He told us he would honor the one year service that was part of the purchase of the generator. He had no obligation to do this, but wanted to honor his original contract with the previous owner. When I purchased my home, i had an individual i found in the Yankee Flyer, construct a small office in my basement. Years have pasted and my wife and now are going to downsize (like a lot of people are doing). When we put the house on the market, I found out the construction guy did not take out any permits, he just did the construction - PERIOD. So part of the building permit process is to have an electrical inspection completed by a incensed electrician - that is whyI got JS Electrical involution. i thought they would come, look around and sign off on the building department provide paper i need to return to the building department. But to my delight, they didn't just look around, they took thing apart, check the thickness of the wires, checked how things were connected, and spent time discussing what they found. In addition to all this, they advised me I need one additional electrical outlet because of the electrical code. They installed it on-the-spot so I was legal. I am very please on how they presented themselves, their ability to explain things in a way I could understand and the cost of all of this was very reasonable. I would recommend them for whatever you electrical needs you have.

We had our meter changed by Eversource and the next day started experiencing electrical issues. Lights were flickering, some outlets and appliances and weren’t working or at 1/2 power. Eversource came and said they checked things on their end and everything was fine... They said the breaker was loose/malfunctioning and it was too dangerous to have the power on until it was fixed by an electrician. So, we had no power all night. We have a young baby which made this more of a concern. Looked on Google and found J.S. Electrical which had great reviews. Called them early Sunday morning and no exaggeration within an hour and a half Justin had it fixed and power restored. Felt the work was professional and fairly priced. Even gave us ideas and explanations of how we can make our system better in the future. First time since living here that we had electrical issues and we will use J.S. for any future needs that we have.

We had our meter changed by Eversource and the next day started experiencing electrical issues. Lights were flickering, some outlets and appliances and weren’t working or at 1/2 power. Eversource came and said they checked things on their end and everything was fine... They said the breaker was loose/malfunctioning and it was too dangerous to have the power on until it was fixed by an electrician. So, we had no power all night. We have a young baby which made this more of a concern. Looked on Google and found J.S. Electrical which had great reviews. Called them early Sunday morning and no exaggeration within an hour and a half Justin had it fixed and power restored. Felt the work was professional and fairly priced. Even gave us ideas and explanations of how we can make our system better in the future. Our generator has been down for the past year. Another company tried and tried to fix it. Their latest diagnosis was that it needed a $1500 oil pump. Luckily I called JS Electrical on a Friday and Justin came out the following Monday. He diagnosed the problem as the governor. It had been “Jimmy-rigged” with a wire to limp along. He ordered the part that came in on a Friday right before an ice storm. He came early on Saturday morning BEFORE THE STORM, and fixed the generator — all for 1/4 of the cost. He replaced it and left without fully checking anything else. My dryer shortly started blowing fuses again after that. I called Justin for a quote on a house that I bought. He changed the appointment 2 times. When he came he was very knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about. He said he would get me the quote the following morning but I ended calling him leaving a message since I needed the quote. When he sent me the quote it was very high. He will not work by the hour. He has a system that tells him how long it will take and how much to charge the customer. So if the system tells him it will take 2 hours and the serviceman takes only 1 hour you are still being charged the price that his system told him. This is similar to the auto repair shop system. I did not hire him. I have found 2 other electricians who are much cheaper than J.S Electrical.

We used J.S.Electrical to trace out and label our home electrical panel. Justin and his co-worker were very thorough and professional. They arrived on time and immediately put on dust covers on their work boots prior to entering our home. Tracing the circuits out took approximately 1 hour. On completion Justin reviewed his findings with me and recommendations for any needed corrective action. He promised to have a printed panel circuit legend back to me within a week. Prior to leaving I requested Justin provide an estimate for the corrective work. Justin contacted me within a week to set up a time to stop by and drop off the panel legend and to review the corrective work estimate. The estimate provided had each item detailed for labor and materials. We were very satisfied with J.S. Electric and will use them in the fall to complete this work. Total value of work $1400.00

I had a relatively complicated request of installing a new 240v outlet in the closet of the carport, under pavement, and into a shared condo complex, with as little visible as possible. We also could not add new underground conduit. The total distance from the meter to the outlet was around 200ft. Justin assured me that it would be no problem, and it absolutely was no problem for them. His crew finished everything up in a couple hours, and when I took a look at the final installation it was basically unnoticeable. Definitely very happy with the work!
