Great job with the installations, including solving a serious fire hazard created by some other electrician in the past. Did I mention that they are also fairly priced, on time, polite and professional? Fantastic appointment and notification setup--you're never left wondering if they're going to get to you. Considering how many contractors think their time is the only one that's valuable, and how many can't even be bothered to return a phone call, this company sets the standard. Super job, guys! Update--had to call them for an emergency visit when February's windstorm ripped my meter off my house. Again, super service--can't say enough good things about these guys.

We hired Josh to upgrade our electric panel, install overhead lights and fans in all our bedrooms, add multiple outlets, and an electric car charger. Everything was done with the utmost care and professionalism and the price was great. All of that stuff was done and completed in one day! I had a small job to replace a broken outdoor light with a new halogen spotlight. Really wanted someone local who could do the job in the same day I called. Found AJP Electric on a Google search. Great reviews. Called at 8:30am and Josh arranged an appointment at 4pm that afternoon. Sent a picture of Tyler who was the person coming to do the job. Tyler arrived at 4pm, was very knowledgable and understanding of what needed to be done. Put in a new electric box outside to bring the installation up to code and had the new light installed and working in a short amount of time. My Highest recommendation!!!!

What can I say about AJP Electric? Well, all good things! We are so grateful for this crew to come and help us with our rather large mess of electric problems in our home. Josh being the forerunner and leader was extremely professional, courteous and great at communication. His response time was rapid. Then on to the team that came to our home for 3 days - Tyler, Jim and Justin. They were fantastic! What we thought were problems in our home they embraced the job as if it was nothing. They were impressive. We had lots to do! They upgraded our panel, did outside cleanup work on box, put fans and recess lighting in areas where there were none, replaced switches, cleaned up wire messes, did safety wiring for water heater (which they found!), and on and on with small things. This was a big job for us which we had saved funds for and we felt safe and happy in our home when these men, and did what they needed to do. Respectful, honest, extremely diligent and hard working are some things I would describe them as. We will absolutely use this company again in the future! Picture is living room with fan and recessed lighting that had none previously.

Sorry for the delay in reviewing AJP work. I had some fans, switches, and outlets installed in my house back on August 15. The guys were great. They even let me watch and educated me on wiring and how they are installing the outlets. Friendly as well. Good guys. As for the work, very professional. They listened to my questions and answered my concerns. I thought the job was going to take at least 8 hours but with two guys doing the job it was done in about 5. I would strong recommend Josh and crew. 5 stars!!

Tell me, what contractor puts shoe covers over their shoes to keep dirt off the floor? Josh does and that is indicative of the meticulous work he does. More importantly, Josh is an extremely skilled electrician. He did some electrical work for a rental property we own and his work was outstanding. After doing some online research I contacted AJP Electric about installing undercabinet lighting in my kitchen. I received a prompt response and after sending photos of the area and answering some questions I had an estimate. I decided to move forward with the project and had an installation date the following week. Much to my surprise I received a text message the evening before, as well as the next morning confirming the time of our appointment. Josh contacted me prior to coming to confirm the color of my switches and outlets, and checking to see if a different color was needed. I received one more text when they were in their way. This was a huge plus for me - I've had other electricians blow off appointments in the past. When they arrived (right on time) Josh and Jim introduced themselves and got to work. Both were very personable and pleasant. As a single woman I never was concerned about my safety or my property. Josh explained what he was doing as he went. Several holes were needed in the wall in order to tie into the existing wiring which he had explained to me. They were nicely patched. After they cleaned up I was presented with my total. It was exactly what I was quoted. In addition to showing me the dimmer, Josh went and tried all of the electrical switches to ensure everything was in working order before he left. Both men obviously take pride in their work. As you can tell I am very satisfied and would definitely use them again. (On a side note, one of my neighbors stopped over while they were here. She asked for their card, as they had an issue with an overhead light. After a few questions, Josh offered to take a look. He resolved their issue within about 10 minutes and they too were pleased.)

Not so with AJP electric! Here are the seemingly easy rules - all of which were completed: 1. Have a pleasant person answer the phone - someone who sounds like they are happy to have your business. CHECK 2. Take the time to travel to the location and give an estimate CHECK 3. Arrive on time CHECK 4. Give estimate before you leave CHECK 4. Have easy technology that makes everything clear (email with estimate clearly stated and a way to accept or deny the proposal) CHECK 5. Have the estimate be reasonable CHECK 6. Have office personnel follow through when you say they will follow through CHECK 7. Be a kind, professional and personable business owner. (Josh did the estimate himself and was super pleasant to work with) 8. Have the electricians assigned to the job arrive on time CHECK (BTW - The two men who arrived at my job - one was a licensed electrician and the other was getting his license in less than a month) 9. Have highly skilled workers CHECK 10. Have kind professional people do the job. CHECK 11. Clean up after you are done CHECK (They swept, fixed the holes in the walls that we knew about ahead of time and they even took all the trash away!) 12. Charge what you said you would charge (unless there's something unexpected that comes up of course!) CHECK . Just could not be happier. Have used AJP electric several times now. Josh is easy to reach and does nice work. He’s nice enough to tell you when you don’t need something done or will find the easiest (cheapest) solution to your problem. Only thing is he’s like every other electrician, he’s very busy! When I need something done or an estimate I can text him which I prefer to do. It’s easier to communicate on both ends.

I called several electricians to get an estimate on wiring a home office for me. Only AJP returned my call and set up an appointment. Appt set up, I received an email confirming my appt and again when he was enroute. Josh was very knowledgeable and the estimate was received within an hour of him leaving. I went with AJP to do the work. On the day of the scheduled work I received another message stating the crew were on their way and estimated arrival time. The work proceeded with no surprises and the two men working never stopped until the job was done, almost 3 PM. I am more than pleased and will hire them again for future projects. It comes down to communication, quality of work, and their willingness to work on small jobs. I'm honestly surprised other electricians are still in business when they don't have the courtesy to return calls.

AJP came highly recommended by a friend. We just had them install a bunch of new recessed lights, add some much-needed outlets, upgrade to a higher-amp service, and a few other things. Josh was very efficient, finishing our to-do list in 3 days. We (and our friend) were impressed by his creative approach to some of our wiring conundrums, limiting how much wiring needed to be run and holes made in walls ('bluetooth'-style switches!
