I had a great experience with Superior Driving School! The people working at the desk are very helpful, great with scheduling, and always remind you of your upcoming lessons. My instructor was Adolfo who is absolutely amazing - super patient and knowledgeable. If you make any mistakes, he corrects you immediately but in a kind way. I was a nervous driver but Adolfo helped me to get over that fear and concentrate. Passed my road test on my first try! Huge thanks to Adolfo - highly recommended!!

I STRONGLY recommend Superior Driving School to any one who 1.) is new to driving or 2.) wants or needs a thorough refresher in NY State road test preparation, proper driving technique, and defensive driving. My Background: I have driven for over 40 years, but allowed my license to expire, therefore had to take the 5 hour class again. I had planned to go to another driving school in the Sunnyside/Woodside area, but they were filled up, therefore my google search turned up Superior Driving School. Excellent 5 hour driver's course: Superior offers an excellent 5 hour driver's course. The instructor was thorough and taught the full 5 hours. He actively encouraged class participation, and frequently reinforced major points regarding defensive driving and passing your driver's license road test. The class had about 15 to 20 students, and the instruction was as inspiring as he was thorough. Actual Driving Lesson: To familiarize myself with the "Superior" car that I would be using on my driving test, I took a 45 minute driving lesson with Superior. I was impressed: the instructor (different from the classroom instructor) was giving useful test taking advice even before I was seated in the car. He selected a road trip that was similar to what I would have to drive over on the actual test. Throughout the lesson, he repeated pointed out useful tips, and important caveats that would help me pass my exam. I strongly recommend Superior Driving School to any one who is new to driving or wants or needs a thorough refresher in NY State road test preparation, proper driving technique, and defensive driving.

I was a part of the 5 hour class this Saturday and I am VERY impressed with the instructor's teaching method. He is very passionate about the material and incorporated real life experience. He kept the class's attention and was very humble and down to earth. I could tell that he loves doing this and it's not just for the money. I have taken a 5 hour class in the past and let the certificate expire I paid 35 dollars more than I did in this class and I did not even hear the instructor speak once during the 5 hours. I would recommend this class to any and everyone looking for a 5 hour class. But I would most definitely recommend it to young drivers! Young people need wisdom and this instructor has ALOT of it! So parents if your teenager wants his/her license send them to superior driving school for their 5 hour class. It is definitely worth it.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the whole superior driving school staff. They were really friendly and prepared me for the road test. Passed on my first try all thanks to Adolfo. He was very informative when explaining the things I needed to work on. Adolfo was really patient and didn't make me nervous at all when I made mistakes. My driving lessons were with Adolfo and he was really nice and patient. He makes it easy to feel comfortable and relaxed. However I didn't pass my first road test based on 2 things that weren't mentioned during my lessons. And I wasnt nervous the first time, I was totally relaxed. I was more nervous on the second try. The receptionist was awesome though in getting me another appointment within 2 weeks of the first one and I passed. Despite the minor setback, I'm overall satisfied with the customer service and professionalism of the staff. I recommend anyone trying to get their license to sign up here.

I took lessons all summer and passed my road test the first time! My driving instructor, Adolfo, is so calm which helped me learn how to drive better. He always says, "you need to fall in love with your driving." He's a driving connoisseur! Ask for him! The driving school is also very accommodating. My first instructor before Adolfo was very rude and angry throughout the lesson. When I told the school of the unreasonably angry and unprofessional instructor, they appropriately handled the issue. I definitely recommend the school and Adolfo as an instructor!

I barely knew anything before I took courses at Superior Driving School. I took the beginner’s package - 16 lessons and I will never regret it! The driving school schedules your road test for you so you don’t have to worry about it. There is no pressure. I had Adolfo as my teacher- he’s the best! Would highly recommend, he’s very friendly, funny, and kind. He doesn’t make you feel nervous or pressured at any point. He’s great with instruction and suggests multiple ways to do things such as parking so you choose which one works best for you! The prices are also pretty affordable and there is English and Spanish speaking people. You’ll love it!

Adolfo is a great teacher, and the staff are helpful. I took 2 short lessons with Superior driving school. I realized that choosing an instructor who listens well and who has your best interest in mind would be the best choice in picking what driving school to choose from. This is because even though an instructor can be from the same driving school, the rapport (nor interest to teach), might not be there; and you will definitely regret paying that money. Adolfo is a great teacher. Whoever gets to be lucky enough to be his student/s will surely get a great learning experience.

My instructor was Adolfo. I took my road test 4 days ago and passed on my first attempt. As a beginner with no one to lend me their car for practice I bought the 16 lesson package and it was one of the best choices I've made. I can honestly say I had one of the best instructors. He thought me everything I needed to know, from parallel parking to being a great defensive driver and having perfect turns. Adolfo listens and observes closely so you can correct habits immediately. He was open to answering all my questions. Aware of my circumstances Adolfo went above and beyond for me. It was the day before my test, nerves was settling in and I knew I needed an extra lesson if I planned on passing the next day. But that day was his day off. Adolfo assured me that if any of his students that was willing to put in as much effort as I did that he wouldn't mind giving me the extra help even on his day off. So the next day I passed with flying colors. Adolfo!!!

Adolfo is an amazing teacher, I was very nervous behind the wheel, but he was calm and encouraging and gave me the confidence I needed to pass my test on the first try! I would give them 5 stars since my experience with Adolfo was great, however my experience with the front desk was less then stellar. I had to reschedule my road test and it took well over 3 weeks to get a call back. In conclusion if you want a knowledgeable teacher go here, just be a patient person. PS: I also took my 5 hour class here and I found it to be very informative and engaging.

The 5 hour was better then I expected . Abdul was great instructor and really said all the basic key tools to be a better driver. Although he does go off topic sometimes about politics and how the world is messed up , he connects it in how driving affect each and everyone of us. This is a great and affordable school my little brother passed his driving test today ! All instructors were amazing ! My brother did have different instructors but it was only due to the scheduling he only was able to take morning classes because of his job but they are taught and gave him great lessons he said obulal was the one he liked best ! And he did take majority lessons with him ! I would recommend this school they are nice and work with you and after doing research was the least expensive in the area:) My brother is so happy and thank you superior driving school for being so patient and great !

This is such a great driving school super friendly instructors. If you feel nervous in the road don't be you are in great hands with instructs that make is seem so easy to learn how to drive. When it comes to the test dont be scared they will let you know if you can pass or you need more practice so it wont be a waste. They even do a lesson on the day of the test so u can be so refreshed and ready to go. One thing though always keep a note is the schedules. Since its a very busy school they can get time mixed up sometimes, because of that they always let you know a couple days in advance so you can make sure nothing is wrong. So always be on top of it, so you wont be late for class.

I had an excellent experience driving with Superior Driving School. They stay on top of things with scheduling driving lessons, road tests, etc. The 5 hour class really opened my eyes to a lot of driving errors people make on the road everyday and how important it is to always abide by the rules. My driving instructor was Kent and he knew how to keep a professional relationship with me. He knew how to be completely honest with me on terms of driving technique and habits I shouldn't have. I personally believe I was given knowledge that not many people attain when first learning how to drive.

I passed on my first try! I took 16 lessons here, most of them with Mr.Adolfo. He was very nice and patient, especially after I came back to take my last 8 lessons from almost month of no lessons (I was out of the country). He tells you immediately what mistakes you’re making and makes good judgement on what you need to work on. I was really nervous for my exam, but I managed to pass thanks to my instructor’s teachings. Mr.Adolfo and the office staff are really great! Highly recommend this location.

This school is awesome! I was so afraid of driving. I went to Ferrari Driving School in Astoria and the instructor there made me feel worse about myself. Superior Driving School the best way to highway of successful driving! I had a refresh package did my 5 lessons with Mr. Ivan he gave me excellent and, tricky tips when it comes to a refresh package. I come from Texas were we don't do parallel parking my Instructor Ivan was kind, patient friendly I had a hard time with the parking but he made me do it all over again and again until I got it even in my last lesson I messed up n he gave me another 2 more chances told me to not be nervous focus n that he believed I was ready. I passed my road test today the 1st try thank you Superior Driving School.!!! The front desk was also very professional always reminded me about my up coming lessons they worked around my busy schedule thank k you so much!!! Highly recommend.

I didn’t have a good experience with this company at all. My first instructor was cool. I paid for the 5 lessons which are supposed to be 45 minutes each; 3 of my lessons were shortened to only 30 min & they decided to group my last 2 lessons together (1 hour). I only had one day to learn parallel parking, never went on the high way, and just felt cheated. I was scheduled originally October 22 the owner Aldofo came 45 min late and had the receptionist lying saying that I was the one late and he was waiting for me. She made every excuse about not telling me to be there 15 minutes early but the text say to be there for 8 am. (Picture proof)I let her know I wanted a refund she said I couldn’t get it because of the 24 hour cancellation rule they have but I let her know it was THEIR fault for not being there not me. Time past and I went on a trip expecting to come back and get my refund instead I was scheduled for another road test on Dec 11. I ended up being apart of somebody else’s lesson. I’m just disappointed in my decision to not just get my money back that first day. I was clearly unprepared and haven’t had any practice in months. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY! And when I failed my instructor said the people from their driving school all failed the week before. They care more about the money than the students actually learning.
