We have done business with Bratcher Electric since January 2016 at which time they took over the maintenance of our generator and that of my mother's. They have always provided polite, on-time, professional service, and we have always rated them a 5-star business. Last night (after business hours) they again proved their professionalism when my mother's power went out, and much to our surprise her generator did not go on. The owner returned our call within 5-10 minutes and had a service person out within an hour. The culprit - a battery which tested fine at our six month performance check. Bratcher had my mother's generator up and running within 25 minutes of arriving. Bratcher has earned their 5 star rating!

I have had a great experience with Bratcher. They installed a generator for us about 8 years ago and did an excellent job with that. With their affordable maintenance program our generator had worked exactly as it was supposed to every time the power has gone out.

Our generator needed major repair. The owner came over to give us a quote and explained exactly what needed repaired. The price was 1/2 of what the Kohler factory representative charged. They came out and charged $700+ to fix a few wires that the mouse chewed and it still didn't work. Thank you Bratcher. We are also on a schedule with them to check it out every year.

Wish I could put no stars. Have done a lot with this company and called last fall to get the proper electrical setup for my pool. Last work in November, they were supposed to call and schedule something for the spring. No call back, no we will call you in April, no this is what we have left to do. Told me they would call the city, no call, no inspection. Now it is May 1, I have a pool to open but can't, landscaping that needs to be fixed, and have no idea if stuff is done. Have tried NUMEROUS times to get a call back and nothing! Don't call them!

I had water pooled in my electric box and I thought it was a leak on my roof. I called Bratcher, who I have used prior. They told me a lot of times the water comes from a frayed wire in my meter box outside... they were correct. Not only did the guys do a great job they were very thorough and efficient! I can now sleep soundly again!

I had the privilege of meeting Mr Bratcher who visited my home for electrical work. Mr Bratcher was respectful of me and of my home, The next day Karen from the office called with the price and went over in full detail of the work that was being done after speaking with her and agreeing with price and job Mr Bratcher had his crew out in 3 days. The guys that did the work showed me everything along tbe way making sure it was just the way I wanted it. The crew was extremely professional and I felt they treated my home and property like it was their own personal property, one of the crew members even took time to polish of my washer and dryer because they was working above it. These guys did an amazing job and did it in the most professional way possible treating me and my home as if I was getting the white glove services. I want to share my Bratcher experience with people who are considering hiring an electrical contractor, because mine was, in no way good! I got the indirect recommendation from 'The Inside Outside Guys' (local handyman radio program in Detroit, because everybody in the Detroit area knows about the show and I'm anything but electrically acute!!) website. I met with the owner and went over everything that I was looking for. I received a call from their secretary/office gal named Karen a few days later. She verbally listed out what sounded like the majority of the items that I discussed with the owner and I asked her to email me a copy of the estimate so that I could look it over and discuss it with my wife who was unable to be at the meeting. Karen also told me that the price was Six hundred and some change, so I restated my request for a copy of the estimate. Fast forward a few days, I'm out of town, walking into a closing on a new home and I receive a call from my son, who was watching the house, asking me if we hired electricians, because there were a couple at the door. At that point, I have not received the requested estimate, but I told my son to allow them to go ahead. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Whoever (two guys) they sent was there for around an hour and I still have undone work. When I got back in town, I followed up with Karen and asked about the items that were not completed and inquired as to why she never complied with my request for a detailed copy of the work to be done. She said that she'd have Mike, the owner, call me back to discuss. There's a bill for $647.00 in my mail pile and nothing else by way of communication. I've got an installed, grounded outlet for my stove, a CO2 detector and a portion of a drop ceiling cut out, so that I can have an electrician gain access to the service if it needs to be worked on. Very, very disappointed!
