Clif arrived on time. He evaluated my need and quoted me a fair price. He put on shoe covers and began to hang and wire my new ceiling fan. He was worked quickly and was finished in 30 minutes. He cleaned up the area and was on his way. He was very polite while answering all my questions. It was the first time I had used Dixie Electric but would not hesitate to call again. I can't say enough great things about Dixie Electric. I am very picky and very critical about the work done on my home, but I can absolutely say without a doubt that Dixie Electric did everything right. I had an AC put in and a lot of electrical work done, and the whole team worked together to make it happen and did an excellent job. Travis and the AC group did a great job putting in a new unit in my 1933 house. It has reduced my electrical bill significantly. And Chance did an excellent job with several electrical issues that I had done at the same time. The office staff was great as well. I can't say enough great things about Dixie Electric. I will never use anyone but them. Dixie Electric is my hero!!

Extremely overpriced! We paid $69.00 for a tech to come out tof tell us our small project was going to be over $3k. Tech was very nice, but hanging a few lightseconds was certainly not worth that. Made one phone call to competitor and will have it all done for $800.00 and they didn't charge to come out.

They came out to give us an estimate on replacing 2 shower valves, for leaking shower heads, 1 dripping sink and the estimate for over $2000.00. Declined service , after the $75.00 fee for just the estimate, decided to look online for DIY for each problem we needed fixed...was able to repair it ourselves for less than $70.00. An outrageous repair estimate$$$, there should be no charge for just an estimate.

Very professional. Diagnosed the issue rather quickly. Provided possible options for remedy. Called before they arrived. Was a bit disappointed that the directions on how to get to the site and the gate codes I gave the dispatcher the day before when I made the appointment were not recorded/passed on to the technician. This resulted in another dispatcher having to call requesting instructions. But, stuff happens. Ultimately went with another company that had more experience with condo/apartment-style HVAC systems. That being said, I would recommend this company based on the experience I had. Overall very positive.

I have a house that is over twenty years old and everything is falling apart at the same time. (The microwave and fridge are still working-knock on wood). It's a great house with really high ceilings-too high to change the light bulbs! Having Dixie available to do it all means I can could call Dixie when the washer flooded over and there was standing water in the kitchen, the laundry room, even in the living room; I can call Dixie when I need those bulbs changed; and I can call Dixie when my drip pan for my AC overflowed and began dripping out of the ceiling. Invariably, the service people and the receptionists are helpful and kind, non-judgmental no matter whether your home is a kingdom a humble jungle.

I will not call them for anything. They charged me $6,500 to replace a panel box. I called 3 other electricians that will do it for $1,500 & lower!!!! Dixie will take every dime you have! Normal pricing of the work that needed to be done is between $1,000-$1,500, & that’s coming from multiple electricians

I was so glad to find out that Dixie can also take care of the A/C and any electrical work I may need done. So nice to have one place to call for help. We have had two homes covered under the Dixie Cares Plan for several years and recently upgraded two of our four air conditions, replaced one, and Dixie has replaced a kitchen faucet and performed some electric work for us in the past. We have also used Dixie at our corporate office. POSITIVE: The service technicians are always professional, courteous, and helpful. IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITY: On multiple occasions, Dixie has cancelled & only sometimes rescheduled our seasonal systems checks with excuses ranging from (a) unusually high demand (b) weather change causing outages or (c) unexpected delays at a previous customer. Dixie promises Dixie Cares members will receive priority status. However, while we have prioritized Dixie’s visit by scheduling our entire day to be home during Dixie’s 3-hour service window, Dixie has not prioritized our scheduled service call. Instead, Dixie customer service had called on repeated occasions to cancel our scheduled appointment in the last 10 minutes of the 3-hour window. The Dixie Cares Program service commitment is (1) Same Day Priority Service (2) Savings on Repairs (3) Lifetime Warranties (4) Home Value Booster and (5) 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. While we have received discounts on repair items, Dixie has significant room for improvement on fulfilling 100% of their customer commitments.

Tech was friendly, hence the bump to two stars. However, he arrived over an hour late for the appointment. The office called after noon to tell me we were on for our 2 pm appt. At 2:15 I received a call from the main office saying he was on his way. At 2:45 I called to find out where he was and he was 30 mins away still. Showed up just before 3:15 for a 2 pm appt. if I lived at the address being serviced it wouldn’t have been as much of an inconvenience (it was still unsatisfactory, of course), however, I had to leave work early to make the 2 pm appt. Overall disappointing customer service from a management perspective.

Sam C arrived in within 30 minutes after calling Dixie. When 8 other plumbing companies were giving us timeframes of within 5 hrs. Our master bath toilet was leaking water everywhere so waiting that long was not an option. He immediately trouble shot the problem. He gave us a very reasonable price for the repair and that price didn't go higher based on time. He quickly fixed the leak, reseated the toilet, replaced some internal parts. we were charged $1200.00 to install 1 ceiling fan (mounting box from previous fan was already in place, no adjustments were needed or done) -15 minutes, 1 bathroom fan (he unplugged old fan and plugged in new fan) 10 minutes and 1 light fixture to replace old light fixture -13 minutes(no new box was required with this or anything that was installed that day). we provided the fans and the light fixture. we didn't realize how unfairly we were billed until we looked at invoices from Dixie Electric from 1 year ago and the price difference made no sense at all. we were charged $1200.00 for less than an hours work, technician didn't have to install wire, electrical boxes, or any equipment other than what we provided. on a weekday, non emergency call.

Prompt and professional. Very friendly and arrived when they promised. Regretfully, the quoted price for a few simple routine tasks such as replacing a simple light fixture, a bathroom fan and a three way switch was about $1000! These are basic tasks almost any homeowner can do, but I no longer can due to health. After shopping around, I bought the new parts for about $50 and paid a coworker about $150 for less than two hours work. That's just too big a difference!

Great job CJ. I needed a kitchen faucet replaced and an assessment of a leak (suspected ice maker feed line). Turned out that it wasn't the ice-maker feed line...there is a leak with my fridge. He also carefully explained the benefits of a plumbing-heating-ac-electrical management/inspection service. Since there was no contract involved I signed up. The work was done efficiently & correctly. On the high side but the work is guaranteed. I would definitely recommend.

First, they were prompt. When I opened the door I was greeted with a smile and introduction. What impressed me most of all was C J's knowledge of his specialty. He also found the source of my mystery leak that wasn't even plumbing related. He walked in, looked at the situation and said he'd seen something like it before. Water was running down the chimney when it rained, but was traveling to the center of the floor and causing damage there and not near any walls. Needless to say, he saved me lots of time and money. Great technician and great young man. (Even the dogs liked him!)

He told me the price before he started and I agreed. I needed the outlet for a new awning being installed so I did not have time to shop quotes. Knew Dixie was a good company. Still 580.00 dollars for one outlet was very expensive. Should have started shopping earlier for quotes.

Did you know your Dixie electrician can install this camera and motion lights for you on your next appointment?" This sounded great! I have been looking to have some wireless cameras installed. I called for an appointment. First there was a mix up with the appointment date. When the electrician arrived, I was told that the only cameras that Dixie installs is the Ring type doorbell cameras. Dixie does not install wireless cameras. I am highly disappointment. Dixie charges $69 for a service call.

Clif and Dixie Electric exceeded my expectations when they were called to remove 2 old outside ceiling fans and replace them with 2 celling fans I bought from Home De***. Due to 2 defective fans they ended up removing 4 fans and putting up 4 fans at twice the time at no additional cost. I had to go back to Home De*** twice and I was just about to jumped out of my skin yet Clif remained calm. He would not leave until the fans worked perfectly. Roy did a good job checking the plumbing and giving me some great information about a faucet knob. He also shared tips on a toilet I may replace soon. I appreciate his help with other questions about plumbing. Stan did a good job today checking the plumbing in the attic, as well as other areas. I asked him to check the fan in the attic to make sure it was circulating air. He verified that it was running and said that was automatically controlled by the AC unit. I thought it had to manually be cut on. Stan also checked the entire house for carbon monoxide, because one of the detectors had activated and had a blue light flashing. I also thank the young man who brought me a case of AC filters. I am always happy with the service from Dixie Electric, Plumbling, and AC.

The team- CJ and Sam - arrived on time. They were cordial, efficient, wore shoe covers, cleaned all areas after work was completed in installing water heater, explained operation of unit, explained all financial matters, were two very nice and polite gentlemen. The service and technicians I've met are outstanding. They are very courteous and even where booties to keep the indoor floors clean. The down side is they VERY expensive.. you get what you pay for right? I had a total charge of over 200 dollars for a clogged AC drain line that the technician cleared with my own garden hose. No special tools required. Then on request installed a float shut off valve.. later I checked the price and it was a $25 part from Amazon. I have a lot of confidence in their work and knowledge during inspections but cannot stomach the price mark ups.

So impressed with Dixie! Kyle came out on a weekend emergency service call to fix our A/C and could not have done a better job. He explained everything he did and why he was doing it. It took him only a few minutes to diagnose the problem but he checked over the whole system while he was at it and addressed some other preventative maintenance issues while he was at it, but also didn't pressure us about additional services. They're definitely not the cheapest, but they will give you a flat-rate estimate (so you know what you'll be paying before you agree to anything), and they absolutely will stick to that estimate. We wanted our old house with a fuse box redone with a modern breaker panel and some new outlets.They had some major problems with the job that they didn't foresee (at one point they had three trucks here), but they didn't charge us a penny more over the original estimate. They even sent us a fruit bouquet because the job took a day longer than they thought it would. A few months later, half the lights in our house went dead due to sideways rain leaking into the breaker box and a tech came out and replaced one of the main breakers at 10PM, he accidentally left his customer book at the house, called me first thing in the morning, and I was going to be out right where his first job was, so I dropped it off for him...Dixie Electric sent me a $25 gift card to a local grocery store a few days later, along with a personal letter of thanks. I recommend Dixie Electric to everyone I know. Like I said, you can find a cheaper electrician if you want to, but they do it right and truly seem to care about their customers.

He checked everything to determine the problem, found the problem and corrected it in less than an hour. He was so competent I had him fix another plug while he was there. Josh was very polite and apologetic about the pricing and situation, and was receptive to my feedback on company opportunities missed due to flatline pricing. Let it be said that Dixie cares about it's customers and the quality of their service. *Original* Be ready to pay $$$. Customer service was great and timely, but a simple water main leak (splicing two ends of PEX pipe together with a coupling and punch rings) was originally quoted as $700. Needless to say I'll spend the ~$50 on tools and coupling and do the repair myself.....

Terrible experience. They came out to do the work and the technician called me and left me a voicemail to tell me he had completed, I called him back and hour later and left him a voicemail. Never heard from him again. It took over 2 weeks to get someone to email me the report. After that it took another 2 weeks to get a technician to come out and complete the work, which they scheduled with my tenant and kept me in the dark. After they completed the work they immediately charged my credit card they had kept on file from a month before without any sort of authorization or communication from me. And on top of that they over charged me by about $200. After about 3 more days of calling everyday and empty promises, I got it all resolved. Never again.

I was working out of town; my wife called Dixie Plumbing because she noticed a leak in the house behind, the washer and dryer, behind a wall. I called Dixie Plumbing for three reasons: 1) To give additional details regarding where we thought the leak was coming from AND 2) To ensure that the person they sent to find the leak was equipped with a flexible camera with a light also referred to as a borescope. Because I knew that he/she would have to look behind the wall to find the leak, I wanted minimal damage done to the drywall. 3) To ensure that the person they sent to the house located the leak AND stopped it. The customer service person I spoke with ensured me that she would contact "dispatch" to make sure the person who would do the work had a borescope. When I got home, to my surprise the first thing I saw was two large EXPLORATORY holes squares (one at least 24 x 24 inches, and the 2nd was 14 x 14 inches) cut through the closet drywall, not behind the the washer and dryer. Further, no small holes were cut through the inside drywall to actually look into the space behind the interior drywall into the space where water was seeping into both rooms. If you don't know where water is coming from, you can't stop a leak, when the water is leaking. So all in all I was charged a total of $269.00 dollars only to be informed that Dixie Plumbing "thinks" water was running down a pipe from the roof,. In addition to the $269, I have to pay to repair the large holes left in the drywall in the closet. And I'm left with no answer/solution, no source for the water was identified - which will no doubt lead to additional calls in the future to another plumber to start the process over! Disappointed! Especially considering that this work could have been completed with a borescope resulting in much, much smaller holes, and a much smaller bill on both ends - plumbing and drywall repair.
