I took driving lessons with this school a couple weeks back and it was a very pleasant and helpful experience for me personally. I have always had anxiety and apprehension when it came to driving and was looking to go to a school where I would feel comfortable, safe, and informative. Ben driving school was just that. The driver is a very nice and professional man who has been doing this for years so he knows what he's doing and that's ultimately the most important factor in getting the most experience for your money. After my first couple lessons I felt like I had benefited a lot from the courses. I have recommended this school to my friends and they have all had equally as pleasant experiences. Too often I hear horrible stories about bad experiences at driving school but luckily that is not the case.

Half a year ago, I already had a decent amount of practice. But when I went into my first test I got anxious and failed horribly. I scheduled a retest and was started getting anxiety thinking about how I failed. With the driver's test coming up in 2 weeks I called up Bens for an appointment. The answeree made it difficult to make an appointment, he insisted I give an address (but I was going to be at an addressless intersection) and doing the appointment the week I called (but I wanted a day or two before the exam). Eventually he let me had my way. The answeree set me up with Juan to be my mentor. He was very professional. He prepared me for the driver's test and made sure I felt confident all within a two hour period (~$70-80). So, with confidence I requested him to chaperone me for the driver's test. The driver's test (~$120 which was mostly to borrow their Yaris) went smoothly. The driver instructor was impressed and wondered how I failed the first time.

I received my license 2 days ago thanks to Ben Driving School. Took the drivers test and passed on the first try. If you want to learn how to drive correctly and parallel park with 2 simple methods this is the place to go to. I am 32 and I finally have my license! They even set me up with a road test in rapid time! The instructor (Ben) I had was great. He really taught me efficient and correct ways behind the wheel. Complete 3 lessons with them and you get certification to take to your auto insurance company for a 20-35% discount. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks so much! Money well spent! Time to hit the road.

Thanks to Ben Driving School I passed my driving test the first time I took it. My instructor Ben was great he prepped me very well on the road and made me feel very comfortable in less than an hour right before my scheduled test and also help me with my concerned area which was the parking part. He taught me a simple parallel parking technique which made it easy for me to pass the test and top of that I didn't have to wait months for the test I got scheduled the next day after I contacted them. Thanks again that was money well spent for fast service and great driving preparations.

Teaching driving tips which is very helpful in the exam and real life. In addition to being bilingual school so they will speak your language. I called this driving school on two different occasions and twice the same person gave me a Total of 70$ per lesson. I confirm a date and time and changed the price to 80-90$. I called back and explained twice I was verbally told 70$ and you said okay and he became rude and said I never came up with that price is 80 or 90$. My mom called and she’s lives across the street from where the driving school is located and he gave her a price of 20$ per hours. Please do not waste your time because they give false prices.

I took about 4-5 lessons with Ben, with no experience driving at all! He was a little strict but I appreciate it and now I understand why. He teaches you a great parking technique In a easy few steps not just to pass the test but for everyday driving! Take your lessons consecutively and listen to what he says and you will pass your test , I am now a happy licensed driver thanks to Ben !!

By reading the "good reviews " about Ben's driving school, I decided to give them a try . I had Ben as my instructor, and he is a very impatient man ! No patience at all ,just yells at you . You cannot be a teacher without patience ! Especially, when you have a student who never was behind the wheel and nervous. Also very touchy with girls . Seems very nice on the phone , but please don't fall for it . I recommend express driving school or safe driving school !

The only reason this place got 3 stars is because of Joe. My step daughter used them and they cancelled her driving test and rescheduled without asking her. Then the women that's handles the appointments was rude to my husband. My niece had a very difficult time with one of the instructors. He was on his phone the whole time and when he wasn't on his phone he was hollering at my niece. The only person in this place that cares and is professional is Joe. Twice Joe had to step in and fix problems that Ben Driving School created for two different customers. Thanks to you Joe.

I failed my first driver's test over a year ago and had since then felt beyond nervous about trying again. At age 25, I finally decided to schedule my second test at the Lawndale PennDOT. This is when I found out about Ben Driving School and booked a two-hour lesson with Mehdi as well as a one-hour practice right before my test, in addition to renting the school's car -- all at very competitive rates and on a flexible schedule. Mehdi was extremely patient, knowledgeable and helpful as my instructor. His parallel parking technique was spot-on. And what's more, I passed the test! I'm so glad I chose Ben Driving School to prepare for it and wish I had known them the first time around. Highly recommended!

The instructor I had was Mehdi and he was the best, so patient and made me feel very comfortable driving. We went over everything I needed to know, we especially went over parking which he made super easy! You also have an hour practice before your road test! Overall I had a great experience, I learned to drive with two instructors. Ben helped schedule my lessons and worked around my work and school schedule. The first day I learned to drive with Juan and he taught me a lot of the basic fundamentals on how a car operates, how to steer the car, and how the car works. The next two lessons I learned with Samir who was also a great instructor, and taught me to control the car, parallel park, and helped me very much with the Levick driving test's route. I took three courses two hour courses and got my license on my first attempt. I would recommend these instructors to anyone looking to learn from the basics.

Our experience with BenDrivingSchool was excellent. With little to no Driving Experience my son was able to pass the road test on the first attempt. Samir is such a worst trainer. I paid him $80 for 2 hour training. He came 20 mins later the time. After five mins driving with him, He started screaming at me for my silly mistakes. I mean, I paid him for making this mistakes because I am learning it. If I knew driving, I would not have to pay him this money for training. At the next block, He started arguing with me at the middle of the road just because I could not push break and gas at the proper time. What the hell????The worst experience ever. This guy does not have any manner to talk to people at all. Never gonna refer anyone to this driving school.

I don't know who great of a teacher this guy or girl is. Driving behind their car on Route 1 and merged into my lane without a turn signal. Then hogged both lanes while trying to speed in traffic. Maybe the driver was late for a class......idiot.

Very effective schooling! My instructor was Samir. (A GREAT TEACHER) I was a new driver. Without much experience AT ALL. I literally took ONE full lesson with them, before taking my test. The first time- was at Bensalem....I took one hour lesson before hand and got to use they're car that I was learning in. (I failed)..... NOT because I wasn't taught amazingly, but because of my anxiety. I was CRUSHED. Ben's quickly rescheduled me for two days later, (I did one more round of one hour practice and used their car and I PASSED!!!! I was SUPER EXCITED!!! I couldn't have done it without them!!!! The only complaint I would make is that their driving instructor-after I passed hounded me for a 20.00 tip and didn't drop me off from the DMV. All in All good school, very effective and friendly. I passed with just 4 hours of lessons and no previous experience ❤️

So I gave Ben a call as directed by a colleague of mine. Within few days Ben called me back with driving test appointment details. One of his colleagues came to my work place to pick me up. My test was scheduled for 3:45pm, I had just 20 minutes of rehearsal with them and had my test immediately. I came out with flying colours and was given my licence same day. Thanks to Ben. I would always refer people to them.

And of course passed easily 2 days later after I got his lesson. Unlike most driving schools, these guys r the best , they aren't rude and do not yell at you and politely teach you. I passed my test today with the help of Mehdi! He was amazing. I used the school three times, including the day of my test. I used another school once before and had a horrible experience so I was really concerned when making another appointment with another driving school. Mehdi made me feel comfortable, he was patient and tried to explain everything is the tiniest details imaginable. He asked me the very first time what I struggled with and we practiced turning for the whole two hours. He was friendly and professional and I couldn’t have done it without him! I did meet Ben once during a practice and he was also so incredibly sweet. He was very proud that his student had passed. I would recommend them to anybody! They are not always the best with confirming appointments and answering phones or even being anally punctual but it is very worth it in the end! So happy!

He's calm, cool, funny, and honest. He will give you the right information in order for you to pass. He will make you confident. These guys are awesome. I got my permit on a Friday after losing my license for 7 years. When I asked the guy at PennDot how long of a wait until I can take my road test he told me 6 months!!! So i called a few driving schools to see if they could get me in faster. Other than Ben's, the best was a $200 charge for an appointment a month from the Friday I got my permit. Ben called me back 4 days later and I had my road test and license within hours. He was also cheaper than $200. Picked me up at my house, had a quick lesson, and by 10:00 I was dropped back off at work with my license. I highly reccomend.

To be honest for new refugee like me it was not easy to get the license, But Ben driving school made it possible. Have been trying to me my driving license since last year September. I was driving with another driver but I honestly don't know what I was doing wrong. my first three tests, I went to Norristown Penndot and the two times at Huntingdon Valley. I was very worried and frustrated, my friend gave me Ben's driving schools number. I spoke with him last week, and he set an appointment for me today at 1:30pm. I had two hours lessons with him on Saturday for $80 and rented his car with a lesson before the test for $150. He taught me what I needed to do to pass the test within 30mins before test. Have spent a lot of money trying to get my license but it was definitely worth getting my license. I 100% recommend Ben driving school. Don't waste your time with other drivers, call Ben driving school.

I received my permit in August and off a recommendation of my cousin I signed up for lessons with Ben Driving School. Not only were they professional but my instructor Mehti was great. He was patience and let me take my time with learning the test route and all driving instruction. I went for my test today and passed on the first try!!! I would definitely recommend this school to any new drivers! Very professional!!!

I am very disturb my grandson just got his permit. I was anxious to get him driving lesson, Ben advisement looked professional until I called, my request for lessons was denied because of my zip-code. Never judge a book by its cover. I grandson is in college, his mother is one Philadelphia finest, his grandmother a license therapist........what is wrong with business today!!!!

I made a last minute decision to sign up for driver school and they took me on. I work during the day so I love they offer evening hours. They were very nice and made you feel comfortable. They definitely prepare you for the exam so you know exactly what to expect.

Most driving schools are after your money, this one isn’t in my opinion, when my driving instructor saw that I did a fantastic job driving he said I didn’t need anymore classes when I was willing to pay for another, I love this school.
