The Service Technicians were very professional and knowledgeable as well as friendly. I needed a new chandelier hung in an open foyer and the one technician quickly went about working to hang the new fixture while the other performed a 10 point inspection of my electrical system. This was probably the best thing they did during there visit since he found safety issues which need to be addressed. While I'm not much of an electrician, it was easy to see the issues after the technician pointed out the problem. They examine things most people do not check on a regular basis or are not even aware of the fact that it can be an issue. Overall I am very pleased with the work I had done and intend to have them correct some of the issues they found. The way they presented their quote made it easy to prioritize the future work I will have done because they outlined what they saw as critical versus what was acceptable for when the house was built (1977) but not up to current code.

What a blessing to have confidence in a company that will come when you call and leave you with satisfying results. Our first time using Chad with Tim Kyle was when our power went out to our refrigerator microwave and washer. It could have been a disaster, but Chad came in a timely manner and somehow temporarily restored electricity to a worn out 1950’s circuit panel until he could get back and repair the permanent solution. I normally feel uncomfortable and unsafe with strangers in my home; Chad was polite and respectful and when he came back to bring the permanent solution, he brought Justin with him who helped him out. It was a huge job. I now have 2019 electrical system in my “1950’s Great Bones house”. I am so thankful for the professionalism of Chad and Tim Kyle Electric. All the work is guaranteed. In the future, if I need any additional electrical installations, we will avail ourselves to Chad at Tim Kyle Electric.

The storm took caused a tree to take out my power cable Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Friday morning walking the dog, I broke my ankle rolling on debris on the road. Between urgent care and doctors, I called 5 electric companies with no response on Friday. Friday evening I was referred to Tim Kyle electric and their emergency number. They responded right away but explained, after looking at my pictures, that it was a two man job that would need to be the first thing Tuesday morning. Thankfully my great neighbors helped me with an extension cord, food, and other things waiting for the 5th day to get power. BG&E had already disconnected the power, the guys got the job completed by 1:00. This job required a permit and inspection before BG&E would reconnect. In emergencies like mine they would reconnect with just the permit number. This was our only snag as Tim Kyle Electric was trying to get a number but didn't have them as county computer down. BIG BIG thanks to Betty with BG&E she made calls, got it approved, and even called me back to see if I was all set up OK!!!! Power on by 5:00 Tuesday...oops HVAC not working....another story.

I needed an electrician and called Time Kyle Electrical Service. A fuse in my breaker box kept popping. This particular fuse also controlled the water heater. They told they could not see for several days - I told them I would call them back if I could not find anyone. Thirty minutes later - I got a call telling me there had been a cancellation and they could be there in the morning. To take the time and call me back floored me. Ben and Aaron arrived within the window I was given. They called telling me an ETA. My house is a 1968 house with some unique features. The house only has 5 fuse panels - small shed has a fuse panel - and the barn has a fuse panel. They had to trace the fuse. In doing so the water pump for the outside water was in the barn. The pump was in a hole about 5 1/2'. My Doberman was running around and ran into the hole. With their assistance they helped me get him out (he was not hurt). They were professional - quoted work before anything began - and gave me a plan A and plan B. The quote they gave me did not change when the work was completed. Ben even showed me the work they did and the damaged breaker. Tim Kyle Electrical Service has become my go to when I need an electrician. I will ask for Ben and Aaron again. It's nice to see that Customer Service does exist.

If there was an ability to give Tim Kyle Electric 10 stars i would. I hired Tim Kyle to install an emergency fail over breaker panel with an exterior 240 inlet in order to run sections of my house off of a gas generator. 1. Jon and Tim showed up promptly at the scheduled time of arrival and were very professional from every aspect of the job. 2. Neat and Clean. They treated my home as if it was their own. They laid down drop cloths, wore booties over their shoes and was not a speck of debris on any surface when they left. 3. The work they performed was outstanding. Being a DIY guy, i asked a lot of questions from a curiosity and learning perspective and they answered every single one with a smile. 4. The original estimate was spot on to the final charge 5. The company as a whole was incredibly responsive, polite and accommodating; from the person answering the phone, to Ryan answering an email, to Jon and Tim performing the work. This is an amazing company and would recommend them to anyone (in fact i already have less than 24 hours later after the job was finished) and would hire them 100 times over. The fact that i no longer have to worry about extensive power outages with two baby girls is a HUGE relief. My husband and I called Tim Kyle Electrical Service because we wanted to replace/update 2 recessed light fixtures in a 14-foot-high ceiling. A service appointment was scheduled for later that week. Our service technician, Kenn Steen, arrived as scheduled. Kenn was polite, knowledgeable and professional - exactly what we would expect from this company. We had recently had our ceiling painted, and when Kenn removed the old fixtures he was concerned that the new trim collars might be a bit smaller and reveal the unpainted area. When we told him we still had the can of paint, he offered to paint the small area covered by the previous trim! One of the fixtures was very unusual and a specific brand. Kenn checked and found that it was available at an electrical supply about 10 miles from our house. After returning from picking it up, Kenn painted a second coat around the openings in the ceiling, and then finished installing the fixtures. Everything looks beautiful and works properly. Jack and Chad came today to install landscape path lighting at my home. They also replaced a loose inside light switch. When finished those two projects, they recommended, but did not push, that my husband and I replace the outdated smoke alarm in our home. We immediately realized the importance and decided to have all of our detectors replaced. Jack and Chad installed three new sealed smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. These new detectors have a 10 year life and a battery that lasts a lifetime (that means not having to replace batteries every quarter, what a time saver). Also, the new detectors are alarm and also voice alert based where a spoken message will alert occupants of the reason for the alarm be it smoke or carbon monoxide. The gentlemen gave us an estimate before starting the projects. We highly recommend Tim Kyle Co. Inc. Electrical Service! When it comes to electrical work, we wanted the best!

Had sudden onset of continuous alarm type noise in bathroom this morning which I was unable to resolve or explain. There was no smoke or anything that seemed to suggest an emergency. I thought that it must be electric, possibly related to the bathroom fan. I called to see if someone could come soon to help me with this problem. I was warmly greeted by the person answering my call (Lauren?) and after a few minutes, she assured me that she could get someone to my house in the next couple of hours and the service man arrived in about 1 1/2 hours. Ben carefully checked everything related to the electrical system and after a few minutes checked the commode, identifying the problem! While here he did the annual electrical safety inspection, repairing one switch. This saved me the visit scheduled for next week. Ben also provided me with some general safety and maintenance information while here. Great service from both employees with this organization!

I had recently purchased a foreclosure that had a small laundry list of electrical issues to resolve, and they were able to complete 85% of all issues on the first visit! (The remaining 15% were bigger issues that required specialized parts- i.e. replacing a bathroom fan, replacing an electric panel. Very understandable that these aren't items kept in a truck at all times.) The service we received from Aaron Baker today was nothing less than stellar. Our home experienced a huge power surge due to a transformer fire in our area. As a result, many items in our home were lost and our power remained partially out. Aaron arrived promptly (called me to tell me he would be early) and was extremely professional and resolved everything with precision and patience. I just had my first experience with Tim Kyle Electrical Service and they were extremely professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. They called me a day in advance to confirm the appointment and also on their way over the next morning. Chad and Kenn arrived on time and were friendly, courteous and professional. Everything was discussed up front before they began the project so there were no surprises at the end when payment was due. Chad and Kenn did a great job and I will definitely be using them again in the future for my electrical needs. Thanks!

Had sudden onset of continuous alarm type noise in bathroom this morning which I was unable to resolve or explain. There was no smoke or anything that seemed to suggest an emergency. I thought that it must be electric, possibly related to the bathroom fan. I called to see if someone could come soon to help me with this problem. I was warmly greeted by the person answering my call (Lauren?) and after a few minutes, she assured me that she could get someone to my house in the next couple of hours and the service man arrived in about 1 1/2 hours. Ben carefully checked everything related to the electrical system and after a few minutes checked the commode, identifying the problem! While here he did the annual electrical safety inspection, repairing one switch. This saved me the visit scheduled for next week. Ben also provided me with some general safety and maintenance information while here. Great service from both employees with this organization!

Justin and Bruce were phenomenal to work with. I had recently purchased a foreclosure that had a small laundry list of electrical issues to resolve, and they were able to complete 85% of all issues on the first visit! (The remaining 15% were bigger issues that required specialized parts- i.e. replacing a bathroom fan, replacing an electric panel. Very understandable that these aren't items kept in a truck at all times.) Both were courteous and professional, and were able to discuss with me all of my opinions and their recommendations prior to beginning work. Considering the extensive list of updates needed, the price seemed fair, and all of the work completed was of the highest quality. 5/5, definitely would use again (but hopefully won't need to!)

He even stuck around while we called BGE in case they had any questions we weren't able to answer. Everyone I've spoken to in the office has been super nice and helpful as well. Highly recommended!
