I scheduled the work for the following week, and Dimas delivered flawlessly. (Courteous techniques like holding the vacuum near the drill bit to proactively keep everything clean were very much appreciated.) Got Electric now gets my first phone call when I need an electrician.

We needed a large flat screen TV along with 2 new ceiling fans installed. Put my name in on the gotelectric website, they emailed me back as i had asked them to do the same day. Absolutely outstanding -- and quite simply one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. On a Sunday morning I made the mistake of trying to reset a busted outlet by flipping the master circuit breaker, and in so doing I ended up shutting off all electricity to our home. I was a bit panicked and not sure how my wife and I and our two young kids were going to manage a Sunday with no power, at which point I made the best decision I've made in weeks: I called Got Electric. To my incredible fortune, I was able to reach the owner, Grant, on his cell phone. To say that Grant was helpful is an extreme understatement. He listened patiently to my issue, asked me to send him a few pictures, and then called me back to talk me through a solution. Within minutes, my power was restored and my stress turned into gratefulness. I insisted on paying Grant for his time -- and for bothering him on a Sunday morning -- but he politely refused, insisting that he was just glad to be able to help. Needless to say, the expertise and customer service provided by Grant is the stuff of dreams. Truly the best.

The electrician who answered the phone (Jason) was good and scheduled the electric appointment relatively fast basically within 2 days. The electrician who came to our home, however, was not happy to be here to install the light. His demeanor was not so pleasant and he kept telling us that the switch is old and this is old etc. He really was not happy to do the work at all. He over charged us with bill big time. His time was an hour and a half but he charged us for two hours and it was not like we were promised by Jason who said it would be $176 for the one hour and the second hour was $160 but it will charged in an increment of quarter hour.. He also charged us way too much money for material. The total bill was $450 to replace a light and two light switches for our bedroom. Outrageous amount of money if you ask me and a little deceiving and contrary on the information I was given on the phone. So sad that people cannot find a decent electrician these days.
