I started my new career as a truck driver today and wanted to take the opportunity to thank affordable CDL in Colchester. They are a family business that really is a family, including an occasional visit from their dog! Seriously, Terry is a fountain of information and experience, Brian and Wayne are detail oriented and will give you honest feedback and encouragement, and Michele will cater a schedule to fit your needs for work and family. For us they even cooked out to make the hot summer days more bearable and enjoyable. Finally this is for the people who think they can't make it to Colchester. Myself and others who did not have a car at the time, got the shuttle to and from Hartford and George picked us up and dropped us off without ever a negative word. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR, DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU! They really teamed up to help the group us get through in any way they could. Affordable CDL goes above and beyond for there students. I will mention they cost half of what the other guy costs, but that's not what makes them great. Thanks

I got my Class A CDL at affordable and I’m so glad I picked them. So flexible with my schedule! Worked with me in areas that I just couldn’t get down pack. My son attended Affordable CDL training over the last 6 months. They were so great to work with, very accommodating of his schedule. I paid over time and they were great to work with. My son was supposed to test on May 20th, but they had an opening earlier and he was ready so they offered him an early test spot. Due to their training he aced his CDL test. Affordable cdl is the best they give you the tools and help you need to pass everything the teachers are great and very helpful they teach you how to correct everything you need help on and the people are all hands on real world people I give them A+++ I recommend them for your CDL schooling

Affordable CDL in my experience so far has been great. All of the instructors have been nothing but nice and patient. They do a great job preparing you for the test. If you listen and pay attention then you will pick things up quickly. Wayne and Brenden are both outstanding instructors, and very easy to talk to and get along with, they also share their experience and stories. I truly believe that anyone who has a problem with the instructors or the course is a moron.

Want to say thank you to Michelle Terry George and the instructors Brandon and Wayne for getting me ready to get my CDL and I passed with flying colors first time around. Very laid back school. If you work with them they will definitely work with you. A lot of one on one time. I signed up for night classes only but they even encouraged me to come on the weekend also, which was great and got way more time than I paid for. Trucks are old but after all the abuse they get from inexperienced students they get the job done. Overall I'm very pleased with the experience at Affordable CDL School and will recommend anybody looking into the trucking industry to them.

I am very please with everyone at Affordable CDL training school, from my first call everything was exactly what they said it would be, Michelle is a awesome lady she believe in me way more than I believe in myself, and that motivate me even more, Terry is a genius in the class room and on the course, once he explain something I didn't feel like I need to try it, it feels like i already know it, because he have a great way of breaking it down, and my favorite, George! The school wouldn't be what it is without him, i must say he scared me on my first week but after I found out that he doesn't mean a thing, he was my best buddy and I had him scared of me for the rest of my stay there, overall real nice people, thanks to all you guys and I recommend this school any day.

These people lie an awful lot and put on a great act when you first get there. You hardly spend anytime in the truck and end up paying $3,800 to borrow their truck for a test. On top of that the owner "George" and most of the workers are super shady two faced people that you'll wish you never met. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, and lie about who owns the school for a reason. The story gets worse but I'll spare you the details. Their trucks are garbage and they lie about how much time you'll get practicing. They want all the money up front which doesn't make it very "affordable". They have no respect for their students but they'll be happy to take all your money. I hope this helps. It really sucked and I lost a bunch of money. I just taught myself and I'm moving on away from negative B.S people. Good luck to you.

Great school for a contractor to attend you can come here when ever you want they have classes early morning to late night the teachers are very helpful and they make it very affordable to come here and make payments it's a great school for people who want to start a driving career I would definitely recommend this affordable CDL to anyone who asks

If your looking to get your CDL. Great place to go. Michele is wonderful to work with, and will help you with anything. Terry is great in the class room very knowledgeable and will break it down so no matter what you understand it, also great on teaching you how to drive and understand what your doing and why. George is also a wonderful person and has a heart of gold and does what he needs to do for you to succeed as well. Wayne is a good instructor. As a whole this is the place to get your CDL at a very fair cost that everyone on any budget can make happen. Thank all you guys for personally working with me and going above and beyond to help me fulfill my goals and achieve what I set out too... very much great people and treat you like family, a place like no other...

Straight up hands on type of schooling, you find out within the first week if this is for you or not, the instructor is very patient with you and takes you threw step by step and he has a really cool acient, old english acient almost sounds like hes from australia...

BEST CDL SCHOOL IN NEW ENGLAND!! I CAME TO THIS SCHOOL WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF TRACTOR TRAILERS OR PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND AFTER FOUR MONTHS I AM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE AQUIRERED MY CLASS A CDL LICENSE. Absolutely love this school ! If you dont let George get the best of you, you will find it to be a great place to learn. He means well. Wayne was a great instructor and will make sure you are ready to face the inspectors. I have to move on to my career now but I sure am going to miss everyone over there.. 5 stars all day long
