I shop at hardware stores a lot. I have not had such a bad experience as I did at the Lindbergh home depot in a long time. I went in around 11 am and all the brand ambassadors were there trying to do their displays which was not the issue. The issue came when a certain group of said ambassadors decided to intercept the employee I had asked to be paged over to help me find something. Apparently he assumed they had asked him to be paged and never came back after helping them. I ended up leaving as no one was of any help and I knew Amazon had the part and could get it to me in a day or two.

With three exceptions (and it's scary when you can count them), most of the staff is too G-fabulous to be of any assistance. Most of the staff has no idea where anything is and they spend more time talking with each other than any customer. If they weren't the closest game in town, I'd go anywhere else. In the rebuild of my home, we have spent upwards to $150,000 at this place and they treat you as if you're getting in the way of their break.

Both of the women I spoke with at customer service were super helpful. My Ryobi weed trimmer broke and they provided me with store credit for the purchase.The only downside was when I went to tool rental, I stood there for 3-4 minutes and nobody was there.

Home Depot is sometimes a fun place to shop. We needed a light socket plug for some outdoor Halloween decorations. That was easy. When about to leave, we checked out the Halloween decorations and noticed they had the last one of it's kind but it was a floor model. I wasn't impressed with the percent discount they offered because it was a floor model. Maybe next time.

The most incompetent people I have ever had to work with. I ordered a microwave and trim kit from home depot online. Somehow it got messed up in their system and they had to ring it up as an in-store purchase. The microwave comes, it's shattered. The trim kit is missing, but says it was delivered as well. It wasn't. We tried to return to the Sandy Springs location as we had ordered it online and it was shattered. They told us we had to go to the Buckhead store since we bought it from there .. even though we BOUGHT IT ONLINE. The Sandy Springs store calls the Buckhead store ... and they proceed to put us on hold for 2 hours . ..... then we finally get the microwave returned and reordered .. but they did not order the trim kit after us telling them NUMEROUS times it had not arrived. I've been on the phone with them back and forth trying to get an ETA for delivery as we're having our kitchen renovated. They can't seem to figure that out either, one associate told me the parts are in stock and coming and another rudely told me that I would not receive them until the 2nd week in February because they're back ordered. These people are CLUELESS and not ONE person has called me back with an update to sort this out. To make it even better ... a company showed up to pick up the shattered microwave that we returned a week ago! Save your time ... I've been on the phone with them / in store with them trying to sort this out for over 15 hours at this point. I will not be using them again. I wouldn't recommend you to either. Not ONE manager/employee has offered to make this right for me either, not one. Go to Lowe's. Better experience.

Came in for a patio rug. The gentleman said although it was not his department he would help me. He took pictures of the rugs and said the rug had to be ordered on line. He took his time with me. This gentleman was pleasant and he had manners. Highly recommend.

I visited 2 HDP stores kitchen & bath for custom cabinets. And the service , produce info and pricing all a 1. At Midtown reps setting around for hours chating. But you can't get help, dont know the sales or promo info after you make appt. The prices are a ripoff Charge 600.00 for wood only on the front of under the sink cabinet and charge 1000 more for wood on the 3 other sides. Ripoff

And this location in Tacoma Park is closer to my house. The other location on route 1, gave me false information, they seem to be rushing me out. But the Eye Doctor(female) was very professional & helpful to my needs. Tacoma Park is now the only America's Best I would go to and highly recommend.

I have problems getting knowledgeable staff to guide me to the items I want. This site has a large inventory but some items are not where you would think they would be (in close proximity to other items to complete a project). They have a few knowledgeable staff who can guide you through your project but you must factor in time to find and speak to them.

This is the first time I've shopped Home Depot in a very long time. Because of poor customer service in the past I was an avid shopper at online , Ace and Lowes. Today I was pleasantly surprised. My entire experience from online shopping to pick up in store was 5 star. I am temporarily handicap and need to make some updates to my bathroom for an upcoming surgery. I ordered a toilet online and called on the phone to make sure it was ready. The person on the phone was very helpful and she even assisted me with pick up in the store. Additionally, I was looking for a bathroom accessory and it was two people in the aisle to point me in the right direction with a smile. When I needed help loading my car two young guys were there to assist. They may have won me over, I will be back! I wish I knew the woman's name that assisted me she was great.

Went to this store to purchase a product that I saw on the their website as as having 46 of the item I viewed in stock at this store. The website gave me a discription of the item as well as the location in the store. After searching for several minutes in the store for the item, I looked for several more minutes for an associate. After finding an associate and showing him the info on the their website, he said that the store doesn't carry that item and took me to another location and presented another item, not even related. I then went to the Customer Service Desk and asked for a manager. I was also chatting with an online agent for the website. I was unable to see a manager after waiting about 40 minutes. Another associate attempted to help with the problem; however, he went through the same steps I had went through with the same results. This was totally a wasted hour of my morning production. I actually give this store zero ( 0 ) stars, b can not post my comments without being forced to give at least 1 star.

Customer service at this location has been fantastic for me. Everyone is nice and very helpful. The store is pretty disorganized though, especially when it comes to the nuts and bolts. Took me an hour to find the carriage bolts I needed. Outdoor section is kinda limited compared to some other stores.

Don't try to order anything from the garden section online. They will send an email saying they picked all the items, then have you pick your own when you get there... if they are still in stock. Made for a much longer job than I had planned for. Hard to find a more unmotivated group of people than those that Home Depot seems to seek out and employ.

Worst customer service and experience at this store. It's been more than a month and after 3 days off from work... still not all of my kitchen appliances are installed. We bought all new stainless steel kitchen appliances. Home Depot just doesn't take care of things that they are supposed to do. The stress of going back and forth on calls with the customer service and the frustration of everyone saying, it will be done today... tomorrow... next week, and nothing happens is too much to take on for appliances.

I live next to this Home Depot, and they are terrible neighbors. They routinely put their wares in the parking lot or street (wherever they want), and let trucks park in the alley at all hours of the night. In the spring they use their leaf blowers any time after 5am. When you call and ask if they can stop that they say the best they can do is 630am.

9/26/19 I called prior to going to see if an employee could help me replant my growing Monstera deliciosa seeing as I’ve never done it before. We were told an employee by the name of ***Ranger*** was there and could help us. He did an AMAZING job. He was a nice sweet funny guy. He gave us so many tips and tricks to planting and I could tell he was passionate about his love for plants AND his job. He deserves to be acknowledged for his kindness and great customer service skills. Thank you Ranger!!!

The appliances section (washers, dryer, oven) is lacking price tags. Lastly, the parking lot doesn't have any lights making it hard to find your car as well as unsafe at night.

You can't beat home Depot and for the most part this review reflects the few bad apples. I firmly believe in positive exchanges and great customer service. I believe that Home Depot as an organization does as well. Generally speaking, there are plenty of pleasant staffers. I've just had one too many "this is not my section" comments out of staff at this location.

Prime Example of Self Checkout Abuse Seems like the lines are longer than they should be. Same thing with Brentwood. Why is that? Over reliance on self checkout instead of people. Yes, people call out sick for a day, self checkout calls out sick until someone comes to fix it. Half of the self checkouts were broken, they have self checkouts, not enough people on call to make up the slack. Nice people, though. And stock seems consistent with the readings online. I would like to rate higher, but in becoming tired of spending so much time waiting in line at Home Depot

One of the largest Home Depot’s I’ve been to. With a large parking lot to accommodate. The large plant life area is beautiful. With so many items to choose from there were not many employees to help locate anything. Actually I did cross paths with about six all of whom did not say hello nor did they ask if I needed any help finding anything. After I approached one for help thankfully he knew where to direct me and walked me over to the area, but quickly left before providing any further assistance. After I found my items I was surprised to finally get a hello, did you need help finding anything from the employee of the month in my book Mr SCOTT T. He also apologized for the other employees that didn’t greet us. Which was another great action by Mr SCOTT T. I liked the benches by the check out area and the large selection of appliances.

I ordered tiles online for in-store pickup, and it showed online that they had twice the amount in stock that I ordered. I also called to confirm they were in stock. However, upon arrival they had only 1/3 of my order, and I had to go to three other Home Depot stores to get it filled! They did not issue me a refund, and I've been on the phone for 35 minutes waiting to speak to someone. The customer service sales associate was rude and unhelpful. Never again. Do not trust the Home Depot website or even sales associates when you call- they do not manage their stock competently and have no idea what they really have and don't have. You have to go and physically check on the shelf.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to in my life. We ordered blackout shades to be installed from them and it has been 3 weeks and absolutely nothing has happened. We have paid over $750.00 for them to be custom cut and absolutely nothing has happened. We have been lied to on 4 separate occasions. I have stayed home from work on two days when they were supposed to come do measurements and they JUST DIDN’T SHOW UP!!! NO CALL OR ANYTHING!!! We have had to physically walk into the store to have any sort of communication about our project. It’s been awful. I wouldn’t wish this misery on my worst enemy. We still have no idea if we are even going to get what we ordered. At this rate I have a feeling they’ve just taken our money. There’s a bunch of employees over there who could literally just care less. I’ve been promised so many times in the store “we will call first thing in the morning.” NOPE. NEVER. NOT ONCE. We will NEVER be returning to Home Depot. We just want our project to be finished so we can wash our hands of This horrible mess. They are not running any sort of business over there. This is a joke. Also the store is horrible. It took them over an hour to figure out how to print my receipt. It’s just a bunch of idiots over there. THIS IS THE WORST STORE IN THE WORLD. DO NOT GO THERE. Wow! It was such a irritating day on a Wednesday when I came into this store. I met this young lady who was very very helpful in the garden area. But I think she was just cashier or so (her name was Cynthia). We had a delightful conversation. She told me her story that everything she does is for her family. She helped look for plants and other things as well. She took her sweet time and went on her phone to look for the items I was looking. it looked like she was in hurry, but I loved that she took her time to help me with certain stuff. Her energy is perfect it brightened my day. Her Customer Sevice is excellent she also helped me load my plants to my car with this other gentlemen. This young lady maybe 19 or in her 20’s her mood is always energetic, helpful, extravagant, and also polite. But she made sure I had everything I needed. But she deserves more. I am glad I met her. Can’t wait to see more of her cheerful and bubbly face. Furthermore, I will definitely come and see her more often.

this store is honestly one of the best i have been too, i drive past the one on rhode island just to go to this one. most of the associates are friendly and know what they are talking about. Quincy from plumbing helps me around the store every time i come in (if he isn't already occupied). Keith is always friendly and makes me feel right at home when I walk in and their gm is very hands on. i didn't even know he was the gm, he helped me like a regular employee.

If you're going to buy large appliances, do yourself and just get them on Amazon. It took me 4 months to get all of my appliances and get them set up. The delivery company was always late, rude, left garbage laying around, and dented up my house. Not to mention they had no idea how to properly install a stacking kit, resulting in scratched and dented appliances. They don't care about you, they don't care about your appliances, they don't care about your house, so why give them your money?

Yesterday I went to the store to purchase a slab door, a 2x4, molding, and keyed door knobs. I was about to give up since I was overwhelmed by the choices. Clarence came to the rescue. He helped me choose a replacement bedroom door, retrieved a cart, took me to the lumber section, cut the molding and 2x4's and found the knobs. My hero! Just when I was walking out the front door Mitchell said I could leave the cart with him and get my car and when I returned he and Michael made sure the door carefully fit in my PT Cruiser. I'd measured before and thought it would work but Michael was very gentle with the door and the car. Great guys. My best experience at Home Depot to date!

I bought a lot of packing supplies from here like cardboard boxes in all sizes and strength and related items. They keep a lot of staff so there is always someone to guide and assist the customers. I am highly impressed by the employee's sense of customer service as they take complete time to find the thing a customer is looking for from any corner of the store, helps them with options and utility. No wonder it is a popular store for ages for many and the company has done well over the time. There is a consistency in service level across the stores.

The Piedmont Road Home Depot is definitely the best Home Depot in town the service the selection and just the overall competency of the staff is great. I've gone to a lot of other Home Depots and Lowe's and have been very disappointed and misled with bogus information about products. I made a large purchase at Lowe's the other day and no one knew anything about the product I was buying and it was pretty pitiful. I will go to the Piedmont Home Depot even though it's out of the way for me just for the service that I get there

It's 30 degrees outside and still the cold months and they didn't have a single portable or electric heater...because of course not. Why would a hardware and appliance store have small appliances? They had humidifiers and air purifiers, but no space heaters. This location is USELESS. They never have any selection of basic things. Went around the entire store multiple times looking for them and not a single associate bothered to help me.

This store is big and typically busy. I like to go about 7:30-8pm. They close at 9pm which is earlier than other locations that don't close til 10pm. However this limits my time there and maybe I'll spend less. Wishful thinking. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and usually easy to find to ask questions. They recently updated all the checkout stations to be self checkout with a scanning tool. I like it, and if you need help there are a few members up there ready and willing to assist.

This stop at The Home Depot rounded out my buying of seasonal herbs and vegetables for my garden. The plants at this Home Depot always look great compared to the Midtown location. There is always a good crowd here shopping. The store is always well staffed, so there is seldom a problem with the lines being overly long. And the times that I have needed help, there was always someone available to assist. This store is well out of the way from where I live, but I take the time to drive up here, knowing that it is such a well managed store.

It's Home Depot. This location is the closest to the wealthiest zip code in GA, and 7th in the nation, south Buckhead/Peachtree Battle. Thus the service is perhaps a little better, and the selection is definitely better than average, or at least better than the next closest store in Midtown. That store is, as one would expect from its location, smaller than the Bulkhead store

Overall this is a great store but there flooring department is terrible. I ordered some blinds for a new home. Home Depot was supposed to coordinate for someone with their 3rd Party blind installation contractor to come out and measure the windows. It took roughly 3 weeks of me going back and forth to Home Depot trying to get a status and to get the measurement scheduled. Then when it came time to deliver the blinds, someone was supposed to contact me and provide a delivery date and window. Nobody ever called, but when I got to my home this morning the blinds were laying outside of my garage in the rain and some of the boxes were soaked. Just terrible coordination and communication.

I love the home depot. I love it for the people, the color orange, and the can get it done attitude of the team! In 2010 I spent $4,700 on mulch for my garden at this location. I loved it so much! I love to visit this home depot 2-5 times a weekend. Today Marcus Allen helped me get screw out of my sink disposal. He went above and beyond. I would love to retire and get a job here. It is so cool all the awesome things they have. The most exciting is when they have a sale on Mulch. Thank you the Home Depot Team for a great Product and service with all my home projects. I am a really bad handyman, but the home depot makes me feel like I am great!

Maria from Hardware is an AWESOME HUMAN BEING!! Home Depot dudes were running away from me but Maria no. She came up to me with a smile on her face because she saw I looked puzzled. I was looking for a scraper attachment for a multi tool (Ryobi). Home Depot doesn’t carry Ryobi attachments for the most part but they have several universal options. So I was looking at those. Found one but it didn’t specifically say Ryobi on it. Maria and I wondered over the problem for a bit and then she realized the Mulit tool comes with an adaptor sometimes. She found an unopened Ryobi multi-tool, and opened it for me so we could confirm that the adaptar fit the scraper I was trying to buy. It did! I’m so thankful for her problem solving. Go Maria and Home Depot!!! I went home and replaced the caulk on my bathroom in record time.

Everyone was very helpful. They had to special order what I needed and what i liked the best was all I had to do is pick it up in the special lock box. That was very neat! Don't come here and order a washer and dryer and get it delivered. You'll have nothing but problems. HD will direct you to their 3rd party delivery company who will direct you to the manufacturer just for them to direct you back to HD. It's a nightmare. It's been 4 weeks and still can't wash clothes in my house after paying them $1700. Stay away. You've been warned! Go to Best Buy!

This Home Depot gives excellent service. There are many employees here to advise and to assist you with all your needs. The garden department has a wide variety of flowering plants and shrubbery available for immediate take home so that you can have fun playing in the dirt once again. I found a good selection of tomato plants for you to nourish In preparing for your spring and summer backyard extravaganza of good old fashioned eating until you are stuffed. I highly recommend this Home Depot. You will not be disappointed.

It’s always hard to find someone to help you at this location. I go between this location and college park and I would definelty recommend college park. They are more helpful from the floor to the parking. Today, I stood at the self checkout for 5 mins to wait An employee named Mrs.Roberta (I believe was her name) to acknowledge me as to another employee obviously noticed I needed help. He told me of course to hold on. She came over and spoke to me in a rude manner that was not called for. I already had my ID and everything ready for her (since I’ve been a regular at HD)she told to move. Customer service here needs to be improved.

Very poor customer service and inventory management, in our experience. The "paver" items in their garden center were placed in the wrong area under the wrong price/item; multiple SKUs are placed in areas not corresponding with the correct item number. We waited for 20 min while they slowly looked. We just left them without buying the pavers because they couldn't figure their sh*t out. The girl wasn't very eager to help nor provided good service. No "please" or "thank you". It's a shame this dept is poorly managed.

I'm writing this review a little late, but better late than never. As you can see by all the pictures, Home Depot, is all set for the holiday's They have everything you need for Holiday decorations. Tons of christmas items to decorate, the inside and outside of you home. They have many different display options and inflatables. It was impossible to take a picture of everything. They have lots of live and fake, Christmas trees and every kind of ornaments, you'd like for it. Also very good prices on gift items too. Many different gadgets and tool sets, gloves, Copper Fit socks, All in one pocket sets. Too many to name. I hear the Black friday sale is going to be amazing aswll. I definitely recommend stopping by to check everything out. They have a public restroom, wheelchair parking at both doors and wheelchair access too. Extremely displeased with the installation of our dishwasher (they had to send a second team out) and finding a solution when the company that came to install it scratched our brand new stone floors. I called home depot when the gentleman was installing our dishwasher and told them what happened. After 4 months of filling out paperwork, sending in pictures, writing letters for updates, this fell flat with no recourse to the vendor and home depot did not reimburse us to the damage on our floors. DO NOT expect Home Depot to make it right when a third party damages your home, and DEFINITELY DO NOT let ANYONE from Spirit install wahsers, dryers, or especially dishwashers in your home. They will drag the several hundred pound items across your wood, or stone floors without care or concern.

Yesterday (12/27/18) I parked and while I walked in through the front doors I saw the nursery lady chatting up with a HD person. All I wanted was one of those Jiffy Seed Starter Kits. I proceeded to go to the shelf where I remember them being there, they were not. I then went outside and walked around the shelves, not to be found either. I came back inside and spotted the nursery lady fussing around the indoor hanging plant section. I asked here were the Jiffy kits might be. She could not be bothered to point me in the direction (of course as many times she walks in and out of HD she couldn't be bothered saying she does not work for HD). I left her to her plants and went to look for someone to help me. Of course, when you do need someone they are never to be found. Finally, I found a person who was stocking up some planks. I politely asked here where might I find the Jiffy Seed Starter Kits. She repeated it as though and then to my horror proceeded to yell to another person across the room. The guy comes over in a manner that seemed to suggest that he too could not be bothered. I asked him where might I find the starter kits. He said they were non, then he said they were seaaonal. I told him that they very well could not be seasonal as it is now we start the seed process so that they seedings would be ready to plant when the season arrives. The lady chimes in sending me to the the Rhode Island Store. I asked here why would she send me all the way there when we have a College Park HD not far. Not a single person offered to check stock availability on the computer. I was treated very rudely. I suggest that people get some cross training on products. I have always had negative experiences at they Hyattsville HD. I think the manager should put all the workers on a bus for a field trip to the College Park HD. Perhaps, you will discover what it is they do differently to achieve their high star rating.
