REVIEWS OF Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course IN Ohio

frank

showers, grand stands, beer and great times. What more could you ask for

kevin lacey

Always have a great time here at the Indy car race.

Aliana Cherpitel

Went to the Tough Mudder held here over the weekend. The venue was good. TM has a way of making any location work. Overall the grounds were lovely and it was pretty cool running around by, through, and on the track. Parking area was appreciated as it was not far to the location.

Ronald Forester

GREAT place good races

Mike Given

World class race course, and driving facility. Convenient to interstate 71. See the best drivers in the world

Lisa Corby

The portable bathrooms were beyond disgusting (overflowing) at the Honda 200 also very few of them for thousands of people. They advertise shuttle service to parking, which is in a field. We saw no evidence of shuttle service. The facilities at this track are seriously lacking.

Mark Ueber

It is a fabulous race track. All my experiences there have been terrific.

Owen Wengerd

Indy car race was as exciting as watching paint dry when I went. I wouldn't go again if somebody gave me free tickets which is how I went the 1st time & it still was hardly worth my time.

Judy Lamp

Great racing, facilities need to do better showing people the ropes.

Gene McManus

My favorite weekend place in Ohio. Been going fir over 50 years.

Jonah Anderson

Been going here for as long as I can remember! Absolutely love Mid-Ohio! Great viewpoints to watch the race from and tons of things to see in the garages. Always a blast!!

jason hill

Great deal for indycar race. Gen admission for the weekend is rwasonable and kids under 12 are free. We come here every year as a weekend getaway. It is hard to find a bad place to sit

Stephanie Fairley

The track is hard enough to see at a road course without people putting their canopy's up in front where they aren't supposed to and security doesn't do anything about it. I won't waste my money again.

Doug McDougall

Great track and lots of space to really see the racing! The ONLY complaint that I have is signage and it needs to be improved considerably. (Other people were saying the same.) Out-of-town people should come to this track. The mid-Ohio countryside is gorgeous and there is lots to see and do before the race. We had no idea Ohio looked this nice! We came from Toronto and truly enjoyed it.

Nicole Leigh

Love this track! I just got introduced to this track 4 years ago when my boyfriend and I got together. I've never even heard of it before him & I wish I did because it's amazing. We buy passes every year & go to the NASA & SCCA races after the season ends. Nobody is there. I'm actually headed there now for a SCCA race.

Myles Lowery

Famous road course a must see.

k c

First and last time mid Ohio will ever get money out of me. Hope it was worth it.

Benjamin Shover

Had an absolute blast this past weekend at the Honda Indy 200 camping. Our campsite won the Christmas in July contest, so we had multiple drivers and IndyCar luminaries stop by to hand out. Race cars on the track all weekend from 7 in the morning until 7 in the evening. Fantastic time.

Terry Garvin

This is one of the most unique racetracks ever! You can picnic in the infield under huge pine groves and experience some great racing. I never miss the NASCAR race and have seen many other forms of racing here over the years. Great facility! One of the best places to see any type of racing from vintage motorcycles to fire breathing V-8'S!!!

Jonathan Perkins

Great place to drive and meet like minded individuals.

L Mitchell

Worst portajohns and bathrooms I have ever seen at a race track! Are they EVER cleaned? DO NOT GO TO A RACE HERE! Can't use the bathroom! COMPLETELY NASTY!

Just Me

Pretty good track but the flush toilets gave out the first day. All Porta-Johns just doesn't cut it! The Spectator seating needs to be updated. Old unpainted wooden bleachers are showing their age.

Jane Min

Out of the many tracks I've been to I have to say I've probably been to Mid-Ohio the most. Every time I go, it's like going home - if home was in the middle of nowhere Ohio. The facilities are out of date and there isn't much to do in the surrounding local area but the track itself it iconic and definitely exciting. Best spot is the yellow canopy across from China Beach, especially during a race in the rain!

Mark Stephens

Great race track for Indy car and track days. Facilities could stand to be updated, but the racing surface is awesome.

Christine Hall

Great time! Lots of fun

Karen Stiffler

Nice track. Could use some upgrades and more restrooms.

Sandip Suvedi

Awesome race car course. I've gone to the Honda Indy 200 weekend race for most of the past decade, and I've always had a great weekend and experience.

Timothy Stiffler

One of the best road courses in America!

William McKinney

Great Race weekend! 2017 2018, The Saturday event was disappointing this year, the GT & GT3 class did not race.

John Noss II

Excellent course, great views around the track. Great places to watch include the esses, carousel, and keyhole. Camping is also a great way to spend the weekend. I hope they keep the Xfinity race here for years to come!

Dan Dunham

Fantastic course and the facility is well kept up. Great place for kids as they can roam around the track on all the grassy hills. I love watching a race hear!

Meghan Hay

Had sooooo much fun here!!!!

randyr55

Used to go there for the Can-Am series back in the early '70's.

William Majcher

My friends and I went to Mid-Ohio regularly in the early '70's, as well as Watkins Glen, Nelson Ledges, Mosport and others. Now my son and I go to the Vintage Sports Car races at Mid-Ohio. It's like traveling back in time for me - same track layout, same cars as 40 years ago, but the facilities have improved. The people couldn't possibly be nicer, and my son and I get to have a great weekend together. What could be better?

Richard Knapp

Imagine what it would be like if you were at a private country club and a sports car race broke out? That is what the folks at Mid Ohio have been able to create. Beautiful green rolling pastures among vast stands of trees with quaint garages for the race teams, ample paddock and plenty of facilities to meet any immediate need all around this sprawling facility. I've been to more than three dozen tracks around the World, and this is my favorite. Monaco was fun & exclusive, but Mid Ohio is like being home with friends. It doesn't get any better.

Miles Crabbe

Visited again in June 2019. They have built a new, excellent shower facility with more than enough room to support a race weekend. Now easily in the top 5 race tracks to visit in the USA. *Old Review* The track is great, the facilities are not. The showers especially leave something to be desired. Like privacy, cleanliness, or warm water. *

David Crawford

This is my 6th year at AMA Vintage Days event. Space 324 on the main strip. Right near the colts bus. #365 recreation #DicksBultaco's #BlammoGarage Maico

Urban_Turban2114

Great place to go. I came here for the vintage races. Great experience. Would come here again.

Robert Nolan

So much fun. See you there for vintage days '17

j Gleason

Excellent viewing areas. Great driver contact (with pit pass). Only problem we had being I am from New York, no camping Sunday night. Made for a tuff ride home.

Eric Pennington

26 years of trips to this beautiful slice of farmland turned into race course. I'm getting all fuzzy just thinking about it. Many years spectating, and now many racing on it, have not dulled the excitement of a planned weekend there!

Frederick Hirt

I participated in the parade lap and was there for the the race. I really enjoyed the day and race. I had a great time.

Bill Morton

Great course. Great place to watch all types of racing!

D T

I used to work and race here when I was part of Skip barber. Great course to drive sideways lol.

Josh Anzicek

I have been to several (7+) events at this track, including motorcycle and car racing. I love the vintage days events with a huge swap meet and road, trials, and dirt racing all happening simultaneous to camping, swap meet, and 20,000 fans driving around.... what a rush.

Mike Robinson

Best family track for IndyCar

John Maguire

Had my first motorcycle track day here -- great instructors and a fun track. Some spots could use a repave but nothing major.

Entillon shadow

A fun family friendly place to go! I’ve been going here since I was young and it always had been positive the staff is very friendly and will help in any way they can tickets are always priced very well you’re able to rent/RV camp you are also aloud to bring pets outside food and drink Etc just be courteous of others and you won’t have an issue I love mid Ohio!

Josh Foreman

Indy 200 is a great event.

Doug L.64

Grass, grass, and more grass at this gem of a WORLD CLASS facility on Steam Corners Rd. Originally a Cornfield In Lexington Oh. Ive been coming here for 17 YEARS!! Just a great place for racing fans. Clean, safe, fair priced, and so much fun. If you want to experience open wheel racing up close, grill out, enjoy general admission open seating, then you gotta come to a race! Freedom galore. Load up a cooler of cold drinks, get those camping chairs and come here. In all my time ive NOT ONCE witnessed trouble, there's just classy respectful race fans! Don't wanna sit 20ft from the track in the infamous Thunder Valley feeling the ultra RUSH of power when a World Class driver in a Diablo, Ferrari, Porsche GT, or Indy car flys by you at 150mph during one of the several races? Then simply move into the shaded area under the canopy of trees in the infield area (the track and cars go mostly around the perimeter of the course property) and relax. Great for race fans and family's because midohio track staff treat you Great! No riding the pine here in the Grandstands at THIS track. Relax and enjoy. HINT: Spend an extra $10 for a paddock pass because you won't believe who you'll meet down there ie David Letterman, Mario Andretti, Ashley Judd, etc.

Michael Bujak

A great place to enjoy the races. I go for the esses in the infield everyone I go.

The Gas Man

I have visited the road racing course at Mid-Ohio several times and competed there if you live in the Midwest and enjoy road racing it is a must do to add to your list. Prices for tickets vary According to which sanctioned body is racing there so the best thing to do is contact them directly for current pricing information. The facility is kept Immaculate parking is easy to access and there is plenty of it the road system does require little patience getting to and leaving the track but it is all part of the pleasure of being there. There is also driver instruction there which makes it a great place to start your driving career or to improve your skills.

Daniel Cooley

Instructions to get will call tickets and other passes are pretty bad, but the course itself is fun to watch.

Ken Bielecki

Awesome course to watch Xfinity race car circuit. Lots of great turns on the track and constant excitement. Always fun to get that close to the action. We will be back next year.

Lisa Leathery

Great road course. Was there with group organizer Auto Interests. They run a good HPDE program. Down side of the facility was the jiffy johns - totally unacceptable, were not emptied from previous even.

Frank Willson

Mid-Ohio does not care about customers. We had passes through NASCAR to enter the track and paid $185 for camping. I had the campground passes and confirmation with me when we arrived on Friday for the NASCAR Xfinity race. We were told by the gate agent that we would not be allowed to enter because we didn't have the race tickets yet. NASCAR's will-call closed at 5pm and that's where our tickets were. They wanted us to camp in the parking lot, with no water or facilities, and refused to credit us the night they were denying us. The only solution is they forced us to buy ANOTHER TICKET (THAT WE DID NOT NEED) to gain entry. The only compromise is that the gate agent only charged us for one ticket. Upon entering the facility the parking lot was torn to pieces and rocked the camper so bad things were all over the floor when we parked. The showers were open like you were in a prison and disgusting. The concession stand ran out of food. Long story short, Mid-Ohio does not know how to put on a race. Tuesday after the race I called the main office to request a refund. The supervisor was rude, defensive and completely unwilling to budge. She even got angry that the gate agent didn't make us by 2 unnecessary tickets. DO NOT attend a race at Mid-Ohio. Their reputation is horrible and they proved so again. Enjoy a track that really knows how to execute a race and provide good customer experience: Michigan International Raceway.

Christina Cope

Had never been here before and loved course layout. Had been a long time since I've attended INDY car race, really enjoyed. Plenty of Staff to direct people where you need to go and at concessions. Screen and tower set up excellent. Lots of walking unless on a golf cart. Campground area looked nice from where I was at. A lot of friendly people

Micheal Beaver

Really nice road course. Food is good also

Jesse Jones

This track is a gem. Great vantage points all around the perimeter, and infield. There's a perfect spot for everyone, slow and high speed corners, flat out at the end of the back straight, and head on & tails away views from the top of the keyhole. If you prefer noise, thunder canyon is good. The eases are the most popular by far, but the inside of the carousel as they come out of the uphill kink, is one of my faves. Have fun! Wear sunblock! Drink Water! Wear good footwear, or flip flops like me!

Marjorie Huffman

My daughter & I took the Honda Teen Defensive driving course together & loved it! Besides classroom instruction we had in car simulations to prepare you for accident avoidance, driving on wet and icy road conditions (skid car) and use of ABS. Besides learning a lot, we laughed often (I accidentally dragged a cone all the way across the lot) and had a lot of fun together. All four instructors were great. Highly recommend.

Daisuke Yanagisawa

A great race course for spectators, especially IndyCar race.

Daniel Michos

Xfinity series nascar 2017 absolutely non stop action. Sixty bucks for a amazing weekend of camping an racing Mid-Ohio race track an the whole community puts on a excellent event worth every penny for the experience an memories I made with my family an friends an the new friends I made down there thanks Mid-Ohio.

Vicki Frost

I have work there as a flagger and i wouldn't trade my summer job for anything. I love it there and the ppl I work with.

Sid Morgan

I have loved Mid-Ohio since the early '80's. I live an hour away, and the Indycar race has always been a highlight of summer. I would always purchase the ticket that gave me a weekend grandstand seat and paddock pass. Camping was an extra $30. Camping went to $40 last year, and now to $60. There is no more package deal with the ticket and paddock pass. The end result is that now the cost is over $180. That is more than I pay for camping and a ticket next to Victory Circle for the Indy 500! I'm starting to understand why Indycar races are so poorly attended. I'm done. Marketing 101 *does not* state that when your demand has fallen through the floor, that you increase prices!

marc mendes

Great low key atmosphere for the indy race. They made sure to have tons of bathrooms in the camping area and keeping the portoilets emptied. Crowd was respectful and fun

Debbie Murray

Great place to sit back and watch some racing. Check out the schedule for what's racing on the weekend you want to go. Then pick a spot in the infield and have fun. It's great to wander around and check out other spots on the track too.

rick kibler

I have been to many race tracks including the Glen since 62 Laguna Seca, Long Beach, Pocono, Daytona, Mosport, and many more but never felt a "Welcome Race Fans" vibe or spirit like I do at Mid Ohio! I hope you bring SuperBike racing back its my favorite sport.

Dda Ohio

I have attended the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days here many times. Love watching the races. Love seeing all the old bike, they do a good job at this event.

Dennis Braun

Very Disappointing - Sound system is terrible, Mash 4077 sounds better than the track. Need more TV screens around the track so fans can follow the race. Fun Zone was a joke. It will take major improvements for me to ever return. I travel to multiple Indy car tracks and this is by far the worst for spectators...This track was packed and made lots of money no reason to not upgrade for a better racing experience other than ownership greed...

Joe Barnett

I come to Mid-Ohio once a year for their Vintage Motorcycle Days. The course is awesome, the camp ground is well kept. This year they've added more beer options as well as new food. I would highly recommend the course to anyone who is interested in motorsports.

Jimmy Weiland

It's kinda what i think heaven would be like.

Austin Boelke

There are many places you can park and watch the race from if you're in the infield. Everyone at the track is hospitable and the atmosphere is awesome. Because the track is wide open there is no need for any hearing protection.

Matt Fortman

Great time checking out the vintage motorcycle races. Way too much to see in one day.

Jarrett Hill

I have been going here for 20 some years. Excellent for spectators wanting to watch racing on a road course. This place also has a nice camp ground. All the events I have attended we're worth the trip from Tennessee. The Vintage Grand Prix is really worth going to. Hopefully for the next Rally Cross event they have more areas to view the race. The hill on top of the key hole was the only place to view the race other than a grandstand that cost $20 extra to sit at and get covered in dust in the process. With the higher ticket prices you would think there would be less nickel and diming going on.

Josh Palazzi

Great track, lots of great racing

kevin cuthbertson

Awesome entertainment every time. Always a great experience!

Jonathan DaCosta

Great place will recommend any time to any one. Super fun, affordable, safe, incredible views, awesome atmosphere.

Bob Mazur

Great place. One of a kind venue is Ohio.

Sky Tripp-Schaefer

This place really need some work I came here for the Indy Honda 200. It needs new concessions. And a lot better signage. Like where things are concessions this way exit this way and so on and so forth. You could easily set up a real trolley that takes you all the way around the course charge a dollar if it's about money. But the thing that struck me most is you need to have a larger police presence there was no security no police, it was a lot of people sitting in the grass that were getting pissed drunk on moon shine and smoking weed. And finally you really need to make it more Ada accessible I got a bum knee, and there's no reason why you couldn't add steps into the side of the Hills. And some actual sidewalks that are made of concrete not dirt. Won't be back....

Ian Angel

It's basically a track in the middle of a national park. Been going there for 30 years and I love it.

Michael Smith

One of the best road courses in North America.

J.K.

Nice place to go... Fun for the whole family!!

Peter Langlois

Nice, historical track that needs to pour some money into its' support facilities - refurbish some of the washrooms - and to improve pedestrian access around the track - repair crumbling roads and walkways/bridges. Maybe add another bridge or two also. Most of all, get rid of the front straight hospitality "cow shed" and put up a general admission grandstand. Maybe get Honda/Acura to really step up sponsorship and bring the track into the 21st century.

Jeff Vogel

TOP NOTCH! AND BEST INSTRUCTION ANYONE COULD ASK FOR. NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE!

Tommy Ault

Great time, and great racing.

15venzan

Great racing and great views. Could use more TVs around the track though.

Terry Henderson

Nascar Xfinity race hell yeah best time

Jay Horsley

Vintage days and Pirelli world challenge for me please! Love the diversity of the field.

Katrina Cross

Fun to watch races and see car you won't see any where else in the area.

gtorob

Great day at the races!

Lawrence Possien

One of the truly great road course tracks in North America

Jon Telliard

Cool place stayed a weekend vintage days, had a ball

Robert Pugh

Nice track and good facilities. However, if you plan on staying in the unreserved RV lot, it"s impossible to get decent sleep due to the rowdy and drunk crowd. First, it's not a RV Lot, it's a campground with mostly tent campers. Second, the 10 p.m. quiet time is not enforced and the party was going strong until 2 a.m. Lastly, there's no enforcement of the rules...reckless ATVs, fireworks, loud motorcycles., etc., to the point it's dangerous. I will never return - I'll be watching from home.

J Post

I love watching races here and doing track days. Beautiful road course for spectators and an absolute blast to drive on. One of my favorite Ohio summer destinations and the kids enjoy the vintage races and the parade lap. Only wish they had more events!!

Orlando Cortez

Awesome track site

Michael Russell

Need some renovations. Staff is typically friendly.

Rob Petersen

Race was boring. Only one line through the corners.

George Ciobotaru

Awesome !! I went to the Honda superbike race weekend this summer. Great races and great beer. Draft beer was only $2

Chandler Reynolds

Great track for drivers that makes for great viewing for fans. It's a little bit of a trek to get out to the track, but it's worth it.

Steve Brightman

Tons of fun during Honda Indy race day. Infield was epic. Can't wait until next year.

Laurie Webb

Beautiful day at the vintage AMA!!

J Chev

Very Family Friendly very nice people

Valerie S

The race was great and me and my husband even met Mario Andretti! He was gracious and patient enough to take pics with anybody.

Rusty Greene

Great track, awesome road course with good views from multiple different vantage points

Dee Toth

Forget what they say about their camping rules/guidelines because they certainly do. After several months of planning, purchasing grandstand seats for the Verizon Indy Car series, we bailed Saturday morning before the race. The campers next to our site were shooting off fireworks (not just your personal grade ones); not a fan of having mortars go off next to me for an extended period of time or of having fireworks debris land on our travel trailer. The 10pm to 6 am quiet time is evidently completely ignored. Some group had a PA system going until way past midnight with drunks trying to sing, people dropping the F-bomb every other word. We thought this would be about race fans camping to get great access to the race, not about the Snake Pit at Indy. No security in sight. We wanted to ask for a refund since we felt it safer to leave on Saturday but couldn't find anyone other than a high school volunteer. Drove the 3 hrs back home and watched the race on television. What a waste of time, money and enthusiasm.

ivan uglem

Nice place that throws a hell of an event! The facilities are a bit lackluster which is why I docked one star.

Gerald Holt

The track is a great place to experience an IndyCar race. The track is in a remote location so it has a great feel to it. Set up a chair on the hill just after the bridge over pit lane and enjoy the race. The only negative is that traffic flow out of the venue after the race is VERY slow. Plan something fun to do for at least an hour after the race before you sit in your car moving a few hundred feet that entire time.

Lisa Cliver

The place is awesome! Great way to see a race!

Brian Pinti

Aidan Burns

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a fantastic auto racing course for spectators. There are plenty of spots around the circuit for people to watch the racing from. Drivers from all series praise the track for its technicality and the close racing that ensues. The facilities are aging and there are plenty of areas for improvement. However it's clear that the management does what it can with the money they have as there are consistently minor improvements made every year. I have enjoyed every single visit to this track since I was a kid no matter what kind of craziness the weather brings.

Bob Corcoran

Fantastic family fun! Awesome venue!

Kevin Frye

Awsom Road Course.....Lots of action

Charlie Edward

This a a good track in the dry weather, the sealant they used about 8 years ago makes it so slippery when wet that you cant race on it. Hope they repave it soon.

Maria Tromposch

Fun, exciting, noisy, great venue to walk around.

GGANNO

This is a great race track to go to for a weekend and watch some races! It is really fun as you can go almost anywhere in the infield!

Paul O

Mid-Ohio is one of the best road courses in North America. Lots of great observation mounds. The Keyhole, the esses above turn 5 are great spots to watch the action. Take comfortable walking shoes. You will do a lot walking out there. We did 10 miles over the course of the Honda Indy 200 weekend. Get a paddock pass too. Mid-Ohio has garages with a second level observation deck or gallery view so you can watch crews work on the cars. Only thing that could be improved on out there are new grandstands on the back stretch and track security and local law enforcement needs to do a better job of cracking down on all the dumb drunk adults and kids under 16 driving stupid all over the place in golf carts. Other than that, great place to go watch top level professional racing.

Random Stranger

Please, please, please update the prison camp showers behind maintenance. Some cheap new heads, frp, and epoxy floor would go far. It's the teams and volunteers that are dependent on these. Fail that bring a shower trailer like the spectators get

Derrell Harris

.hxgmm.b. Dmhg dtgrrj,

Mark Jeanmougin

Been there for HPDE's and as a spectator. Great track to drive or watch. The employees are friendly and helpful.

Charles Scott

Great road course, good seating.

MrBucer2

A real gem of a race course. Well maintained and a very enjoyable way to spend a weekend. But be forewarned -- food choices are limited and you'll pay $4.00 for a bottle of water.

FRANK LINKER

This year will be our 5th year in a row driving 8+ hrs So we can enjoy the IndyCar Weekend filled with races, quals and Practices from sun up to sun down! The MRTI races 2-3 races in a weekend and is a pivotal track for the feeder series of IndyCar to gain points and change your season from ok to a championship contention opportunity as they go into their last track of the season for the championship! There is always a SportsCar series that normally shares this weekend with IndyCar as well! Of Course the main reason is the IndyCar Series itself! Its always an amazing race and the grand Finale of some of the most exciting road racing you'll see Live all year! There are so many great vantage points around the track to watch the race and enjoy the awesome and most competitive racing series by the worlds best drivers on by far the most technical and fast road courses on the schedule! Add all that to the great food! Great fans! And Beautiful scenery that makes this track a must be there every year situation! This year as I stated before will be our 5th year in a row and im sure that 10 years from now it will be our 15th year in a row! Cant wait for the #Honda200!!

Sean Burns

This review is in response to a few of the reviewers that complained about the showers. Mid-Ohio completely rebuilt and expanded the showers in the maintenance building on the east side of the paddock area. Each shower stall is spacious and private. Great job Mid-O!

John V

Awesome venue for IndyCar race

TwinTurboJunkie

Always a great time coming out. Rather come here than Florida. Come down rain or shine

MICHAEL BARNETT

As of today, NO SUV's allowed. I suggest a SUV only event.

William Oliver

Purchased tickets to the Honda Indy 200 & an Official Honda Indy 200 T-Shirt on July 29, 2013. Race event was awesome. However, Mid Ohio customer service in regards to replying to my e-mails as to when my T-Shirt (Invoice 70961) will get shipped isn't awesome. No replies to my e-mails & no answer to my voice mail inquiry. I live in Newark Ohio so it's not like I live on the other side of the planet. This isn't the first time this has happened to me in regards to buying merchandise from Mid Ohio online. I wonder who else is having these issues with Mid Ohio fulfilling mail orders for merchandise.

Cassandra Lape

Worked Vintage Motorcycle Days. Love the place. Great staff and so much to do the weekend of VMD.

tony vargo

Very nice motor racing facility

Rick Miller

Loved Mid Ohio but it's not as nice as it used to be as far as picnic tables under the trees in back and things like that. The track had gone downhill which may be one reason AMA no longer races there

Tracy Schuster

A wonderful track!!!! I've been to many road race tracks in the country, mid- ohio is awesome!!!

Jeff Barth

Fantastic 4-day weekend. Weather wonderful. Food flavorful, as is all camping meals.

Adam Weaver

What's not to love? Amazing road course, spacious paddock and good facilities. My favorite track.

Bryce Reall

I've raced here a few times and gone as a spectator to several. Either way it's a great time. Lots of good watching spots around the track and an interesting track to drive. Concessions are over priced, but no more than any other sport event.

Steve Patti

What can you say? If you love twisty, technical race tracks (as a driver) -- you'll love this track. It rewards smooth driving (shifting, weight transfer, acceleration/deceleration). Rain can be a spoiler depending on time of year -- but like Watkins Glen, if the weather is good the racing is great. Accommodation near the track are very good compared to other great road courses (Road Atlanta, Road America, Watkins Glen). The drive up from Texas is a beating, but it's worth it once we arrive.

Josh G

The Below is not from me its from someone else who seems to be logged into my gmail. I know who it is because I know of only one friend going to Mid-Ohio since the 80's. I'm leaving the review up because I trust their opinion but it was not mine and sign me out of your browser dork. I love the track but the bathrooms are ok and showers are always dirty and need to be updated. I have been going their since the 80's and since then they haven't put much money in it. They need to take a look at Road America to see how it's done

Joseph Kennedy

This is a great road course with plenty of room for the fans. My favorite track sections to watch are the keyhole, the esses, and thunder valley. If you have the time and money, you should take one of their driving/racing classes. They are amazing!

Matthew Embry

Performance Track Riding (PTR) did an excellent job providing a safe, fast, and challenging course to take my track bike to the limit. I will be back for sure as it was definitely a good value and an excellent track to ride on. Look for a YouTube video posted under embrymc7 if you want to see what it is like first hand.

Joe Theile

Great value for tickets and camping for Indycar event. Enjoy this race every year.

David Scott

Great place for racing. Family friendly crowds, top notch racing series.Highly recommended!

Tim Clymer

I've been going to Mid-Ohio for 25 years - it's a great spot to catch some racing action at a reasonable price. Yeah, it's a little rough around the edges, it's in a rural location, you're using port-o-pots, the camping crowd can be rowdy for some events, there's usually some combination of excessive heat and thunderstorms, plan on walking a lot, you're not gonna find A/C, etc etc., BUT... it's a great value! Tickets are in the $50-$75 range for the major events, a camping spot is $50, you bring your own coolers stocked with whatever you need to get through the weekend, and it's genuinely a great time. Sometimes they even allow fans to walk the track after the day's activities have ended. I'm glad my dad opened our eyes to this place when we were kids, and I'm glad the track continues to attract top-tier racing series so I can continue to go!

Just did my first Track Day there. I couldn't be more pleased with how it went. Entire staff was 100 percent dedicated to making sure we had a great time. And they repeatedly asked us if everything was good, and it was. Special shout out to our coach Chris. He had a great way of explaining what we were working on each session without overwhelming us with ideas. Excellent rider coach.

Is a place with a lot of history and racetrack is very challenging for drivers, but it is a lityle bit old, and not fancy

Been going here for years for AMA Pro Road Racing. It is a great track and great people. Not real fond of the AMA change to only allowing folks in behind pit lane for fan walk though.

Con Mike

Went here for a NASCAR event and had a good time.

what a very cool place to watch an action filled high speed race as cars zip around the rolling hills and corners of this unique wooded track. I've seen a few races and even drove my old Triumph on the track once here. Nice place to meet drivers too if you are into that.

I attended some motorcycle races here at the track and was very pleased with the experience. The open layout lets you move around for photographic opportunities at varies sections and curves of the track. Plenty of grassy areas to relax and enjoy the racing. There were some concessions and rest rooms, but they could have used more of both and more signs directing you to the v arious features and facilities. Overall a great experience and a good value for the price I paid.

Danielle Tracy

Awesome space for vendors and spectators to enjoy any and all sort of motorbikes. Fun for the whole family and the part peeps!

Eric C

Was here for Tough Mudder in 2016; nice setup for the race!

Kyle Klein

Great for watching Indy and Sportscar Racing. Too bad IMSA doesn't race here anymore. Their loss.

J Crozier

Great track. Vintage weekend is crazy.

My father and I have been coming here for years, great experience every time. There are multiple locations with interesting sight lines, plenty of portapotties, and lots of fan access, even at IndyCar races. The major viewing locations and crossroads consistently have food and drink options as well, and while it rarely raises about your typical track fare, the value is good.

I have been going to Mid-Ohio for over 30 years and was disappointed by this years Honda Indy 200, not so much with the race but with the track facilities. The track did away with the shuttle wagons and went with golf cart shuttles instead. These golf carts could only hold 6 people and there were tens of thousands of people there, no where near enough of the shuttles. The infield women's bathroom is literally falling in on itself and needs a few more stalls. We bought paddock passes like we do every year so we can do the grid walk before the race, well this year only season pass holders got to do the grid walk, this information was not mentioned on the order site, so we did not know about it until race day. My family spends a lot of money to go to this track for the 3 days between tickets, hotel and food and I really felt we did not get our money's worth. The main event race was very good but the other racing not so much. Missed seeing the Pirelli cars racing, not sure why they weren't there this year. With the changes to the grid walk, lack of shuttles and no Pirelli cars I am not sure I will be back next year.

The Acura high performance class is fun and informative. There were plenty of experienced instructors willing to give feedback and critique.

Christopher Hawkins

Top of the line facility in every regard. Over the years I been there for an Indy Car race, pro motorcycle race, Vintage Motorcycle Days and a motorcycle track day. Always clean and well organized.

Best Natural terrain road course in the country

Andrew Gibson

Great course, easy to follow the flow.

Tony Galante

Fun place to watch a race with the family. Cant see the entire track but not unique to any other road course. Concessions were good and paddock is a nice sneak peak on seeing the cars up close.
