$125 per hour is what I was told over the phone. I did not know there was a two hour minimum. They were nice and professional, but shouldn't charge for two hours when only 15 minutes of work was done. It was literally a 15 minute test for $250. I had to rip up the first check I gave him for $125 and write a new one. Disappointing.

I was having some problems with my generator and I call the company which was after hours left a message and within an hour I got a call back and I explained what problem I was having and a technician was at my house first thing the next day. Thanks for the good tune-up and informative chat. One thing that happens when the transfer to generator power takes place is that it cuts off Verizon, which has to be reset at a little battery box to restore TV, computer and phone access. But presumably that's a problem with Verizon equipment, not generator operation? Maybe there's no battery?

Ordered a deal on Angie’s list to have miscellaneous trouble shooting of strobing lights, a gfci outlet installed, and a welding outlet replaced with a different receptacle. The electrician was very nice and worked quickly. The gfci was for an over the range microwave-we hadn’t yet removed the cabinet above the range and he took the time to come up with different options of where to place the outlet so that removing the cabinet at a later date wouldn’t interfere with the new outlet. Cost of materials and labor for the time over 2 hours paid for was very reasonable. We will definitely be using them again for fixture installation

The installers were attentive to my requests and cleaned everything after the job was complete. We had one minor communication issue where a 2 gang switch box was expanded to a 3 without my consent. After running into several issues during the installation process, I decided to call a professional to finish the job. I found Bailey & Shipp online and didn't know much about the company, but was immediately impressed with the friendly receptionist when I called. She booked my appointment quickly and Bob came out the next day to finish the installation I had started. He said he had 30 years of experience and it showed. He resolved all of the wiring issues that had stumped me, and the heat lamp/exhaust fan are now working. Bob vacuumed the bathroom and left everything as he found it. Will definitely call Bailey & Shipp if I need an electrician again.

Eventually the job was done to satisfaction, but not without getting the owner involved and over a longer time period than I had originally planned (and longer than had been proposed by the sales team). Lastly, I thought I had paid them in full but apparently I had only paid the deposit of 50%. The company charged my credit card literally 9 months after the service was completed for the second half without even so much as notifying me in advance. I mean I did owe the money, so I'm 100% fine to pay it, but that's not great customer service by any stretch. I called to notify them and the associate told me "oh yeah, we switched over to a new billing system so that happens sometimes." Not even an apology. Plenty of competition and I'll be using someone else next time. Buyer beware.

Not only did he wait at the clients to meet the inspector with me, but he also went to another job site with me and made sure an issue was resolved so we could ensure the inspection would pass tomorrow! Needed 8 recessed lights installed. Called a few people found Bailey and Shipp. Scott came and looked gave me some ideas and had a quote in short time. They were competitive. Talked to Bob at the office set time for install. Scott and Bob were great!!!! Install done today by Evan and Jason. Very very professional. Neat fast, efficient and friendly. When done they cleaned the floor vacuumed and job was perfect!! I would highly recommend!!!!
