I wish i could give 0 stars. The instructor was very rude. These google reviews are fake. The instructor was a old guy named boyles he was very rude and do not give you instruction well while taking the exam. They just fail you so that they can get your 50$ More.

I took my driving test at Mansfield Academy and didn’t pass! I then decided to take it again at A+ academy and I got a 91! The instructor was nice and friendly and even gave me future advice to be a better driver. Would recommend to anyone who has a basic understanding of how to drive.

They are nice but extremely unproffessional and disorganized. We had taken our test and half the class were told they failed, making them think they would have to go retake the test. Then all of a sudden some of them were notified that they actually hadn’t failed and that it was graded wrong due to their own carelessness, delaying the ability to get their certificate to get their learner’s permit. Speaking of learner’s permits, we were promised multiple times that we would recieve the certificate the day after the test. Come the day after the test, we were, again, told that our certificates were ready to be handed out and that we would need to get them at the front desk. When we walked to the front, the lady (Jackie) had no clue we were supposed to get our certificates. Going to DPS to get our learner’s permit takes a lot of time since we need specific parents there at specific times with specific forms. Many of us had already planned on getting our permit as soon as possible and had already told our parents that we were going to recieve our certificate that day. (Keep in mind that we cannot get out learner’s without that certificate.) Patty, an instructor praised within these reviews, had stepped in. She was annoyed at us and said she didn’t think they were ready. Why were we told it would be ready by our teacher if they weren’t ready?? This place obviously lacks communication within their employees. Jackie had told us she was getting it, making us think that they were ready. Who were we to believe? Patty, the old woman yelling at us, Jackie, the young girl working the counter, or our teacher, who we have been listening to for the past week? Jackie brought out our certificates, blank and waiting to be filled out by them. Why weren’t they ready? They definitely had time to fill them out as we were in class for two hours that day. What was Jackie doing for those two hours? And why was Patty yelling and being rude to us if we were promised something we didn’t recieve? If anything, we should have been rude to her. She didn’t apologize for, I don’t know, wasting our time? Making us believe we would get our certificates that day? This place is a mess.

I give this place 5 stars for the quick and efficient service. I took the driving test here and easily passed. If you are second guessing yourself if you want to take the test at a dps or here... take the test here. If you know the basic safety rules on driving then you will easily pass. The instructor is nice and will help you calm down before the exam if you are nervous.

I took lessons last summer and they did not pay my teacher Ms.Angela for all her hard work and trouble she went through to get me where I am today. She had to stand in front of everybody asking for her check and i was embarrassed for her. She was a amazing teacher.

Very surprised I had an awful experience here. Booked a road test appointment and thought I successfully cancelled more than 24 hours prior over the phone due to a vehicle issue. Receptionist wrote my information down and informed me that I was going to get a call back to reschedule but my phone calls/voicemail was passed over or ignored over the course of 3 weeks. No one knew who I was when I tried to call again recently. After hours receptionist was rude and gave me a lecture about not cancelling road tests. I do not understand what the problem is when I was told prior they were the ones that would call to reschedule but I was disrespected when I tried to call. Dishonest and unprofessional company. Lost money for no reason. I will not be coming back.

Kathy, my instructor was extremely nice and was the reason I was calm during the test! I was so nervous before but she told me to breathe and it then went smoothly. I strongly recommend this school for a road test as she was patient and stated instructions very clearly.

When my husband took the driving test they let my son translate for him but when I took the test they told my son “GET OUT OF THE CAR”. They didn’t even asked if need translation they just told my son to get out of the car. We even asked if he can translate for me they said YES. But when we got in the car they told my son to get out of the car. They were really rude.

I normally dont leave reviews but I had to with this place. I agree this place doesnt even deserve a star. I called for 2 weeks left numerous messages, sent 4 emails, and even physically drove up there. When i drove up there they were suppose to be open and they weren't. The lady doing "practice" driving was getting ready to leave with a student and said she didnt know the office was even going to be closed that day it was a Thursday. She would not help me in making an appointment. She then told me they would be closed Friday and Monday (Labor day) to try on Tuesday. Well, gut instinct I called on Friday and someone FINALLY answered after 2 weeks!! (So therefore I was lied to about them being open the next day) They finally scheduled a test for a week and half later. Today day of test my son gets an email confirming his appointment at 11:55am. He practiced all day and nerves were set in. 30 mins before time to drive they call to cancel and want to reschedule for 2 weeks later. Im beyond furious how this place is being ran and plan to go thru whatever steps that are needed to see that they dont keep treating their customers like this. I understand things happen and the test had to be rescheduled but why push it out another 2 weeks?

Lovely experience! Before, I took my drivers test at the DMV and they were very rude and impatient. They were strict on grading me and they failed me. However, I came to this academy and Mrs. Harris was my instructor. Throughout my drivers test, she gave me advice about how to become a better driver in the future and she was more lenient on grading my driving skills. She also gave me motherly advice when I finished my test. :)

She made sure I was comfortable and gave me tips before, during and after the test to ensure I was keeping myself and others safe while on the road. Not only did she give me driving advice but also life advice to make wise decisions that I will carry with me throughout my life. THESE PEOPLE DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!!! Exactly like some of the other reviews say they are COMPLETELY disorganized and unprofessional and VERY RUDE. The instructor was late many times, one of the times she was late was because she didn’t have batteries for her computer mouse. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS At the moment of payment they wrote the receipt out to my name (the parent) then when it was time for my daughter to start the classes they “couldn’t find” proof of payment. So I went there and showed the copy of the receipt they provided when I made my payment in full and Liz apologized about the inconvenience and said she usually writes the students name and not the parent and said I was good to go. On day 16 they give my daughter a note saying that she needed to pay the balance when we CLEARLY PAID IN FULL. When we spoke to the manager at the office that day (the old mean woman I think her name is Patty) she was unbelievably rude and nasty to us. She got very upset when we showed proof of our receipt and told us well this needs to have her name and not the parents name AS IF THATS OUR FAULT, we didn’t write the receipt ourselves??? Save yourselves a huge headache and go to a different driving school spend your hard earned money somewhere they aren’t going to be rude and disrespectful because of course these classes don’t come cheap. And if you have unfortunately already signed your teen up at this location SAVE YOUR RECEIPT because they might accuse you of nonpayment.

I believe Ms Angela already did helped my son and other My son has just finished his driving lessons with her on 21August 2018.He came home and tried to tell me what he studied.He thought i didn't know.Iam happy to know that my son is growing up after her lessons. This is by far the best driving school in Arlington. The management was really cordial and uber flexible. They really care about customer's need. I was taught by Ms. Patty. She is a kind person and gave me lots of tips which really helped me to get accustomed to the traffic. Also the road test part was hassle free and went smooth. My overall experience here is great and i would definitely recommend this school if anyone wants to learn driving in a friendly environment.
