So much faster than the DMV! The main reason I am a member is the DMV services offered. I tried to get the same thing done in town and waited two hours and didn't get close to the front of the line. Went to AAA and was out the door in 25. Even with the travel time back and forth it was faster.

I usually book my own reservations at Motels or Hotels. This summer my wife and I are planning a driving trip to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. I had trouble finding the right accomodations that would suit us. Rob from AAA did a magnificent job in locating the right places for us. AAA Narragansett has consistently delivered best user experience through the years, from getting insurance to getting license renewed. Recently I used their services to get foreign currencies for work trips abroad and it has been great! Easy transaction, all paperwork done within 15 minutes and best of all a call when money were ready to be picked up. Very knowledgeable and polite staff too!

It's convenient, but is now swamped with DMV customers, and the staff, especially one manager, is showing the strain. Last time I went to return a plate I had to wait an hour. I went a couple days ago to get some gift cards and had to wait while a generalist served a DMV customer. There never seems to be a good time to go. Pity.

For many years we have been enjoying the excellent service provided by AAA's Narragansett, RI office with such personnel as Steve for example. Recently, my wife and I showed up close to closing time and Katherine Renehan walked us through the process of getting an up-to-date registration, a really important matter for us. Her familiarity with all the requirements of the RI DMV and her calm attention to all the details were truly outstanding.

Arrived in reasonable amount of time. Not knowledgeable of how to remove spare tire from car. Broke release handle on release device. 3 different phone calls to reach Customer Service regarding repair of damaged equipment. This simple "changing a flat tire" is developing into an ordeal.

This office is a well run, friendly, efficient and totally pleasant place to do business. I have renewed my license there and later had the license redone because of a change in address and each time the entire procedure took no more than fifteen minutes. The staff are glad to answer your questions and help you get forms filled out and are really friendly and upbeat while doing so. I have also gone into the office to buy gift certificates during the holidays and when it was crowded, staff members came over from other departments to help out and they had staffers working the lines with fliers describing purchasing options and answering customers' questions before they got up to the counter so the line moved really quickly. Getting stuff done at the division of motor vehicles can be a trial. Getting the same things done at this AAA office is a pleasure and it gets done so quickly. Great service, very convenient and excellent people!!!

We've not had auto trouble but we go to AAA for car rentals are amazingly less expensive. Then instead of dealing with the unfriendly bureaucrats at DMV we renewed our drivers licenses in a tenth the time at AAA.

I used the service AAA provides to Rhode Island residents to renew my driver's license in a very timely fashion for a change. It is a wonderful service for those of us who live in South County. When I went to leave, I discovered that I had locked my keys in the car (1991 Mazda Protege) and had to return to the agency to call for road service. I waited just as long as was predicted, but the emergency vehicle driver could not locate the agency in the large shopping center, so the lady who was in charge of the incident walked around the corner to help him find the way. Now that is what you might call "excellent service"! I am very happy to be a AAA member.

I prefer going for my here than the registry for my license and registration renewals as it is quick and easy. I have gotten trip-tix, tour books, foreign driver's licenses and more here. I highly recommend them. Easy parking too.
