I went to AAA to renew my vehicle registration. There were 2 people in the line in front of me but with 2 clerks behind the counter I was addressed within a few minutes. Once I explained the reason for my visit my new registration and license stickers were in my hands, and I was out the door within 5 minutes! What a wonderful, and far cry from the DMV experiences I've had. Bless you AAA.

Good customer service. The DMV services alone are worth the price of a membership, but the other benefits don't hurt either. The building and surrounding area is always clean. Parking is directly in front of the entrance, and every time I have been here parking spaces were available. Nothing to complain about at all.

I recently booked a very expensive trip for my Granddaughters graduation gift. Wasnt told any restrictions that applied to my reservations and when I tried to reach my booking rep with concerns and questions was not able to do so after many unreturned emails. Apparently she no longer works for this office and I was never contacted to let me know who took over my booking! Too late and expensive to cancel my trip. Will never go thru AAA or at least this office to book a trip!

Through our business, we do many registrations through AAA. The staff at AAA are always pleasant, professional and courteous. Although there was a line, it did move quickly. They are always willing to help you in the process. Having someone checking to make sure that you have the right forms is a huge help so that when you get to the counter, you are good to go. I had been recently in AAA a few times and they remembered who I was. That is the kind of service that you appreciate. Thanks for your efforts.

Service was excellent at the AAA building, but the Trip-Tik I received was not. I contact AAA to put together a Tri-Tik for a vacation at the Finger Lakes in NY. I was hoping I would receive a package that would be full of information about the area. Instead I received a package with a detailed mapped route, a New York State guidebook , that had little to do with the Finger Lakes, and a Finger Lake brochure that was mostly advertisements for where to stay. I was disappointed that there was not any other information about the area. I ended up using Trip Advisor the entire time, which was loaded with activities and restaurants. I only wish that AAA could have provided the same type of information. After all, I pay about $150 per year (four memberships) to AAA and Trip Advisor is free!

HOWEVER I believe AAA should not recommend/partnered with Hertz since they will NOT rent a vehicle to anyone unless they have good credit & seeing as how AAA is affordable to most folks its not fair that not all folks get the same treatment, after all I am not buying a vehicle I am renting it. Renewing the registration for our family car was a "breeze" at Cranston's AAA office the other day. I know, the DMV is only 2 miles up the road but the friendly folks at AAA make things a lot more comfortable ! They check your paper work, and if you need forms, they can provide missing forms. Always ready to assist and not make you feel like "number 1478 to window 12"; this is my choice for registry business.

I visited AAA on Reservoir Ave, in Cranston twice this week, first to renew my car registration and the next time was to purchase tickets for the Cinema. The person behind the desk was pleasant and the Registry area was fast moving. I was able to complete both transactions within 10 minutes during my lunch hour. Better than waiting at the DMV. You can get your ID/ real ID/license renewal, and car registration here. Trip planning is available to enjoy a nice family vacation and they even sell carry-on luggage at a discounted price for travel. You can get discounted movie tickets too! The employees are very knowledgeable and take there time in assisting you. There is a waiting area with chairs and accesible parking space. It's a great place to get all you need in one spot. Must be a AAA member.

If you need to visit an AAA in rhode island, this is the place to go. Don't waste your time visiting any other location. Cranston AAA has the most efficient, knowledgeable employees.

This place is clean and well organized. It lost two stars because they make the AAA members wait in line with the non-members, I think there should be two separate lines, one for members and another one for non-members since members have to pay at least $55 for AAA membership. The travel agent I met was a joke, I asked for some recommendations for my trip to Canada, she told me to look online and make reservations. She sent me home with a travel guide!

My most recent trip to AAA was awful. I realized that I am paying money for my premium membership for no reason. I could have been a non- member and still gotten my license renewed without any problem. There was only one line for members as well as non members. I had an hour and a half wait before I was able to get to the counter. In addition to that, people were cutting-in the middle of the line and no AAA staff was there to control this. I an considering not renewing my membership for next year since I rarely go to AAA for anything other than registry issues.

Fast and friendly service. You can renew your license, turn in plates, register you vehicle, get a vanity plate, and plan a vacation for when your child completes the drivers class and takes the test to get thier license.

Came here on a Saturday morning to renew my membership and upgrade my service to premier. Process took less than five minutes. The agent who assisted me was very knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Nice small talk conversation. I'm glad I did this in person instead of waiting on the phone. I was also able to order a new membership card without hassle and got a temporary membership card printed as well. I will say however (to be objective) that the line was extremely long for everyone needing DMV services and it seemed like an agonizing wait for that (despite there being alot of employees present), but luckily, I just needed something simple. EDIT: ended up coming here for DMV services, wait was a smooth 45 minutes. I left and went to the East Providence location. Another star taken off for this wait.

I woke the other morning with the intention of renewing my license. There was more of a sense of urgency because the State is putting the rates up as of July 1st, 2014. Big surprise. I dreaded the idea of the RI DMV, then remembered I could do it at AAA. I was in an out in 10 minutes vs the hour plus it would have taken at the DMV; not to mention the horrible attitude from the people working there. I encountered the most wonderful staff at the Reservoir Ave. branch! They were personable, professional, efficient and genuinely empathetic in their handling of me and every person I witnessed them assist. I ended up speaking at length with the receptionist while waiting for the rain to slow down and it turns out she has been with AAA for 20 years...and she was still smiling and happy. Awesome! Five Stars from Me! *****

I stopped by the Cranston AAA office to renew my drivers license. I knew that stopping there would be quicker than going to the registry. It was late morning when I finally got there and there was a substantial line of about 18 people. There were two gentlemen waiting on the people in line so it went fairly quickly. I was waited on, received my temporary license and walked out the door in just under an hour. Hurray!

This location is a disgrace to the AAA community, the absolute worst! Horrible customer service, and extremely unprofessional- manager included. I literally recommend the DMV over this location any day. The conversations I heard and the pure rudeness I experienced was just mind blowing. I had to file a corporate complaint against several people including the manager Jennifer. Not to mention I was harassed by one of the employees on my last visit via social media and feel as though I was treated unfairly due to this previous experience because I did not pursue this representative back. My only advice, use a different location!

This review is based solely on their car insurance. It's literally the worst car insurance we have ever had. First, they made so many mistakes in our policy. They send out random computer generated letters and you have to call to find out what the heck is going on now. The straw that broke the camel's back was finding out that our 6 month renewal was going up over $150 per month. I was told. . all of RI has had a rate increase. Not true!! We got another insurance company today and the coverage is the same and it's way less money. Thank you Jesus for your help.

This is a corrupt organization. I own an auto repair facility in Warwick and on 4/22/19 around 10 am the driver that was supposed to drop my customers vehicle at my station had taken the car to some shop that is bribing him to bring the vehicles to that shop. They left my customer wondering where his car is for hours and when they finally told him where the car was that repair station fixed the car with no authorization. Be aware of AAA drivers sending you car to another mechanic they make deals with

Wonderful addition to have DMV services at the AAA Cranston locale; but loooooooooooong wait time. Took an hour to wait to process license renewal, hotter than I care for, and although the folks at the counter were pleasant, they were slooooooow. I don't like negativity; but I have to wonder if I should stick with the DMV. At least place a fan in the entrance way. Thank you.
