I went for an address change ONLY and she accidentally charged me for a license renewal and I was there for almost 45 mins (not busy) , but that's a simple mistake .. what led to the low review was that 1. She didn't ask me if I wanted to change my picture or Not(which I didn't , I have done this before). 2. She checked my vision and didn't clean the forehead rest which was disgustingly filthy ( I had to wipe with my finger two times ) 3. Didn't give me the option to retake the picture which was not a cute one at that !.... but I give them 2 stars because they still seemed friendly .

Outstanding service ! AAA is worth more than its weight in gold. I have not had the opportunity to use the service for a car issue yet but have used some of the discounts at some local venders but most recently I used the service of renewing my drivers license and I will never step foot in the RI DMV ever again if I can help it. I was in and out in 15 min. The whole process was effortless. No long lines or even trying to figure out what line to stand in. The paperwork was simple to fill out the customer service employees were very friendly and smiled. If you ever been to the RI Dmv you know they never smile. I hope all the services AAA provides will be the same professional services as it was when I renewed my license.

With the Plus membership there are many benefits I've taken advantage of -- some unfortunate like the 100 mile free tow service ! -- others very fortunate with their excellent travel books, maps and information, including excellent made to order customized TripTiks. I called AAA Cumberland and spoke to travel agent Tracey Barbieri. I should refer to her as a "travel specialist" because she truly is. I had booked a trip with her last year to Italy--which was awesome--and was planning my next trip for 2015 to Spain. I had received an email during the day from Trafalgar Tours, saying if I booked a trip before Friday I would receive a 10% discount. Well, I couldn't get to her office that day because I was working late. So I sent her an email from my iPhone with a link to the trip I wanted to take. I just gave her my preferred departure date. She had all my other information from last year. By mid-afternoon she called me and said my trip was booked and she even got me a good deal on round-trip airfare! All I had to do was go in the next day and sign some forms. My thanks to Tracey for once again making my vacation plan as important to her as it is to me...

I needed to get a registration reprinted quickly. DMV wasn't available. I was (an am) thrilled that AAA does this, and I was able to get the registration. The woman said it was $18.50. I didn't look at the receipt when I signed it (my fault). It was for $20. There was a $1.50 service fee. I get it. I have no issues with it, but she should have said it was $20. All in all, as I said, I'm thrilled that they provide the service.

I have always had good service from this Cumberland office. Its is very easy to get to and it makes it a lot easier to do my registry business with AAA than having to go to Woonsocket or Cranston to have things done and wait for hours. AAA has made my life a lot easier. I have been a member since 1980 and continue to use them as needed in cases of emergency.

I called during hours of operation in the afternoon of February 20th numerous times that the AAA Cumberland was open to speak to someone in the travel department. No one picked up the telephone no voice mail was available all the phone did was ring. Very disappointing since you pay for the membership.

just left AAA disapointed as usual wated over two hours for service when it was finally my turn they could not help me because they said the disney web site was down . really they could not have told me that when i first got there. the last time i was there i just wanted a train schedule to Boston they were unable to provide me with one . i have been a AAA member for over twenty years i dont no why i keep my membership i have been disapointed before . your service is horrible . sincerly john berthiaume

The agents who helped me during my most recent visit to AAA in Cumberland were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I needed to have a triptik made. The new format is quite different from the old one. It seems that it's just a printout of the GPS verbal instructions. This method does not work well for the driver! Allow me to explain: GPS verbal instructions are given as the car reaches certain points along the route, whereas the printout is "blind" to the car's coordinates. The printed out instructions make no sense, and give too much information, for example, ("drive .4 of a mile. Merge with Rte XXX/Such 'n such Road/ Rte xxxW. Enter (new state). Drive 54 miles.) The information is only useful if given at timely intervals. And who the heck can remember what their odometer read? or when 54 miles is up? Did I reset the trip meter or not? You need a navigator, which I did not have. My message to you, AAA, is: Go back to the simple, straighforward triptik. This new version is DANGEROUS. Thanks for "listening."

The customer service person access the DMV's website and keyed in the required data, gave me an eye test and took my picture. I paid my fee and walked out at 9:14 am. I was very pleased with the level of customer service at this location. Needing to renew my passport, I stopped in for a photo. I was greeted courteously and promptly. Once my photo was taken, the staff member was kind enough to give to me the passport renewal application. He also shared the fact that AAA does not charge a fee for Euros as long as a minimum amount is met. I returned to this same branch to renew my license. The process of the eye test, new photo and payment took less than 10 minutes.
