Our experience with Giroux was by far one of the best over many contractors we've hired the last few years! Billy returned my call promptly and had a team ready to come out the next morning, which was convenient for my tenant. They were on time (even a bit early!) and Michael explained everything to us to make sure we understood the issue and was comfortable with the suggested fixes. Both electricians were very professional, friendly and informative. The communications throughout the process with Billy was fluid; he was very responsive and professional. I highly recommend and will be working with Giroux again!

I was quoted $1,140.00 for the installation of kitchen under cabinet lighting and a switch by Billy Demaria. This quote included labor. On the day of the installation, three electricians arrived including Billy. One may have been an apprentice. I indicated to him that I wanted a Lutron Cassetta internet capable switch and slave switch installed for the internet lighting. Billy went out to purchase the switches while the other 2 worked on the installation. Billy returned in an hour with the switches. Billy installed the main switch but was unable to install the slave switch because as luck would have it, my internet went out that day. I mentioned to Bill that as long as he was there, would he install 2 Nest Thermostats I had previously purchased. The under cabinet lighting was installed within 4 hours and was operating on the main switch. Billy and his crew attempted to install the thermostats but they were incompatible with my furnace. This took approximately an additional 90 minutes. Billy returned on another day to complete the installation of the slave switch which took approximately 15 minutes. I was charged an additional $960.00 or 85% more than the original estimate for a total of $2,100.00. The additional amount was comprised of $520.00 for the switches and the balance was for labor. I asked Billy for a break and I indicated I understood that I would be charged an additional amount for the switches and an additional amount for labor but not 85% more than the original estimate. I researched the cost of the switches and they were $200.00 on Amazon. Billy refused to take anything off the price. I believe I was overcharged. I was disappointed that Billy would not work with me on the additional amount charged. The owner later called and we subsequently resolved the issue.

There work I’m not sure of but there drivers are completely unexceptionable, their driver tailed me the whole way home almost hit my vehicle with my 4 kids in the car then when I got out of the car and told him to stop driving so close to me said what happens if the person I front of me slams on their brakes, he said well don’t drive so slow or slam your brakes. Complete jerk then I pulled off and he peeled out and almost hit me again. People drive so dangerous and don’t realize the danger they put people through not to mention my 4 kids in the car unbelievable. I will make sure everyone I know does not use this company EVER..

I've hired Giroux Electrical Contractors several times to work on my home. A few years ago, they installed a back-up generator inlet and a safety interlock for the generator. On a separate occasion, I had them install lighting and outlets in my garage. Their work was neat and clean- they ran wires in the basement behind a tongue and groove ceiling that required some cutting and refitting to the tiles and they were so precise that you could not tell the panels had been removed and replaced. The generator inlet works great, and the safety interlock provides peace of mind. Just recently, we hired GEC again to install an electric vehicle charging station in our garage and to wire our newly-installed swimming pool pump, heater and salt generator. The installation was complicated by the fact that our main electrical panel was on the exact opposite side of the property from the pool and garage install locations. Billy provided clear estimates and helped us make some construction decisions to best fit our needs. Each crew that came out (Jay, Bob, and others) were very professional, friendly, were neat and did an excellent job. Through each of our four projects, some small and some large, we've been very happy with the service provided by Giroux Electrical Contractors. We highly recommend the Giroux team!
