I recently purchased a space heater that my dog promptly chewed through the power cord. Finding someone to make such a small repair was proving to be difficult & costly but then I found AJP. All within the span of an afternoon I dropped the heater off, Josh repaired it expertly and I picked it up! Josh was professional, very reasonably priced and extremely accommodating! We are part of a special program to help veterans called the Purple Heart Homes project. It was PHH who contracted with Josh for our electrical projects. We are very thankful for their selection of a team who were not only professional and beyond competent, but cordial, compassionate and friendly. Our project was not without some challenges. We have lived 16 years without being able to afford or complete these projects. Enter PHH and AJP Electric as our heroes. Even though, because of some of the unexpected challenges, Josh could not address all of them on our scheduled date, his promises to return and help us with our challenges is one that I know will be kept. My dad owned his own business in Hartford for over 65 years. He had two sayings that I was brought up with, which are very meaningful to me. They tie in together. One was that our family takes care of your family.... the other was that it was his name on the door and so every single thing that went through that door reflected on him as a human being and so he gave it his all. I see that same sort of pride, diligence and commitment in Josh. Giving AJP electric a 5 star rating is probably under rating. Josh and his team are very deserving of praise.

Good electrician! I called him that part of house had no power. After asking a few questions, he found that that the meter socket might be problem and asked to call eversource. Later he followed up with me about this issue. I would definitely recommend him!

Josh of AJP Electric literally brought light and lightness into my home. He and his assistant, Tyler installed 5 recessed lights, replacing an old fixture. They replaced under cabinet lighting and an over the table light fixture. All this they did in a calm, thoughtful, and professional manner. AJP was very responsive to my electrical work for a bathroom remodel project as well as several smaller wiring tasks. For my bathroom, Josh installed the hardware and wiring for a ventilator fan, also adding new outlets and light switches. All hardware was properly installed and thoroughly tested. From now on, I will use AJP for all of my electrical work.

Josh did such an excellent job last month putting in ceiling fans we had him come back this month to replace 2 more ceiling fans, put in recessed lighting in the kitchen and living room and replace the dinning room light. Josh installed four exterior lights on my home within the last few months and is returning to help with an electrical wiring problem affecting one side of my home. Each time I contact Josh he responds with 10 minutes and arranges to get the work done within a day or two. This is imperative as I lease out the second floor of my 2 family home and I never want my tenants to be left in the dark! We don't have to worry about that since AJP Electric is always prepared to handle anything.
