This company is excellent. I have used them for years both in my older home and in my condo. They are wonderful at figuring out difficult wiring. They stand behind their work. I would like to recognize one particular electriciannanned Sean. While parking his truck to see ne he saw a lady lying on the ground in pain. He went to her, took care of her dog, got her up, walked her to her unit, got her coat off and made sure she called 911. It turns out she had multiple breaks in her shoulder and arm. This lady was more than appreciative of what he did for her. So the bottom line: great electric and great human being.

Worst experience ever. I scheduled an estimate for my project of upgrading electrical panel. There gave me a 4 hour window. After I waited 2 hours, the technician called to cancel the appointment. They set up another appoint for the 2 day later. I waited 2 hours, no one showed up again. I called their office and was told that the technician would be contacted to give me a call. Again no one called me or showed up. The morning of the second day, they called me and wanted to reschedule. I was fooled twice, will not let them do it for the third time. Stay away from this scam company.

I knew there were some things I needed done, and he pointed out other things that he thought should or could be changed or repaired. I never felt any pressure to purchase services, his comments always came across as suggestions. Guillermo explained the company's services, how they operate, and their pricing plan. Everything was laid out up-front. We scheduled a time for him to come back, and he did so as scheduled. Due to the fact that I had a long list of work needed, Guillermo and his partner were not able to complete the job in a single day. They went out of their way to accommodate my schedule in order to return and get the job done. Everything was handled professionally and honestly. I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

Brian Simpson averted a tragedy and may have saved my Mother's life. He was at Mom's house in Md. doing a minor installation (very affordable, pleasant, professional and answered all my questions). I am in Florida and scheduled and paid for the service. Towards the end of the appointment, Mom didn't feel well. She actually was in the midst of a TIA (mini-stroke). The symptoms are hard to assess and were mild. Mom has Life Alert. But, is always hesitant to use it (at least in a timely manner). He assisted and comforted her, got me on the phone and suggested I get her medical attention. He also immediately contacted Life Alert on another phone, described her symptoms, and remained on the phone with both Life Alert and me until the paramedics arrived. Due to his timely and accurate assessment, she got to the hospital during the event. This resulted in a full recovery and a proper diagnosis. (she was hospitalized briefly last month, but due to a delay was misdiagnosed). My mother and I were already impressed with the service and professionalism of every employee. In fact, my mother had just requested to sign a service contract if Brian would be the electrician. This event really sealed the deal. It is also important to note that he refused to accept payment, etc. until Mom was tended to. Our family will be forever grateful.

They came out to my house on time, well dressed and even asked if if where they were parked is ok. Extremely friendly knowledgeable and by far one of the best electrical service companies in MD. They installed gfi’s in all the areas pertaining water and told me about the safety of them. They cleaned up as if they where never there. But definitely left it looking better than it did. On Monday, November 12, 2018, Gabe and Jose came to start work on a 3 day job. They were going to replace and upgrade all the light switches in our entire house, put in 2 new smoke detectors (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs, each lasting 10 years), and a brand new electrical panel. On the 1st day, Gabe and Jose made their way through our whole house sometimes having to move heavy stuff like beds, etc to replace our light switches all over our house. They did a great job and things went smoothly. In a totally unrelated matter though, that evening, after they had left, our oven of 20 years broke down while making dinner. The next day, Gabe came and when I informed him of the problem, he immediately checked to see if the problem was electrical. It turned out not to be an electrical problem. It was just the oven, after 20 years of use, stopped working, so we had to get a new one immediately, later that day. Gabe gave us directions as to what kind of plug would fit in the outlet we have for the oven and after he finished sent me a picture of the plug, so we would know what to ask for. Because of that, the delivery of the oven went off without a problem. That same day, Gabe put in the smoke detectors, and took the time to explain how they worked, what to watch out for, and how to maintain them so they last the 10 year duration. The next day, the 3rd and last day of work, Gabe and Jose installed the new electric panel which meant we were without electricity in the whole house for a few hours. After they finished the work, they tested out each circuit to make sure everything worked and noted down on the electrical panel, which circuit was for which thing in the house. Gabe then explained what they had done and the work was done and assured me we didn't have to worry about the electrical panel for another 20 years, which was reassuring. It was a lot of work that was done but we appreciated Gabe and Jose's hard work. We especially appreciated Gabe's handling of our oven issue and explaining the work they had done and what we needed to do with regards to maintenance. We truly appreciated the kindness, patience and hard work that was put in by Gabe and Jose for the 3 days of work that was done at our home. Thank you again.

The next day, Gabe came and when I informed him of the problem, he immediately checked to see if the problem was electrical. It turned out not to be an electrical problem. It was just the oven, after 20 years of use, stopped working, so we had to get a new one immediately, later that day. Gabe gave us directions as to what kind of plug would fit in the outlet we have for the oven and after he finished sent me a picture of the plug, so we would know what to ask for. Because of that, the delivery of the oven went off without a problem. That same day, Gabe put in the smoke detectors, and took the time to explain how they worked, what to watch out for, and how to maintain them so they last the 10 year duration. The next day, the 3rd and last day of work, Gabe and Jose installed the new electric panel which meant we were without electricity in the whole house for a few hours. After they finished the work, they tested out each circuit to make sure everything worked and noted down on the electrical panel, which circuit was for which thing in the house. Gabe then explained what they had done and the work was done and assured me we didn't have to worry about the electrical panel for another 20 years, which was reassuring. It was a lot of work that was done but we appreciated Gabe and Jose's hard work. We especially appreciated Gabe's handling of our oven issue and explaining the work they had done and what we needed to do with regards to maintenance. We truly appreciated the kindness, patience and hard work that was put in by Gabe and Jose for the 3 days of work that was done at our home. Thank you again.

It took about 6 hours total, and he worked non-stop. Obviously, there was some drywall dust and debris, but he cleaned up as best as he could. It's nice that the company deducts the cost of the estimate from the project. I did end up getting 2 extra or additional/unplanned single toggler dimmer switches, but I didn't know I was going to be charged extra for them or how much they cost until I got the final invoice. I wouldn't have mind paying for them. But they charged $129 for each one, and Lowe's sells them for $28. $100 to install each switch (rather replace the old switch) is a lot!

Jose came out today to replace an outlet and he helped me understand not only the work he was doing but he also provided a lot of good insight about other questions I had while he was here. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Contacted them based on personal reference. I'm selling my house and wanted an inspection BEFORE the home inspection...just in case. Josh came out and was fantastic - explained what he was going to do, pricing structure, etc, etc. When he found out I replace my own outlets, he even talked to me about how to replace a GFI that needed it. This is obviously an easier review to write because I didn't have any major issues, but I've since tried to replace one of my outlets and the wiring was off, so I just put it back and am going to call Electrical Connections to come fix it. Highly recommend them!!

We love Electrical Connections LLC. We have now worked with them on two services, one big and one small. You cannot beat the family owned company customer service. Every electrician we talked to and have worked with have been fabulous. We first contacted them when we were debating about walking away from a house we bid on with poor wiring. They were the only group to give truly honest helpful opinion and proper way of fixing it (after calling a gazillion other local electricians). We ended up not buying that house but we knew if we were to have electoral issues, we knew who to call! When we moved into our new house, we had them install recess lighting. We also found a snafu a week later and they came right out to fix it. They also have been super knowledgable and helpful with advice on a generator that we know nothing about that came with the house. Tim, Josh, Imer, Guillermo, and Jennifer have all been great. We know they will be our go-to-electricians.
