I made an appointment with them and never show up or had the courtesy of calling me back to let me know they aren't coming to do a simple job. I am definitely no using them with this type of CS. I had to call to find out what was happening thanks but no thanks for your business and the only reason why I consider them was for the good rating they have here and i guess I was wrong

I spoke to two services prior to A+, both would have taken extended periods to get here, but A+ was here within 2 hours, the problem was solved within 30, and the pricing was very fair, and now we can watch TV again haha! I would highly recommend you call them first, otherwise you're wasting your time.

Was getting ready to put my mother's house on the market and needed a very last minute outlet repair ... on a Saturday. Horace Rowe worked me into his schedule and charged a VERY reasonable rate to complete the work. (By the time he finished, Horace's charge was less than what other electricians were going to charge me just to come to the house.). I would highly recommend A+American Electric Enterprises Inc.

"No show" twice in a row! I scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday at 10 am. This required me to take the day off from work. No call...No show. I called and they said they didn't see anything on "the schedule" and were too busy, so they rescheduled me for the next day at noon. I made arrangements to take an extended lunch from work to meet the electrician at my house and reiterated how important it was for him to call me if he was going to be late or if there were any issues. I arrived home and waited until 12:30. No call...No show! I called and again, they didn't see anything on "the schedule." Apparently this company has poor organization and/or communication. Unfortunately, as a busy working professional, I cannot afford to have a bunch of missed appointments. I will have to look for someone more reputable and professional.

Called several electricians for price comparing for an electrical problem I had in my home. Not only were their prices competitive but they actually walked me through the issue on the phone and I was able to fix it on my own with their help at no charge. These guys are the real deal. I will definitely use them any time I ever have any electrical problems. Highly recommend.

i would give no stars if I could. I called to make an appointment on a saturday. the person told me to go to their website and put a service request in there. I immediately went to their website and put the request in. 6 days later (Friday) I called again and said "hey, I called last week and you told me to use your website and I did and no one ever called me back for an appointment. the guy said, "ok, we will put you on the schedule for Tuesday but I can't give you the time yet. I see your request. We will call you back with the exact time." I never heard back so I called Monday (the day before my supposed appointment) and I got a guy who said the guy who does the appointments is "in the warehouse". We will call you back in like 15-20 minutes to give you the time, once we sort it out". I had no confidence in that happening by this point. They never called back. today is tuesday and it's 9:26 pm. Of course, they never called and never showed up. Ridiculous customer service. Stay away from this company! Totally unreliable. The one time I did get them to come out, they told me they were going to charge me one price and came back 10 minutes later and charged me $65.00 more. I was so pissed and rushed at that point that I didn't argue and say, hey you just told me a different price. Whatever. I will never use them again and if you are reading this....do yourself a favor....CALL another company. this company over charges IF THEY EVEN SHOW UP!

Had an issue on a Saturday and called A-Plus. The technician listened to our issue, asked for a picture of our panel and troubleshot (and fixed) the issue. He did this all via phone - no service fee!! This is the kindest, most helpful company. They've won new customers today!! We will also be recommending them to our friends.

Was quoted $150 over the phone to rewire a couple fans. Instead, they were here for an hour and fixed NOTHING, and charged us $150 to tell us what we already knew!! THANK YOU FOR NOTHING! Outrageously high prices! Do NOT believe the quote they give you over the phone!

I had a light go out in the bathroom, I called them, their technician had me go through some troubleshooting steps on the phone and had my light fixed in 5 minutes! I would highly recommend them. He could have sent someone out and charged me easily, but had the good heart to make sure it wasn't something simple first.

Gave them a call for a 15amp breaker that tripped due to overload, and would not reset. I assumed a visit by an electrician was going to be required, but rather than just book an appointment, he graciously taught me that sometimes breakers need a push to the right, even if they seem to be all the way over, to reset. Saved me time and money...absolutely appreciated!!

My water heater stop working on a Saturday. I called a place that I have used in the past but they would have charged $194 to come out on a weekend and the earliest appt they had was tuesday. I saw A+ on google and checked out their webpage, I liked what i saw so I gave them a call. It was the best decision I made! They came all the way to South Tampa from New Tampa within a few hours. Fixed my water heater pretty fast, even though it took some extra diagnostic skills. He was very friendly and professional. The best part was, it was only $142. I was very impressed with his professionalism and I would certainly recommend them to anyone in Tampa Bay.

Overall good experience with this company. The techs were friendly and the work was done well. There was an original miscommunication resulting in a small overcharge, however this was appropriately handled by Andy who was very polite and helpful. I would use this company again.

I had a problem installing a new wall light switch to replace one that had worn out. The wiring in my house is old, which complicated the installation. I was resigned to spending $85 or so to have someone come to my house and do the installation. When I got A Plus on the phone the electrician asked me a few questions about how I was doing the installation. He soon realized what the problem was and told me how to fix it on my own. I did that, but send him $10 in the postal mail anyway.

Horace was able to respond very quickly, preventing a hazardous problem (wild voltage) from damaging our home and appliances. The prices are very reasonable and he only charged me the service charge since TECO needed to fix the problem on the outside.

I just bought my first home and have been really nervous about being taken advantage of whenever I hire companies to help me with things that need to get fixed or changed. Last night I decided I wanted to learn to be "handy" so I changed a light fixture on my garage by myself and woke up to none of the front downstairs lights working. Considering all the expenses of a new house and the upcoming holidays, I was really stressing out all day about what my attempt at handiwork was going to end up costing me and what kind of damage I did. This evening when I got home from work, I called A Plus American Electrical. Horace spent time on the phone with me, walked through everything I had done and what was going on, did some troubleshooting with me over the phone, and figured out that I had tripped a breaker and walked me through how to fix it. The fact that this company cared more about helping me than by taking advantage of the situation and just automatically sending someone out and charging me speaks volumes about the moral character of their company. They have officially gained my trust and I will be using them in the future for my upcoming projects and recommending them to my friends.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! first hired the company to install three fans and 7 lights. They arrived hours late and did not finish the first day and had to come back. We decided to give them one more chance and hired the company to hang a $1000.00 chandelier. At a rate of $95 an hour they claim to be licensed, bonded and insured. The men dropped and BROKE the chandelier but promised to fix it. When we expressed concerns about the chandelier being fixed and all the broken parts replaced to look new, the owner told us he couldn’t promise the light would look new. So I asked if the light would not look right then I wanted it replaced. It was an expensive piece, we spent a lot of money, and thought I hired a good company to install. The owner refused to replace it and began to give attitude. How does a company break something and not replace it. I wish I could give zero stars. I will be telling everyone not to use the company. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
