This is THE DRIVING SCHOOL TO GO TO the receptionist is pleasant and always helpful. The 5hr class instructor helps you with any doubts you have and joseph is THE BEST DRIVING INSTRUCTOR he guide you and respectfully lets you know in which areas you need help with. I purchase my package that included 10 lessons,5 hour class and road test appointment.I took all my lessons with Ruthie. She truly is amazing and very knowledgeable.She made me a confident driver and most importantly a safe one.My hardest challenge in the past has been parallel parking.However, she has this parking technique that is so easy to learn and so effective! She guides you in all the steps needed to pass your road test and how to become a safe driver.I was able to pass my road test only my first try! I had absolutely 0 driving experience before I signed up for driving classes at On Time Driving School. My instructor was Joseph, he was the best hands down. I failed my road test the first time and continued taking lessons with him afterwards. He taught me everything I needed to know for my road test. Honestly this driving school is great expect for 1) if you live in Yonkers they would only drive you around your neighborhood, not really beneficially for real- world driving. 2) The 5 hour class is so uncomfortable, it really wouldn't hurt them to get better chairs. 3) They always mess up the classes. I had the driving test and did not know until the day AFTER. Then they put me for a class that I didn't even know I had and then charged me $15 for the lesson I missed that I didn't know I had. They should text you after you "schedule" a lesson and driving test.

Very unprofessional and disorganized staff. Driver was late every lesson came smelling like weed a few time. One time came with a flat tire used my time during the lesson to fix it. Canceled a lesson on the same day but i lose my money if i cancel. One instructor was late to picking me up for my five hour course then she was texing and speeding almost crashed. When i had my appoitment for my road test i was at the office at 9 am they called me at 930 to remind me of my test when i said im sitting in your office the lady was confused then asked me if i had my certificate they had at there other office so finally when my driver get to me we have to go to the other office to get my paper to then go to my road test which was at 945 which we were late for had to sit and wait. I called about cancelling lessons and to get a refund the lady transferred me all over said she didnt know how to do it was very rude and hung up on me had to call my bank to file the claim. One of the drivers also told my friend she was hired from craigslist and cancelled a lesson one day because she had to go to court about her license so think twice before booking with these people.

I had driven maybe 3 times total before taking my classes. Because of a job relocation I learned about last minute, I was going to need to learn how to drive and be able to drive to a different part of the US by may. I took 15 classes with joseph and couldn't be happier. Passed the exam for my license yesterday and I feel pretty good about my driving. He's been doing it a while and he knows how to get you good behind the wheel. I cannot give a strong enough recommendation of this driving school and joseph in particular.

I WISH I could give this driving school 10 STARS. It looks like a little whole in the wall, but it’s honestly the ONLY place you should consider to get your driving lessons! I did plenty of research and requested Joseph because of all his high reviews. I lived too far for the pick-up service, but I did not regret waking up and commuting over an hour and a half to this place. It was completely worth it! LET ME TELL YOU: JOSEPH IS THE AWESOMEST INSTRUCTOR YOU COULD EVER WANT AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET LEARNING FROM HIM. And his wife JENNY IS THE MOST HILARIOUS, FRIENDLY, YET PROFESSIONAL OFFICE STAFF MEMBER THERE. I got my permit a while back and kept putting off my driving education and on my first day in the car I was a nervous wreck! But Joseph’s friendliness, instruction, guidance, advice, and humor kept me sane. He’s the kind of person who’s very invested in his student drivers and wants to see them pass. In fact, he has the highest passing rate in the facility. They all know EXACTLY what the DMV tests for and Joseph really works wonders on your psyche, confidence, and novice driving skills. He also had patience for all my questions, even when I repeated them. I purchased a package with him at around $305 (my student discount helped too) and within my timing of two months, I PASSED MY ROAD TEST ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT TODAY! The package I purchased came with six lessons, the 5-hour course, a road test appointment, and the car for the road test. They are extremely on top of everything and always call to confirm any appointment. I love them and THANK On Time Driving School TREMENDOUSLY! I’m hoping to schedule my highway lesson soon with them. PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE ON THIS DRIVING SCHOOL, pick this one and I promise you will be prepared well enough to earn a license!

Prices are very fair for the quality of lessons you’re getting. If you're looking to get your license as soon as possible you have found the right place. Before coming here I've driven a few time but not enough to take the road test. The prices are amazing, cheaper than many other places I considered. Plus, you can use a student discount, that is if you're a student. The school was able to work with my schedule so I was able to take late lessons from 7-8pm! When they ask who do you want your instructor to be, ask for Ruthy! She will teach you, encourage you and make you laugh. She's dope! Take your lessons with her.

After 3 years I decided to re-enroll in a driving school and thanks to google reviews I chose On Time Driving School. My instructor was Joseph and he’s amazing. I just passed my driving fest today and it was thanks to Joseph and he is really a great instructor and he is patient , if you have any questions u can ask him dose not matter how many times u can ask the same question and he tells you the truth on how you drive and will let you know if you need more lessons i took 6 lessons with him and i got my license great teacher make sure to sign up with him.

I went to another driving school and failed my road test. After I failed I knew I needed practice and never went back. My 5 hour course had expired which prompted me to sign up with on time driving school to start the journey over. I had the pleasure of working with Mr Joseph whom I can say was more than accommodating. He gauged me to see exactly what kind of driver I was and worked with me from there. He was patient and affirming with me and I was appreciative of that. The biggest accommodation the driving school made was when my old driving school schedule roar test appointments on my behalf without my knowledge or consent (to avoid my 5 hour certificate expiring). The old driving school was making and scheduling appointments and within the last year made 15 appointments. I showed my road test instructor who made my new road test appointment for me. Joesph was kind enough to work his schedule around for me so that I may borrow their car that day. This school really helped me get more confident on the road and was always quite pleasant with me. I highly recommend especially Joseph.

Joseph, the driving instructor is amazing! He’s super patient, knowledgeable and very easy going, which definitely helped me feel way less nervous as I was learning to drive. The office staff is very helpful and attentive, and always call back/follow up when they say they will. They also send text/email/phonecall appointment reminders :) I passed my test on my first try, all thanks to the help and support I got from On Time. I absolutely recommend this driving school and am grateful for the freedom I now have to go wherever I want! P.S. —the lesson packages don’t expire which was very convenient for me because my work and school schedule often times got in the way of my learning to drive. I had previously purchased a package from a different school and I feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth because I never finished my lessons before the package expired.
