I AM EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY LET ME SCHEDULE MY DRIVE TEST ON 1/11/18 AND REQUIRED ME TO GET THERE ABOUT 15 MIN EARLY. I GOT THERE AT 8:45 AM AND TOOK OFF WORK TO DO THIS, I DROVE AN HOUR AWAY FROM MY HOME TO THIS PLACE. WHEN I GOT THERE NOBODY WAS THERE. I TRIED CALLING FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES AND FINALLY AT 9:00 AM SOMEONE ANSWERED. I TOLD THEM I WAS THERE FOR MY DRIVE TEST AND THAT NOBODY WAS THERE AT THE OFFICE. THE LADY TELLS ME THEY CALLED ME THE DAY BEFORE TO CANCEL. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. HOWEVER I DID RECEIVE A "REMINDER" TEXT AS WELL AS A REMINDER EMAIL I ALSO GAVE THEM MY WORK EMAIL CONSIDERING I CHECK IT MULTIPLE TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY. THE LADY TOLD ME THAT THEY TRIED CALLING, BUT MY NUMBER WAS NOT WORKING. I ASKED HER TO RECITE MY NUMBER WHICH WAS THE RIGHT NUMBER. I NEVER HAD A VOICE MAIL OR ANYTHING TO TELL ME MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELED. BUT SOME HOW WHEN ERIN CALLED TO TELL ME TO SCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT SHE HAD NO ISSUES GETTING THROUGH TO ME AND MY PHONE SEEMED TO WORK JUST FINE FOR HER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS COMPANY, THEY REQUIRE YOU TO PAY FIRST AND THEN DON'T SHOW UP TO THE APPOINTMENT THEY SCHEDULE. I READ OTHER REVIEWS SIMILAR TO THIS PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT BUT GAVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND COMPLETELY UNORGANIZED. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY, I TOLD THEM I EXPECT A REFUND AND THAT I WOULD BE LEAVING A BAD REVIEW ON THEIR SITE DUE TO THEIR LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND UNPROFESSIONALISM!

Today i got a drivers license , thank you ODEC Driving Education Center , I would recommend instructor Steve , made feel very comfortable , very helpful . The test score was 90 % , drivers instructor on test was very good and nice man ! THANK YOU!!!!!

My instructor was Craig! He was a professional and i was really comfortable testing with him! I Strongly recommend Oregon Driver Education Center for driving test ! Thank You ODEC.

1 star for Steve Hudsman or whatever his name is, he failed me twice with a reason is "you almost there". I had to paid 40 for the 2nd drive test thou. Then I gave up at this place, and scheduled DMV, guess what? I passed with 90%. Drive test at this place is a joke. Wasted my time n my effort.

Odec was very professional and helpful in my drive test. Examiner Craig was nice and took into account nerves and age. Would definitely recommend to all as an alternative to the DMV.

Don't sign your young driver up for ODEC. All of their instructors were great, I have no complaints about the instruction on the road my kid received. However, the program requires them to spend more time "sitting and getting" in the classroom rather than on the road practicing. They are over priced and inflexible with schedule changes. I'm sure there are better options out there.

They cancelled on me once then today i showed up half hour early and nobodys there two more people were there for test and waited hour for some one to show up and nobody did this place is a joke ill b there monday very pissed off some getting ass chewing

I took a course with them and it was all around good, but there is one thing that they didn't teach us...... They never taught us how to do a normal pull in park. They only taught back-in parking and parallel parking. Other than that the course was pretty good.

DMV was 6 weeks out so I paid the extra money to have them "Test" me. The online appointments are easy and convenient and the staff was decent. Why did I give it one star? Well, I'm 35 and have been driving since I was 13 and started driving race cars when I was 19. My drivers license expired 7 YEARS ago and I never look at it. Have not been pulled over in over 11 years and I know how to drive a Semi-Truck and fly a plane. Not unhappy about being tested or how the test went, what REALLY pissed me off is that I got 25 points deducted due to not checking my blind spots or not turning around to look while backing. Thing is I had my neck fused and have badly degenerated disks all up my spine so I'm unable to do that. Dude had the nerve to critique me due to a disability.

The instructor failed me all because I didn't turn my body to check my blind spots. I did turn my head but he insisted I didn't on 5 occasions of switching lanes. This place only wants your money DO NOT go to them as a 3rd party DMV testing!!!!!!

Has anyone else had a terrible time scheduling the actual drives? I check several times each day but there are no available drives. In six weeks, my son was able to schedule two drives! At this rate it will sure take a long time to complete this course ...

I am surprised to read so many poor reviews. We had an excellent experience. The classes and the driving courses were extremely informative and beneficial. Also, the assistant that answers the phone at the corporate office was very polite and helpful when we had questions about scheduling/canceling drives. My daughter has friends who have taken other courses and have not learned half of what was taught at ODEC. I feel confident that my daughter will be safe on the road and is a better driver after having gone through this experience. THANK YOU ODEC!

Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with. They do not return phone calls. They refused to refund money. So then I proceeded to have all of my money rolled over into personal lessons. However Was only able to get 2 out of the 10. When you call their unable to give answers or any idea whether or not you're going to get a phone call back. I am out about a $1000

They canceled my appointment because the driver was sick and told me I had to reschedule and that the next appointment was a month away. Then after they hung up after canceled the appointment I got an email saying I had to call myself to REQUEST a refund. I've had this appointment scheduled over a month, and I'm sure they could've had another driver give me the exam. Not to mention I paid $50 for this just to have them call me 2 hours before.

I just took a driving test last week-September 2015- The instructor, Tim, was so nice! He made me feel so comfortable , and that helped me to pass my test. I have already recommended it to 2 friends.

This place is AWESOME! I went to DMV today and was 35 minutes early for my drive test. However, there was someone in front of me in line which caused me to be late for my test. I had to reschedule even though i was there so much earlier. The lady's at the DMV (who were being totally evil) gave me a slip to reschedule with ODEC! So I went online and to my surprise there were 3 appointments for the NEXT day! No long waits like if you were to call the actual DMV! There was a $39 dollar fee but it was totally worth it! THANK YOU SO MUCH O.D.E.C. You saved my life!

So disappointed with our experience with this company. My 16 year old daughter was not allowed to drive my car (that she's familiar with) and was made to drive a car she's never driven before. The tester didn't familiarize her with any of the car's features such as the wipers, turn signal or the gear shift. It was raining during her test and she was given no instruction on how to operate the wipers. It is unsafe to expect a teenage driver to figure out how to operate a car while driving. He failed her because she couldn't figure out how to put the car reverse (it was a gear shift that requires you to move over and down instead of just back like what's she used to). Don't waste your time and money.

Horrible costumer service . we did not use service cancelled test and was informed it will take 30 days for refund its now almost 40 days no refund we are getting the run around they quickly took the money but taking too long for refund
