The service we received from Len, Jose, and Kim from America's Best absolutely lives up to the company name. From first inquiry to completed inspection, they were incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a small job - installing a 220-volt outlet in our garage - but they treated it like the most important project in their portfolio. During the estimate visit, Jose was on time and spent more than half an hour examining our indoor and outdoor electrical panels, photographing the install area, and even inspecting our air conditioner to confirm how much electricity it was already drawing. We received a detailed written estimate the same day, including permit fees. This was quite a contrast to another well-reviewed company which complained that I even wanted to follow the law by obtaining permits and ultimately refused to do the work unless we agreed to skip the permits. On the day of the installation, Jose was again on time, reconfirmed every detail of the job, and completed it timely. He came back a few days later to meet the inspector, and after some feedback, did some additional work the same day to make the install even safer for us. When the inspector came back for the final review, Len (the owner) came personally to meet him and ensure everything was set. Based on this experience - including the fact that they're all just nice people to deal with - we signed up for their annual service plan that includes two yearly AC checkups, priority service, and repair discounts. I feel like we've finally found an electrician we can trust.

I need a bunch of work done. Starting with a bad outlet. I called these guys up and asked for their hourly rates. He told me that they had a flat fee for each job and they charged a $99 diagnostic fee. He told me that they waive that fee when you do the work. When the tech came out he confirmed the outlet was bad and after 10min consulting his book he told me that the price was $385 to replace an outlet. I felt their prices we way out of line and wanted to confirm with his boss. I was told he was on a job and wouldn't talk to me. I told him to stop work. I felt his prices were out of line and that diagnostic fee is a trap for those who know that they are being ripped-off. And to top it all off, the Tech did not even close the outlet box properly! Rain could have started a fire!!

They showed up on time which is remarkable in South Florida. The problem was fixed in about an hour and they apparently saved me a couple of thousand dollars in that another large company was trying to sell me an expensive part........I am very pleased and plan on using them for all my AV and electrical work.
