I hired Darrel (after he was recommended by a friend) after a terrible experience with another contractor; the difference was like night and day. The job – relocating my service panel and moving from 100 amp to 200 amp power – entailed four visits, coordinating with CMP, and working with the city inspector. Throughout the entire process, Darrel was professional, polite, reliably reachable by phone, and on time every time. He walked me through all of the coming steps (without prompting) so there were no surprises and did a great job. If you’re wary of contractors – and even if you’re not – Darrel’s the right guy to help. Highly recommended.

Darrel was able to complete the work pretty sooner than I expected when I made my initial call, and his rate was very reasonable. Darrell was great. I called and left a message requesting him to look at our electric panel because it had bad corrosion. He responded quickly and scheduled a visit within the next couple days. Following a very reasonable estimate he installed an entirely new electric panel. His scheduling of the electric company and the town inspector made the day go smoothly. I called no fewer than six local electricians, and no one called me back. After finding P&D online, I called in the AM and was shocked to receive a call back within an hour. Thoroughly expecting to be told that no one could come to my house any time soon for my small job, I was further shocked when Darrel said he would swing by at the end of the day on his way home from the job he was currently at in Scarborough (I'm in Cumberland). Most contractors these days seem more interested in the big jobs. P&D concentrates on what he called the "Mom & Pop" jobs, the everyday stuff we all need at one time or another.
