I put a request online back in March to have a whole house humidifier installed. Gold Medal was the first to reply so I hired them. The tech was polite and install seemed to have went well, but this is when my experience with this company went downhill. While doing the humidifier I was sold an a/c tuneup service. We knew our unit was older and we were already thinking about replacement in the future, but the tech explained the a/c tune was worth it just to have the filters changed. It took until June before someone was able to come look at the a/c system. He stated he couldn't do anything because the unit was old and needed to be replaced, didn't even change the filters, and said the company would send another individual to give me my options. When I arrived home that evening I went to change the filters myself and found that the ones Gold Medal previously installed back in March were the wrong size and folded over to make fit. The next day a salesman arrived. Not only was he over an hour late, he was rude to my wife when he learned the "decision maker" was not home. My wife and I both co-own the house and make decisions together. We don't need to both be there to get a quote for the ac system. Eventually he came up with a $15,500 quote and because of his tardiness and procrastination caused my wife to miss an important conference call. I contacted Gold Medal and after being transferred to multiple people and playing phone tag got a manager to agree to refund me the price of the a/c tuneup that was never completed. I am now getting my system replaced but went with a family friend who is installing better grade equipment for almost half the price Gold Medal quoted me. Save your money and go with the small guy with a good reputation, not these big guys who don't care about the customer. In conclusion, this would have been a single star review but the humidifier they installed seems to be working well.

My husband and I had an emergency pipe burst due to a lot of rain our area received. We have the only septic tank in our city and because we had so much rain, the field couldn't drain properly and everything went back into our tank and pipes, resulting in the burst. Gold Medal sent someone out and the tech told us he could not do anything to our pipe until our septic tank was emptied out. Understandable. We contacted our tank company and they drained it the next day. My husband called Gold Metal back to have someone come out since we resolved one issue. They told us someone would be out at 2pm. We waited all day and nobody showed up, even with my husband calling every 2 hours to see where the tech was and being told someone was coming. We had no running water due to the pipe burst and we were extremely upset. My husband calls customer service at 11pm (yea, that's how long we waited outside at our firepit). The poor woman on the other line had no clue about our inquiry to the company, no notations or requests were submitted about my husband's appointment that was supposedly scheduled. My husband then told the customer service representative to not bother sending anyone out. We ended up having the President of Roto-Rooter call us back at 1am that night due to us trying to find any company still open and he came out first thing in the morning and fixed our pipe. We have never had such a terrible experience before! If your techs are too busy, just be honest and tell your customers they are better off reaching someone else.

Danny Longo is the man! Gold Medal Service will be my new "go to" company! First plumber charged $125 to unclog a drain and a week later it was clogged again then Roto Rooter quoted $195 for a service call. Driving on the NJ Turnpike this morning I saw a billboard advertising Gold Medal. I read their reviews and figured for $93 it would be worth it. 4 hours later Danny was at my door and 30 minutes after that perfectly clear drain! Danny was professional, polite and even gave us a list of do's and don't. Highly recommended! Thank you!!

Buyer beware. When my furnace gave out, I used this service to buy an allegedly state of the art Lennox HVAC replacement. The heater works. The AC has gone out four times. Each time, a Gold Medal “specialist” has appeared at my home, offering a diametrically opposed opinion to the last specialist: lightening took out my system; the wiring in my home is faulty and the whole house needs the wiring replacing; the last technician miswired the unit (um.. it was a Gold Medal technician?); he thermostat doesn’t work; the system is so advanced it can shut down if there’s an electrical shortage due to weather... the excuses continue. One “master technician” flooded my basement by using my hose to unfreeze the outside unit and then forgot to turn it off. And try getting a manager or warranty expert on the phone. Suddenly they require “48 hours notice” to return calls— and then don’t. Truly, the electricians with this company have NO IDEA what they are doing. DO NOT BE FOOLED. This is an amateur hour, fraudulent company that takes your money, makes he house calls, but cannot install, fix or service the systems it sells you. Learn from me and buy anywhere else.

HVAC system worked fine. I tried being a good homeowner by doing yearly maintenance. Tech said one of my A/C units was low on freon and he could recharge it for $300+. I agreed. I used the unit a week later and now there was no cold air (there was before tech did work). Same tech came back and said the unit now had no freon. He tested for a leak, but said there was none. He wanted another $300+ to recharge and $100+ for a dye pack ($10 online). Maybe there is a leak that stopped. But maybe the tech made an error and didn’t do the refill correctly. The tech offered a discounted rate of $285 for refill and dye pack, but I have enough doubt that I will find a different company. With high prices, a company should stand by their work. In my case, Gold Medal did not. I’ll find someone else who does.

If you've ever seen a deal that sounds "to good to be true", then it most likely is. Case in point the $59.95 A/C "tune-up". It's all over the billboard along the major highways. R410 freon is at $80 a pound and this deal supposedly includes that...as part of the deal! The more questions I asked...the longer the hold times got. I was eventually told I did not "qualify" for a tune-up.

I had a complete replacement of my AC adding a heat pump just yesterday. These guys are truly a first class operation. Yes - you pay a bit more - but after spending the entire day with Tommy and Frank plus the electricians, they are worth it. They arrived exactly at 8AM and stayed until after 7 completely replacing units in my attic and outdoors. Everything was left in better condition than they found it. The old unit in the attic was ancient requiring some real expertise to replace. In fact, the unit they installed was 2 times as large as the old, but they were able to free up more space than I previously had in the attic after installation.

What a bummer. I called them for some plumbing work, and they were great. The tech went above and beyond; this is what service should be like. I even signed up on their membership/maintenance contract. I called them for some electrical work. The electrician was prompt, courteous, and did the work necessary, with no up charging or hard selling. Two for two! Another great tech. I called them for the HVAC checkup. Had to schedule weeks out. Your membership doesnt get you any priority service. Fine. 2 weeks later, the date arrives. 12-5 window. 4-5 window. 5-6 window. Half day wasted. Never mind, we arent coming. Lost a day of work, for nothing. I expected to be put first on the schedule the next day. Nope. Another 2 week wait. I was told, even though i am a member, all new customers with hvac problems take priority over me. Great membership program, if you want a reminder that membership has no privileges. Members aren't a priority. Got a partial refund, so that was good, I guess.

GM replaced an AC system at my home in northern NJ in Spring 2019. At beginning, I hesitated by its low web evaluation but still gave it a try because of its association with Costco. In general GM keeps its promises with descent installation and service. I do not give it 5 stars because its installation failed the 1st town inspection. I would recommend GM if you know the cost range of your job.

After having them install two HVAC units and one hot water heater, I received HORRIBLE customer service today and TERRIBLE communication on 1yr check up. Even after speaking with office supervisor Mark, who promised to call back after looking into my situation, I never heard back from him. I had appointment from 8-12 and no one showed up. A tech called 2pm saying he was on his way and would take him 40 min to get to me. I told him I was available after 4pm. Never heard back either. I called and Supervisor said I was next appointment and tech would be at house shortly after 4. Customer service rep said we were rescheduled for 6-8pm. Bottom line, no one showed up for our appointment and I have no explanations from them. Not even a follow up call. So bad. Would not recommend this company.

The tech showed up, turned the furnace on and off and check if the air was blowing out out and then said ok this is old and needs to be changed. Where was the tune up?
