Daren was great! He was on time, even put on booties, before coming in to the house. I had problems with my kitchen sink draining very slowly. He not only fixed my sink problem, but also fixed my washing machine. The water would back up in my basement sink and I would have to dump the water each time while washing clothes. I did not even mention this to him, but he asked me about it and volunteered to fix it on the spot. Now, instead of having to drain my basement sink twice for each load, I can now spend my time multitasking by doing other things. Another plumber would have told me that he does not have time to fix another problem on the same visit. I would have had been told to call again for another trip and additional service charge, but not Daren. He is a one stop shop for one trip, not additional trips like other plumbing companies I have had in the past. Keep up the good work!!!

Our Burton experience was great from start to finish. I called to get an inspection and cleaning service for my furnace before I turned it on this year. The service representative at Burton was very kind and had a great personality. She scheduled the technician for the next day. The day the technician was to arrive, I received a call from Burton early in the morning stating the time he will arrive. Within the time frame, the technician arrived, introduced himself, and started to work on my furnace. He was very knowledgeable about the unit and spoke to me about a few concerns he sees over his time. He started up my furnace and ensured it was working properly for this year as well as my humidifier. I will absolutely call Burton back for any and all heating and air conditioning needs.

I bought my house last year and have had Burton out for a few visits for replacing and unclogging pipes. I thought they were a bit higher priced, but they are very polite and timely. They unclogged a bathroom sink 2 months ago and its already clogged again. Nothing strange went down the drain, they simply didn't unclog it deep enough and pushed the clog down. They have no guarantee of their work, you have to purchase any warranty or guarantee separately. I don't really know how they offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed, I guess they just charge you extra for that.

I can't seem to find my original complaint, so I'll write a new one. STORY 1: A few months ago, while it was still cold, we noticed our heat wasn't working. We're part of the Gold program, or whatever BS they sold us, so we should have gotten quick service. It took Burton a full day to get here. The tech then "serviced" our heater, and didn't turn it back on. Then Burton took ANOTHER 2 days to come out and turn the heater back on. It got so cold in our house, our baby had to sleep in bed with us those nights. STORY 2: This last month, our water heater stopped working. Burton wanted $2000 to put in a new one. We found someone else to do it better for $1100, and Burton still charged us for the service call. STORY 3: We had a stopped up pipe in our house. Burton sent 2 different guys out to fix it. $550 later, the problem was not fixed, and we had a big hole in our dry wall. Not only that, we now had a leaking sink, and it wasn't leaking before. It dripped water all over our wooden bathroom cabinet for 3 days. Burton wanted $2300 to fix the pipe, and that was NOT going to cover the drywall repair. We had a better company in town fix the pipe for $980. STORY 4: On the last 1 star review I left, that's gone now, the owner left his number to call to discuss the poor review. I've called him twice now, and left 2 voicemails. No call back. Terrible company.

Our air conditioner went out during some of the hottest days last week, and without being able to afford a new unit at this time, we wanted to make sure the person who came to our house wouldn’t try to pitch us a bunch of products. When Chris, the technician, came for our appointment, he could not have been nicer and more knowledgeable! He took a look at our unit and very thoroughly explained what the issues are, of which there are many since it is an older unit. Chris was extremely understanding, compassionate, engaging, and friendly throughout the entire appointment. He presented all of the options, but in the end was able to accommodate the limited amount of repair we could afford at the time. We will definitely recommend and use Burton again based on this exceptional service experience. We are going to need a new unit sooner than later, and we know where we will start our search. Got railroaded for a huge bill on a service that should have been much less expensive, and the technician was super aggressive with my customer. Very unprofessional. He even made a wager with me about causation for the problem. Of course he was wrong, and then had no integrity and put it on the homeowner. Easy to make a bet when you’re wagering someone else’s money.

Since moving to Nebraska three years ago I've been using Burton to take care of my air conditioner and furnas. As it turns out, the central air unit needed replaced and the furnas was starting to rack up repair costs so the decision was made to replace it. Frank explained why, what some options were and showed me the problems so I could make an informed decision and not under pressure. They are strong on positive customer experiences. The only issue that has ever come up was quickly resolved. That's what keeps me coming back. Customer satisfaction is their driving force.

had them out to quote a new flange for a toilet - and stuck with a 65 dollar inspection fee. Their quote was 1500 to replace the flange and mount the toilet- and over 3k to put in a new toilet? I called another place and they came out the same day and did the job for 198$ for the exact same thing. I won't be calling them again- they may do nice work but their pricing is unreasonable - so feel like I got nothing for the 65$ fee except a ridiculous quote. Will not use again

The service guys were prompt, polite and efficient. I was offered five different options for replacing my hot water heater and one was close to what we had budgeted (though more than twice what we paid eight years ago). Some of our plumbing was not up to code, so they fixed it and that may have contributed to the increased cost. They sent a plumber, not a salesman, and the job was completed the same day. I would use them again.

Burton put very little value on my time as a person and even less value on me as a customer as a result. I was made to feel as though I didn't matter as a customer. I scheduled a minor repair to a pipe to take place 5 days in advance of the work. I also emphasized the significance of ensuring the work was done in the morning. When the day of the work arrived, I had to take a day of vacation to be home during the process. I even called first thing in the morning to confirm that someone would be coming to my house to perform the work sometime from 8 to noon. At 11:00, I received a call telling me the time frame was no longer doable and was given four different excuses at different times throughout the call as to why. The person I spoke to seemed more adept at jumping in and making excuses than offering solutions. When options were finally discussed, none of which worked with my schedule without having to take yet another day of vacation. As a customer, I feel like I did all the things I could for the experience to go smoothly by giving plenty of advance notice, calling to confirm...I even had everything moved away from the area around the pipe and a clean and clear path to the work area. I know I said it earlier, but Burton made me feel like I did not matter as a customer. Under no circumstances would I recommend the company or its services.

Losing a/c during the hottest part of the year, and my fiance at work (me home alone), caused a lot of anxiety. I must have called 10 other places and Burton was the only company able to come right away in the morning. Frank was incredible. He explained the unknown to me, was extremely polite and courteous. Normally I'm not one to complain, but, recently Burton was at my place to repair certain parts in my AC system, but what should've taken them a day ..took them nearly two weeks. That's not all..when I came home from work, I found they had LEFT MY LIGHTS ON..the next day they had left my OVEN on.. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL ABOUT? You would think it wouldn't take much effort to use is their fingers to flick a switch or turn or turn a knob. To top it all off I came home the third day to find but they had damaged my mirror in the hallway presumably from a ladder, one thing is for certain, in the future BURTON won't be getting any business from me. .

We called on Friday to have our furnace checked, they couldn't get anyone in until monday at the earliest. The tech Jake W was there first thing in the AM to quickly diagnose my furnace problem. He was quick, personable, and clean with his work, he even put his booties on before coming in which I've never had anyone do. Great service on the initial phone contact as well as the service visit. This was an after hours call, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Jason quickly diagnosed the problem though and had the parts on hand to fix it. He was in and out in less than an hour, but it was money well spent for some peace of mind. This past winter I paid for the service contract. Technician came out to inspect furnace and was told it would be $1100 in repair to keep it running even though it was running fine and he was was here just for an inspection. I declined and the tech was on his way. About a week later I noticed more and more dust in the house I went down to look and the tech left the filter out. I grabbed the new filter he left by the unit and went to put it in, it was the wrong size. Went and got a new one. It was the end of the day when the tech was here. Probably wanting to get home and spaced the filter. I let is slide we have all been there. Skip forward to today. Called at 11:30 am today for a water heater repair no hot water and pilot light won’t stay lit. I was told there was a wait list but someone would be out today. No repair by 4pm I called asking if I was still getting service. Was told yes they are running behind. Called again at 7:30 pm and asked again if I was still on the list. She checked with dispatch and was told yes someone will be calling. It is now 12:01 am. Just called and the lady apologized. She looked thru the notes and stated the tech tried calling me. Had my phone with me every minute and waited all day. Not one single call from anyone. Now waiting for a call back as she is getting a hold of tech again. I don’t expect a call. We have family In town and we will all be taking cold showers in the morning.

First of all, when I've needed repair, they have always been available. The "emergency" fee is higher, but worth it. I bought a full system, 0% interest. It was installed as scheduled by respectful professionals who cleaned up and assisted in setting instructions. An overall pleasant experience and the system works great!
