Burklyn Ballet Theatre is a wonderful summer program that nurtures the whole dancer. With weekly performances, dancers have the opportunity to develop their artistry and technique with the gratification of performing for a live audience. The lovely staff has created a family atmosphere where students are able to bond over their love of dance. I attended the program many years ago as my very first summer intensive, and have recently returned as a counselor. The classes, rehearsals, and performances make this program perfect for any age range, from beginners to professionals.

my daughter has attended the intermediate program the last 2 summers and LOVED IT! She was saying on her first night there ever how much she couldn't wait to return the next summer! Her ballet skills increased immensely each summer and her teachers were always happy to see her improvement when she returned to classes. The instructors really cared about my daughter as a whole person and were so good with all of the kids. My daughter will be attending the full Burklyn Ballet Theatre program and she is looking forward to the next level of training that Burklyn has to offer. Joanne Whitehill is a warm and caring director that somehow manages to remember each dancer from audition to attending Burklyn Ballet Theatre, year to year. She wants every dancer who attends to have the best possible experience they can have and works SO hard to make that happen. Burklyn Ballet Theatre is a wonderful way to introduce your young dancer to a Ballet Summer Intensive program in a caring, safe and FUN environment without a mandatory 5 week commitment. You will never regret sending your dancer to Burklyn Ballet Theatre!

I loved attending Burklyn Ballet as a professional dancer, it was a summer program where I was able to train under amazing teachers, perform weekly, and enjoy the beauty of Vermonts nature all at once. I would recommend Burklyn to any dancer wanting to develop their dance technique and gain performance experience. This is a place where life long friendships are made because of the faculty's attentiveness to each of its students. I look forward to attending this program again.
