R.S Andrews provided excellent service. I was at work and my sister called to say there was a constant steady mist coming down from the ceiling in my garage and that it was enough to make the floor wet. Worried it could be something with the pipe, I called around for service, no one had availability until 3 or 4 days except R.S. Andrews, they scheduled service for the next day. 2 hours before their scheduled time of arrival my sister called to say water was now shooting from the water heater. Before I could call the plumbing service, my sister called back to say they had arrived. Cody Melon was professional, immediately shut the water down to the house and determined the problem was the water heater and the regulator. He had the problem resolved and the new water heater and regulator in by that night. We were only without water for 4 hours. The reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 star was because of price. The total cost for water heater and regulator was $2300. Not knowing how serious the problem was and the speed of service and not knowing the cost of these things made it worth it for me, but if you have time to shop around and price I've been told it should have been half that price.

In October, 2017 I had a new Lennox heat/air system installed by R. S. Andrews (RSA). In the following 2 (two) years, the system repeatedly failed resulting in more than 10 "repair" visits. This might sound like a complaint, but each time, RSA "came running" and honestly tried to fix the issue(s). Three employees - Elliott, Albert, and Albert Jr. - but especially Elliott - helped respond to the multiple calls. The ultimate fix was not a simple one to sleuth out, but Elliott and others did not give up - sometimes resulting in he and others working well into the night to remedy the issue(s). Elliott was always polite, respectful, and truly dedicated to "making it right." Elliott and the RSA team could have given up with the two years of calls for failures, but rather than calling it quits or making me feel like I was a pest, he and others "doubled down" in dedication to finding the ultimate solutions. I can't praise them enough for their dedication to address the tough-to-identify issues and, ultimately (so far), making the system run as it should. Elliott and Albert Jr. and the rest of the RSA team deserve recognition for their exemplary service. I certainly do recommend RSA and their equipment (the ultimate problem with the equipment was simple, but difficult to identify).

Avoid at all Costs! Called to fix damper issue on Brand new Lennox Zone system. Verbally quoted me $475 dollars for labor, and said dampers were covered under warranty. I approved labor the estimate, but when complete, repairman said I owed $1800. It took 4 phone calls and 3 weeks to get them to honor original estimate. After which, they filed a lien on my house for non payment of the original $1800. That took several more phone calls to undo. Now I find out after we finally had a warm spell that the repair man rewired my system so only heat comes out even when AC is called for. Obviously, I have to call another company to fix their mess after all the complaining I did to fix the first 2 messes they caused in the first place, not to mention the newly discovered 3rd mess. Avoid at all costs. The good reviews must have been left by RS Andrews employees and family.

We had a tankless water heater installed by R S Andrews in 2008. It has been great! Just last week it started to give hot water intermittently. We had three service calls, and couldn't seem to get the problem resolved. At the third service call, our technician, Michael Waters, discovered that the problems were expensive enough that a replacement would be more cost effective. At that point he starting figuring out how to help us save money and get a better deal. Then he added a discount. Then, he increased the discount in honor of my husband, a disabled veteran. Michael Waters is a veteran too. It was an incredible experience. We now have hot water any time we want it! Mr. Waters did an incredible job, and did his best to get the work done well. We are grateful, and will continue to call R S Andrews when we need them. Thank you!!

Very impressed with the customer service of this company! All three people I spoke to on the phone were amazing. Gene came out today to attempt to fix a blockage in a sewage pipe. While he was unable to do so, I appreciated how honest and kind he was! All I paid was the service fee to come out and assess the problem. He referred me to someone who does jet blasting. If you are looking for a plumbing service you can trust. this company and it's team will exceed your expectations.. We sought their services after being completely let down by 2 other major companies in a matter concerning our Rheem Marathon water heater. Seems very few companies know much of anything about the Rheem Marathon water heaters, too busy pushing these new 'tankless' water heaters. I strongly recommend you call this company FIRST! Perform your due diligence, go ahead and get that 'second opinion' from another company, then you'll' gain deeper understanding of my recommendation. From those who take the phone calls and dispatch the pros to your home ,to the pro who arrives at your home to assess and give you cost estimates, and eventually perform the work...everyone we've encountered is friendly and professional and their merit and integrity shines thru. This company actually embraces the meaning of 'customer service'. I do not make 'reviews' lightly. This is my honest opinion of the services provided to us by this company. We had a master plumber exchange out a warrantied water heater. He and the rest of the team at R.S. Andrews were the ONLY ONES who knew anything about warranty replacement/exchange of a Rheem /Marathon water heater. For all it involved., removal of old,installation of new,replacement of various pipes/valves and a new expansion tank,plus hauling the old one away...the price was very fair and reasonable.... these are honest people with merit and integrity. It seems the owner of this company would not have it any other way! The service pro who came out and performed the work was empathetic to our situation and was very 'people friendly', professional but not 'cold'. His level of expertise and being able to relay it in a way the normal person lacking in such ,could easily understand.. and he performed the work methodically and continuously cleaned up the area he was working using his own paper towels. He left the area he had worked in very clean. We had experienced much of the same when we had hired them to install our new heating and cooling system earlier in the spring. I wish I had skipped the 'big name' company that spends big bucks advertising on the radio. Our experiences with them in the past few months has now made them our 'go to' company for all the services they provide to a home owner. It's a great feeling to know that you know who to call when a need arises. Our search is over.

My bathroom was flooding and no other group was available to come out until the next day even thought was flooding and they said they had emergency 24hrs a day ! I called RS Andrews. I explained my desperate situation and they sent a techout that night. !The tech went right to work! He was knowledgeable efficient and not only did he fix what was wrong but made sure the system had no other issues! RS Andrews care knowledge and professionalism saved me $$$thousands$$$$ in flooring, carpentry and future plumbing repairs ! They are my go to company for life!!,

Allow me to tell you about THE ONLY company that you should hire for your electrical needs. My Mother & Father needed a couple of lights to illuminate a downstairs room as the ballasts in the previous fluorescents had long ago met their maker. After having another Dale Cardwell certified electrical company come out for an estimate, I, being the liaison for the work, contacted R.S. Andrews as it is good practice to get a second opinion. Mr. Mike Connell came out with his protégé Kirk. They were not on time. OH NO, THEY WERE EARLY! How often does that happen in this day & age? After inspection, they concluded that in addition to the lights, the circuit breaker would also need to be replaced as it was not only out of code but was destined to catch fire at any time. You see, in the late 60’s & early 70’s there was an abundance of shoddy “just throw it up” construction being practiced with inferior materials. So glad that they caught this. The work was scheduled for the next day. Again, Mr. Connell & Kirk arrived early. The stated that the work was going to take around 3 hours. WRONG AGAIN! Their efficiency allowed them to be completed in EXACTLY 2:40 minutes (I timed it) & the work area was also clean with no debris left behind. There was to be a surge protector installed, however, being that it was the week of the Fourth of July, the supply house that they procure the part from was closed. Mr. Connell informed us that they would return after the supplier was open & then come by to install which should take around 15 minutes. The next week, sure enough, another great technician showed up (Cody) to install & it did not take 15 minutes NAY, it only took 10. In closing, I would like to not only applaud the superior work that was done but also the professionalism that they exuded (both in appearance & demeanor). The work was done in a more than timely manner for an extremely reasonable price with excellent warranties on both the parts & labor in place. Remember, you get what you pay for & it was truly worth every penny. If you need electrical work done in your home or business, in my humble opinion there is NO ONE else to call but R.S. Andrews in the Atlanta & surrounding areas. KUDOS R.S. ANDREWS, you have exceeded the expectations of a customer who is not easily impressed or pleased & in the process won a customer for life!

Fantastic. Came in, diagnosed the probably causes of the chemical smell in my water easily. We were overdue on a new water heater anyway and they returned, installed a new heater (which works great! Wife is really enjoying her showers) and the smell is gone. Forgot the names of the plumbers but they were efficient and talking/joking with them as I watched them work was pretty cool too. I was very alarmed when I found out that the crawl space in my house had several gas leaks. Austell Gas Company found the leaks after I smelled gas in my house and they turned the gas off. I then had to figure out what to do next. I called around to several companies to find one I would trust to make the needed repairs. I'm so glad I chose R. S. Andrews. They sent a wonderful representative to do the work. His name is Gene and he has been with this company for over 30 years. He crawled around in the crawl space under my house for nearly 7 hours on a 95 degree day. He did not complain once. Indeed he had a smile on his face every time I saw him. He refused a glass of cold lemonade because he said he didn't want to break the momentum of his work. Wow! I'm a widow and not knowledgeable about repairs like this, but Gene talked me through it all the way. When he finally finished after 7:00 he told me to call Austell Gas. I did so and they came out immediately. Gene spoke with their representative and told him what repairs he had done. The repairs were checked out and given an A+ and my gas was turned back on. I'm happy to say that the bill for all his hard work was very reasonable. I found that this lovely man had a work ethic that is from a "by gone day." I wish he could teach his ethics to the young people of today. He didn't accept that glass of lemonade until he was completely finished during which time we had a nice conversation. I sent him home to his very patient wife with some pound cake. Thanks, R. S. Andrews for having an employee of Gene's caliber!

Michael Waters, Master Plumber with RS Andrews, came to my home for a dishwasher repair for what I was told was a drainage problem. He thoroughly checked all the pipes and hoses and tested the drain cycle several times and assured me that everything was in good order. He said that this was a problem with the appliance rather than the plumbing and even offered to speak with the Frigidaire warranty department on my behalf! Even though he was here close to 45 minutes, there was no charge! I will recommend him to my entire condominium community and am so happy that I will never have to search for another plumber. We would like to express our appreciation for the excellent service that Brent Weiss provided on July 2. Our Air Conditioning system had stopped on us on Monday evening. We called the R. S. Andrews after hours service to arrange for an appointment on Tuesday. Tuesday was a hot day. The temperature in one room in our house was 90 degrees. Brent arrived early Tuesday afternoon, discovered what the problem was in short order and then made the necessary repairs. He explained to us what he was doing each step of the way which was most helpful to us. Within a few hours, he had repaired the a/c system, and the house was soon cool again. Hate the service, I had a water emergency on Thursday I called said they couldn't come out till Monday, I said ok I asked what time "we cant say a specific time but we'll let you know when a technician is close by" . So my wife took the day off from work to wait, we had no idea when the technician was going to show, so around noon I had a missed call from RS Andrew I literally called back minutes later and they told me I had missed my window with the technician that I had to reschedule. So my wife texted me said RS Andrews pulled up to my driveway parked for 3 minutes never got out to knock never got out of the van just left. I think it was very unprofessional they wasted my time and my wife's day. Never again

Good company if you can get them on the phone. I understand being busy, but I would imagine they only have a few employees that take actual calls. They will put you on a 5 minute hold and then ask you to leave a message for a call back. If I owned my own business, I would make sure most calls were answered. Every call is money. And unfortunately I have to use a different company (after using RS andrews many times) simply because I could not get anybody to answer my call. I tried calling 4 times over a 30 minute span. If you want to be the best company, it starts with increasing your overhead and hiring people to answer phones. You will make more money this way.

Michael came out and was amazing with how quickly he got the crew here the next morning. Another AC company was going to make them wait until Monday. Had a service call for my AC, it stopped cooling. When tech came out he said it had no freon and that the unit was old so it probably had a leak in the system. He could put freon in it for 100 dollars per pound. And he didnt recommend a leak check since it was so old and we plan on getting new unit in the next couple of months. After speaking with my husband and finding out we weren't members the upped the price to 125 per pound. But then we had to have the leak check which was another 250.00 which we were recommended not to have. What a rollercoaster ride. Its amazing how these people can take advantage. I spoke with supervisor Andrew wich is the one for the changes. I was willing to take the chance of freon leaking but when they knew that, that's when they (RS Andrews) jacked the price up. Saying that that would warranty the work and apply to a new unit. That just made things worse I no longer wanted to do business with them. I do have to say they didnt charge for a service call. But that's after they alienated me.

Fantastic! I had an issue with my HVAC system that no other company would touch, because my crawlspace is really small and very unpleasant. All the other big HVAC companies in town said there was nothing they could do. RS Andrews was the one that rolled up their sleeves, got under there and did the dirty work of fixing my incorrectly installed (by another company) system. Were they the cheapest? No. Were they the ONLY company to truly help me and get my system working as it should? Dang straight!

I called for emergency plumbing service on sat 10, 2012 about 4 pm. Was told service not available for my need. I have copd, I broke my hip 4 months ago and I also must carry an oxygen concentrator where ever I go. I needed service to my 2 upstairs sinks so I would not have to climb up and down stairs to wash my hands or brush my teeth. Can’t run water upstairs but RS ANDREWS plumbing answering service said all they could do was send message to company. I also agreed to pay the 150.00 extra charge. They list 24 hr service on their web page even though it does not seem to be true. I chose RS Andrews for my heating and ac contract based on their promise of 24 hour service availability. I guess i made a wrong choice.
