Every aspect of working with Northern Lights was a pleasure, from getting an estimate to completing the job. They answered all my questions completely. They were very knowledgeable and experienced. The price was competitive and less expensive than others. They were actually able to complete the work a week ahead of schedule. The quality of the work was excellent. Highly recommend.

politely enough, i was told in writing "we are too busy" for a wiring job for recessed lighting in a living room. literally turned me down with cash in hand looking to hire an electrician. my guess is these guys only want big money jobs. yeah sure, i guess they are residential if you mean they want to wire an entire new neighborhood from the ground up. but apparently they wont bother with anything smaller it seems. guess i'll take my cash elsewhere

Norther Lights Electric arrived on time, in fact called to say they might be a little early and was that okay? They arrived and got right to the work. They installed wires on the roof and did it quickly and neatly. We needed more wire than we had pre-paid for through Angie's list (which we expected) and the extra fee for more wire was minimal and was no problem. The came prepared with whatever they needed just in case they ran into any problems. They installed plug boxes for out side as well and were done early. Now we don't have to worry about ice dams next year. I would hire them again for any Electrical job needed. Scheduling was easy and the people in the office are friendly and make it a pleasure to call. Great customer service all around!

Got to give 5 stars today. I had an appointment for 7am this morning. We just got 2 feet of snow. The electricians were early,neat,friendly and shoveled my walkway and half the driveway. This is the second time I've used them and so far so good. The prices are competitive and all the work has been great. I have had 8 recessed lights installed,various outlets and switches replaced,exterior lighting installed and new service completed by these guys. Great experience, i will continue to use them for all of my electrical needs.

They installed new lights for us, mounted TVs, and ran TV cables. Very professional, clean, fast. A bit pricey, which is the only reason I took off a star, but we were happy with the work and will use again

They still have not finished the job but I can already say that I am pretty unhappy with this company. 1. They called me at 6:30am on the day of the appointment threatening to keep my 150$ if they could not start the job that was supposed to start at 9am 2. They did not use a cloth on top of my wooden floors, or well... as you can see in the pic, there is a cloth but useless. 3. They tried to use bleach to clean my wooden floors after the job. 4. They did not finish the job on the day and I had to wait almost 3 weeks for them to come back to finish what they started. In the meantime my house renovations were on pause. 5. Again, for the second visit they were not willing to give me a later appointment than 7am. 6. The job was about $500 higher than budgeted. I understand that there are some things that cannot be predicted... but still, not happy with this. 7. They replaced my electric panel and used a new one that is double in size than my older one and most of it not in use. Apparently it is cheaper a bigger panel than a smaller one. Well, I paid over $2000 for the move of that panel and size matters. It is pretty bad that they save money this way. Overall very dissatisfied, an unhappy costumer and I would not hire again.

I worked with Northern Lights Electric on a few projects around my house: replacing eyeball recessed lights with actually recessed lights, installing a bathroom vent fan and light, installing a new circuit panel (the original panel was overloaded), and a couple other smaller projects. They arrived promptly to ensure they could get all of the work done in one day. The team was very friendly and professional. I was working from home, so they would give me a heads up whenever they had to shut off power to ensure that anything I was working on wouldn’t be lost. The team was also great about being flexible when it came to setting the appointment. My schedule is crazy and so is theirs (they’re in high demand because they’re great!), and it’s tough to reach me by phone, so we coordinated most everything via email, which was very convenient. The overall experience was great from beginning to end. The work looks great and I am so happy to have these updates in place. I’ve also worked with them on previous projects and had an equally positive experience, so I can confirm that the quality of work and their professionalism is consistent. I will definitely be using them again. I would recommend them to anyone!

Never hired them for any work but wow are they maniacs driving down route 1. Looked to see if there was a “hows my driving” number on the vehicle but there wasn’t. Whoever is driving P96803 at 5am on 8/22 is ridiculous. Unnecessary, even made me come write this review.

Northern Lights have done a couple of jobs for us and have done a super job. They have done an array of jobs from fixing outlets and installing a dryer vent to re-doing the wiring in our new bathroom including the installation of a 20amp dedicated circuit. I have very happy with their work, their professionalism, their promptness and their prices. They have continued to do a fabulous job for us and we will continue to use them in the future.

All around a great experience. Vin was able to come over and give us a quote in a reasonable amount of time. Very responsive over email as well. Stephen and Nick arrived early for the job and got right to work. They were polite and courteous in the home and really showed a strong work ethic. I couldn’t even convince them to take a lunch break! Really impressed with the work and the explanations after. Glad to have them as my electricians going forward. Also, their quote was much better than the other two companies I had come out. And of course, their work passed inspection!
