Used to be a great company. I've used their tools for years. Now it seems like the customer service is terrible and the tool quality is declining compared to other brands. I had a drill break after six months of normal use and they refused to honor the warranty. If you read it carefully the warranty basically covers nothing.

I bought a crazy expensive sawzall. It was a brushless type with a hd 9.0 battery and charger. Two months later my battery burned out. When I have a bad experience with something I usually just deal with it and never use that brand again. That had been the case previously with Milwaukee. This Sawzall was me testing the waters to see if anything had changed... and I was really upset when this happened. —— well I finally decided this was just too expensive to just let it fly like before. I showed up to this place ready to vent and just make a whole show if they gave me a hard time ... well they didn’t give me a hard time at all it took about 10 min and I was in my way with a new replacement battery ....happy...the down side was I had to drive out there

Poor customer service. Went to take in my Milwaukee backpack that I had for 2 years. Went to have the stitching re-stitched and zipper fixed but they didn't want to take because I didn't have a receipt. The backpack has lifetime warranty. Backpack was purchased 2 years ago! How am I suppose to still have the receipt for something paid for 2 years old?! I then asked for a business card, her response was, "for what?"....really? She was just plain rude!! Heads up people keep your receipts on a lifetime warranty product. You might need it 10 years from now when you need to take your tools in for service.

Being the only warranty location in the Atlanta area you have no choice. If you expect technical support for the tools that you spent your hard earn money, think twice. Drove 1 hour to drop off a flashlight that had the base separated. Technician told me that that it would not be covered because it had been dropped, reminded him that Milwaukee advertise the tool as impact resistant(9foot height per their advertising) and built tough. Received a call several days later that my tool was deemed not warrantable due to normal wear and tear. The estimated repair would be $63, the tool cost $79 new. Disagree with the determination and called back, was told by the technician that it was not warrantable because it was normal wear and tear , he also stated that they tested it by dropping from a height and it didn't break, I must have done something drastic. I am an airframe mechanic with 5 years experience in the Marines, 15 years experience in the automotive industry I know what drastic tool abuse is. How the hell can this guy tell me that I abuse the tool when the light didn't have but a fall from the under carriage of a vehicle no more than 4ft of the ground . My loyalty to Milwaukee is in question when their service facility has such disregard for a customer and won't stand by their products. Nothing but heavy duty until it is not.

The Milwaukee rep is in the isle talking to customer and I overhear him mention something about HD not having the item but the Milwaukee store in havertown would. I jumped in and said don’t waste your time they are closed. They are always closed. At this point because of my close proximity to the store I’m pretty sure it is a money laundering front. Oh well. Also pretty sure I have more Milwaukee tools than the store does. Hope they are open on the week between Xmas and New Years when I’m off. But probably not, probably resting form all the Xmas sales they did.

They can be a little busy at times but they are always helpful. I have had to warranty out a few tools and they have always been good about it. I have never had a warranty denial of any kind. There is literally anything you could possibly want made by milwauakee sold here. The selection is the best you'll find. However, expect to pay absolute full retail price. The staff is friendly, but the turnaround time on warranties is very slow and the hours of operation are pretty prohibitive. Expect to bring cash if you want to buy any clearance items or rebuild batteries, it's all they will take.

Great tools I love them but the service center hours are ridiculous. as contractors sometimes were not done until three 330 and then trying to make it to the service center is almost impossible. Saturday hours are needed
