I reached out to Able about installing an Electric Vehicle charger at my house. Doug helped me resolve my slightly complicated situation over the course of multiple phone calls and emails. I had many questions, which Doug answered quite patiently. The service was scheduled not to far out from my first contact. Keith came to do the work at my house over 2 days (this was an electrical panel replacement and a new outside line installation). Keith was nice and professional. After the work was done, the staff at Able kept in contact with me during the post-work inspection and BGE scheduling. TL;DR: good communication; fair price; good turn-around time

Would not recommend. Excellent customer service over the phone. Explanation for pricing. Electrician was personalble, knowledgeable, and fast. My complaint is that they used the estimate to bill off and not actually wrk time. They included the consultation for the electric panel into the fee. Which was not work I was getting done today, but possibly in the future. I was also told by the electrician did not count as wrk time. Specifically!! I had asked him that!!! When I called for an initial estimate I was told the clock starts when they do work. I would not recommend to my neighbors, friends or others for that reason. Inconsistent pricing.

5 Star By Far Amazon Seller + Prime Day 2019 + BGE Power Outage = Potential Disaster Disaster averted after calling Able Electric Services. Talked to Doug (Owner), explained the emergency crisis we were facing and he immediately put a plan together, shopped the parts needed and built a custom circuit to get our engravers up and running on a generator. IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS from the initial call we were engraving orders again. I believe there was some divine intervention on this day cuz Doug was a cold call from a google search and had never done work for us prior. He made us a priority and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Guess that’s why he is still thriving in biz 22 years strong. I don’t know their service radius but I do know they are certainly worth the first call to inquire. I had a GFCI outlet that needed to be fixed and half the power went out to the townhouse. I called that day at 4pm to try to schedule an appointment. I was so happy they were able to fix me in the next day - all other places I called had around a week wait for the non-emergency rate. Keith came the next day to see what needed to be fixed. He was able to find the problems and fix it as well as add a ground wire to the faulty GFCI in less than an hour. I was really happy with his work and surprised that it didn't take much time at all. I would definitely recommend Able Electrical.

It was Father’s Day weekend and we had 20 people coming over to eat crabs on a hot sunny day. On the morning of people coming over, the electrical was not working in our outdoor gazebo, which meant my guests would be without a much needed fan, and lights for later on in the evening. Calling for an electrician to come out on the same day and a Saturday at that made me gasp at the thought of the cost, but we had to, we needed our electrical to work. I called Able Electrical and spoke to Doug. After hearing my distressed lady voice, Doug did the most decent thing; he offered to talk me through potential fixes over the phone rather than take advantage of the opportunity to capitalize on the situation. He was sooooo helpful and sure enough, he talked me through the issue and my gazebo fan and lights were working for my Fathers Day party! He even offered his direct cell in case something went haywire. I am so appreciative of him and he will be the first person I call when I need electrical work again. I highly recommend Able Electrical!
