I have used Bill Gagnon's services several times at my office and was always satisfied with his work, so I decided to use him on my home. Bill came out with his son and did a few ceiling fans and bathroom fan replacements for me. I never felt so unsatisfied with a job and felt my job was rushed through. He came in and put together all the ceiling fans and his son installed them. I found a total of 19 screws within my carpets in each room (brand new screws from the new ceiling fans) when I asked Bill about them he said they were "extra", and my first thought was 19 of them? Then I wondered to myself if you drop a screw, you just leave it there, you don't try to find it and pick it up? My ceiling on my porch is wooden planks, to replace the fan up there his son hacked away at a piece of strapping with I believe looked like a screwdriver to get the new fan to fix and left those pieces of broken wood all over my porch. The fan installed in my bedroom smelled like it was burning and the base was warm after running for about 1/2 hour. I called Bill and he said that the motor must be bad and I need another one. I went and purchased another one and Bill came out a couple days later and replaced the motor of the fan and then that one was still burning smelling and warm to touch. I called Bill and asked him about it and he said must be another bad motor? I said two bad motors in two brand new fans? So I asked him if it could possibly be the wires in my ceiling and he said no. I asked him what should I do I can't use my fan and his response, "I don't know what to tell you", really???? I texted him after stewing on this for a week or so and told him how disappointed I was with him and told him I had to hire someone to fix his work thinking maybe he would try to make good somewhere and his response? NOTHING, totally ignored my text. His work was awful and his policy for taking care of a job site is messy, I spent 3 hours cleaning up after they left between, lost screws and insulation from the ceiling throughout my house from him. I wish I didn't pay him cash because I would have stopped payment until he made good on his job.

I asked Gagnon's electric to help me with appliance installation and recess as well as pendant lights for the kitchen. After everything was done, I have holes in my ceilings and walls and dent in my new appliance. I had given the measurement, and yet lights had to be re-arranged, hook up for the oven had to be re-arranged, and I am left with nothing but big holes everywhere. And then came back and basically said that I was being done a huge favor. I don't want good folks in Nashua to go through what I went through. Please avoid. Pricey, with lots of attitude and an unfinished job.

My Daughter shorted out one of our outlets in her bedroom, I couldn't seem to figure out which circuit breaker was the issue. I called Gagnon Electric around noon on a Saturday, Bill answered and said he could be onsite in half an hour. He was right on time. He quickly found the issue and fixed it within 10 minutes. While he was here I asked if he could help with a few lighting switch problems we were having with 3 way and 4 way switches. These guys are awesome! I had an issue with no power to any of my kitchen lights for a one-month period that Bill and team his easily fixed. They were very pleasant, extremely competent and professional. I initially thought that the problem was a burnt out wire within the walls that would require the walls to be torn up but Bill applied logical trouble methods and was able to identify/fix the problem with no intrusion. They even carved time out of their busy schedule to accommodate my no-notice request to install an additional electrical outlet. An overall, great value for your money--definitely recommend! P.S. He showed up with Sean, and within 5-10 min the problem was diagnosed and on it's way to being solved. Because of Bill and his team at Gagnon's, my family has heat again, on a day that the high temp was 5 deg F! Bill is now definitely my go to electrician for everything. The department could not recommend a company by law but once I mentioned “Bill Gagnon” I was told by the fire fighters that they can’t recommend but could only say that I make a great choice using Gagnon. Gagnon came out within 15 minutes of my call and put his dinner and family time on hold to help a business in need. Eversource pulled the meter which created an additional obstacle but Bill Gagnon remained professional, confident and reliable through the entire process. He was out first thing the next morning with his son, also a licensed electrician. And the two of them spent a good 4 hours installing a new panel, Pulled a permit and assisted not only with the eversource work order but also gave us some much needed guidance in how the insurance claim process would work. Our business was able to be up and running within 24 hours of this unfortunate event and I know it wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the professional folks at Gagnon Electric led by Mr. Bill Gagnon. Thank you!

The only thing good I can say is that they showed up on time for estimate. Man who introduced himself as Bill acted like he did not want to be there. When we started showing him what we wanted done he kept asking "is that all"? Over and over. Promised to get us estimate in a few days. It has been a few weeks and never heard from him. I would have called back to see what happened, but I did not get a good feeling about this company right from the beginning.

Bill and Sean do great work at a fair price. I've worked with them on extensive work on a new house purchase and down the road on small issues like fixture replacement, always good work and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.
