So I had a non emergency appointment to fix my furnace. The technician showed up right on time. He said my ports were dirty and could clean them for 99 dollars. That didn't fix it so he found a bad pressure switch, but didn't have the exact one on the truck. He charged 258 dollars for the switch and installation plus another 69 dollars to come back. After doing some research I found out the part goes for 95 dollars, installation is two screws, takes less then a minute. He did put in a similar temporary switch to keep it working. When I called the company to talk to the manage about prices, Doug was always in a meeting and never returned my calls. The average price in the Twin cities is 314 to 448 for repairs parts and labor. The technician called me back and said there prices are set and are needed to cover their costs like the big vans they drive. My total cost was well over 500 dollars. Installation should reflect the actual labor involved.I won't be using them to install my AC.

Dishonest, poor quality work, damaged electrical, poor layout, crushed flex ducts with HVAC install. Allowed our builder to misappropriate our payment to other jobs on their books then tried to seek further money from us. Leslie, I have before, in fact your Chief Operations Officer Jim was on the last email that stated your position of NO support "outside of warranty". Although, MN state Statutes differ for damaged caused by your work, but that is another issue. This is my first Google review ever, not here to position myself or gain anything, just want people to understand your potential ethics and quality. You have taken advantage of me and my family and allowed others in the building community to operate unethically as well. I will pay others in the coming weeks to fix the electrical issues. Very happy with our new furnace. Brad Link is a knowledgeable and friendly salesman. I appreciated his integrity in not trying to sell us on the most expensive model but on finding us the right fit for our home. The installers were courteous and professional. They were respectful of my home and improved the duct layout leaving me with a more efficient furnace and more efficient space in my basement. It’s not the cheapest company but well worth the investment!

Was not truly satisfied with the duct cleaning. The guys were nice, but the work seamed rushes. They left a lot of dust on a few surfaces that could have been cleaned up. And a few of the vents still have a bunch of stuff in the grates.

Air Mechanical will nickel and dime you. Was looking for installing a 40 gallon gas water heater, the sales guy couldn’t stop talking about this pipe maintenance program. $2400 w/o maintenance plan or $1900 with maintenance plan. All I wanted was a ballpark figure for a water heater. The sales guy wouldn’t let me talk. Go somewhere else for water heaters.

The folks at Air Mechanical were a class act. The initial visit to estimate the effort went very long at 2 hrs. He was very patient going thru his estimate and I went thru what I wanted to get done in addition to the HVAC replacement. The AM workers on site were on time, polite, very well mannered and well organized. The completed work looked real fine and well thought out. The walkthrough was thorough and he was patient with my questions. No question I would go back to Air Mechanical.

After getting a few quotes for just furnace and AC, Chris Arneson came out and spent a great amount of time to explain everything clearly and honestly. He was precise and patient while making sure we were comfortable with what we needed.
