Set up an appointment for 8am Monday, June 11th. At 8:45am He still hadn't arrived for walk through, so we called to ask what was up. They said He had a "schedule mixup." Took off work to be here for someone who never showed up or called. We cancelled this subpar contractor in favor of a more professional company, I advise you find someone else to do business with.

I have been using D&L to service my residential generator and do other little electrical problems that creep up, for the last 3 years. The outfit is not a huge commercial chain, so you get that awesome mom and pop service feel. From the moment you call, the great customer service feel starts with Jeannie the office manager. Jeannie is prompt, and can schedule you in rather quickly. Her demeanor is professional, yet personable. The workers that come out are typically the same, and they are all great. I usually get Joe and John. Both are knowledgeable, personable and explain what they are doing. Because this is a smaller outfit and you are likely to get the same workers, they have an intimate understanding of what's going on with electric in your residence. Lew, the L in D&L has been out in the past to make sure things are smooth and he carries the same great attitude as everyone else (I've never interacted with Dianne, so I can't speak of her. But, I can only imagine she has the same great attitude). I saw one review that said workers left fingerprints and what not in their house. The workers have been in my house and have never left a mess and always clean up after their job. I could go on and on about how great this company has been for me. Pricing is reasonable as well. To sum this up, great company and if you have a problem with them, then the problem may be you.

I hired D & L to redo the electrical in my new kitchen. They came out a total of 3 times. The first time they brought in no drop cloths, got my living and dining rooms floors dirty, and only when I asked them did they bring in drop cloths. In addition, they got fingerprints around 4 of 6 can lights in my freshly painted kitchen and ceiling, and got dirty fingerprints all over my new bathroom light fixture that they hung. The problems continued. The lead guy miscommunicated how many dimmers were needed for the kitchen, adding $$$ to the bill at the end. He was also incredibly confrontational when I brought that up. I complained about all of the dirty hands to management, and yet again, the third and final time they came out, I have dirty fingerprints on my freshly painted dining room wall, and again, that will have to be touched up, as it does not come out with a damp paper towel. Then, on Thanksgiving Day, I find that one of the guys scratched the side of my brand new refrigerator. Of course, that was never called to my attention while they were here. They also hire electrical students in trade school to do their work. I will never use them again. It couldn't have gone worse!
