This is an amazing school! I took classes with Rafael and he made me feel very confident on the road. He gave me great tips when parking and doing the U-turn! Very knowledgeable and patient instructors (they show you all the tricks to driving and what to expect on the road test). The prices may be a bit higher than other places in the heights, but you get your money’s worth. I took 12 lessons, but failed the road test miserably (it’s my fault though, not the instructors). UPDATE: I’m planning on taking the road test again in Sept. UPDATE 11/17/18 I took the road test on 11/7 and passed. Thank you Raphael, Jeffery and the rest of the staff. Highly recommended.

Their prices is worth the service. They will be truthful with you based off the way you drive, weather you need more lessons or not. And don’t do your test unless you are completely ready, take as many classes you may need so you can pass on the first try.

I'm so happy I came to this school because they have amazing staff and instructors who actually make time for you. Once I signed up, I got an appointment the next day, which I think is amazing compared to other schools I heard about. Everyone is so friendly, kind and positive. They make you feel comfortable behind the wheel, they teach you everything step by step and why it has to happen that way, and they make sure your ready for the road test. My two Instructors were Rafael and Jefrey aka Flaco and they are both amazing, patient and very knowledgeable when it came to everything. I was so worried I wasn't going to pass and not because of them but because I was so nervous but Jefrey and also one of the woman at the front desk made me feel very confident when it came to me taking it today and GUESS WHAT ?! I PASSED TODAY !!!!! When I was done doing the Road Test my examiner said "For your first time learning how to drive and taking the road test you did amazing! You should thank whoever taught you because I never seen anything like it. " SO THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME AND TEACHING ME EVERYTHING! In short - I took the 5 class package deal with Jeffrey and passed. McGuyver saved the day in the end when it came to my road test (RT). Pricing is decent (see below break down of pricing I was provided). Jeffrey was a great instructor and I had him for 3 lessons. Victor was my instructor for my last 2 hour lesson and he was great but has a totally different teaching style than Jeffrey which caused confusion. The details of my road test were unclear til the very last minute however Susie and McGuyver were able to make an exception after I consistently called and stated that the miscommunication and short notice of details was not my fault but rather theres. McGuyver took me to my RT and provided helpful tips. In the end I passed without losing any points. So thank you to everyone who helped! See my Yelp review for an extend explanation of my experience with this establishment. Recommendation to business - Provide clear guidelines on how the road test is administered and scheduled by you. If it's advised that people take the day off work or school that should be told in advance so ppl can accommodate. Recommendation to a consumer - Remember who you've spoken to, and reconfirm details. All the instructors speak English/Spanish but if you prefer someone who can speak fluent English I'd recommend Victor of the instructors I've driven with. Jeffrey was great and patient with me as well. The site provided doesn't seem all that functional so its best to call or go in person for details. Pricing (This was as of 3/16/19 so it may change) 5 Lesson Package - $339 10 Lesson Package - $479 Includes - 5 or 10 classes, 5hr video, 1 RT, 1 car for RT Defensive Driving Course - $70 (Need to have a license) Deposit is needed. Card is accepted but there is a fee associated with it so I suggest paying cash.

One of the worst driving schools ever! They always try their best to try and rip you off. And the guy who gives driving lessons there is useless! I highly recommend Jeffrey & Rafael who are both very patient instructors. Driving styles are somewhat different, but you will definitely feel at ease with either one. Update 2018: while they have some good drivers, the school itself is garbage. I referred my sister here since I passed on my 1st try & they’ve been giving her the back and forth for well over a month now. She’s in medical school & told them from day 1 that she was leaving NY Right before the new year and needs to take the road test before then. Cool? No. They didn’t make a note of this so when she went back a few lessons after inquiring as to her test date they said they had no idea what she was talking about so one girl opted to search for an emergency date and promised to call back day of. 3 days later no call. My sister calls to follow up twice with news that they can’t find a date for her test (it’s their fault mind you). My sister looks up DMV dates and finds one, puts on hold and calls them letting them know only to find out that she has to pay more $ bc they don’t generally go out that far. Done. Day of test arrives & needs a redo so she comes back from her state of residence for road test 2. First confirmation call from driving school was they would take her with their car just arrive at a specific time. Second confirmation call was she has to pay again to use their car and they changed the time on her as well. Obviously changes happen last minute, but be more respectful as to people’s schedules given she lives out of state and has a plane to catch. Very, very, very disorganized. All they want is your money. Go somewhere where you can actually learn and get your money’s worth. It’s not worth the stress nor time here. They will be getting reported bc it’s a complete waste of a business in all honesty.

Easy to learn driving school is very professional and the prices for there packages are affordable. I took about 17 lessons in total and I tried 3 different instructors. My favorite instructor is Victor he literally explains everything you need to know and he made sure I got everything downpack! I took my road test 12/18 and I passed!! I never leave reviews but I had to give mcguyver a 5 star rating. I was late to my class and he decided to give me the lesson regardless, showed me how to parallel park the easy way (I've taken multiple classes before on how to parallel park and could not get it) was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. I came to Washington heights from the city because it was cheaper but it was by far the best class I've taken. Will definitely be back now that I have my license so he can teach me to drive on the highway!
