Tried to charge me a cancellation fee of $15 because I needed to reschedule my driving class the day of. I was not made aware of this fee when I made the initial payments. Receptionist was not trying to work with me and stated that I either needed to pay the fee or lose my class. They need to make their policies much clearer. Very disappointed in their service.

Ena's is a quality driving school. However, like most institutions, Ena does have it's flaws. In an effort to not repeat many of the stated comments, here is a small breakdown of what you may expect: Pros: 1. Professionalism (i.e: reminders from the receptionist 24 hours in advance and day of your lesson) 2. All-in-one packages (competitive package deals) Cons: 1. Instructor Inconsistency (the school should have a rubric for instructors on how to teach students especially when students do not have the same instructor leading up their road test) 2. 45-minute lessons (other schools offer 60 minute lessons) Lastly, just want to say a huge thanks to Ray. Super knowledgeable and patient driving instructor!

I was this place today (3/10/18 @3pm) for my wife's driving licence. When I entered into this place, I saw some students taking driving class. A lady at the reception on right hand side was talking on the phone. I was standing in front of her about 5 minutes trying to get her attention. She doesn't even look at me, I felt I was unwanted and left this place.

First I'd like to thank the teacher of the 5hrs class he opened my eyes, mind letting me know that failure is an option when you obey instructions. The instructor that gave me the 2 lessons, he says he is going give me all the main pointers in the 2 lessons. After the 2nd lesson, he said you are ready, just relax and concentrate you are going to pass. The instructor that took me to the test he told me about the car and the area and to be patient and relax. The staff on the floor were very informative and helpful. I took a CDL training course and I was very happy with the results. I took the five hour package plus two extra one our classes and I was able to pass my B Class CDL. The instructor was honest, easy going, and an expert at his job. He was very thourough when it came to the right information needed to pass the road test. The equipment at the school was in good shape and newer than the other schools in the area. The office staff was honest and I never felt pressured into paying for unnecessary lessons. Overall I would say this was an A+ experience. EL from Queens~~~

This Place EXCELLENT!!!! From the pretty receptionist.... To Ravi The 5hr Instructor... Cool As Ever.... He made the 5hr Class a Breeze... He hit all the points that showed me things I didn't even know about driving.... Ravi knew exactly what he was talking about that made the class not boring at all... I didn't even had to wait that long to get my appoitment for the road test... Went to take My Test Today 3/21/13.... With Instrustor Darnell.... That man.... ohhhh..... Man.... I signed my sister up for classes at Ena's and it was one headache after another. I will say she didn't mind the instructors so my review is more about the office staff. They were always pleasant (I give them that) but their record keeping seems to be nonexistant. They can never keep straight what was paid. Keep ALL receipts when dealing with them. Every time we booked a class they would tell us there was a balance due, when there was none. It was just frustration dealing with them. We rescheduled one class and paid a fee for that. Then another time an instructor went to the wrong pickup location and they wanted to have her take the train to meet him. Excuse me? Not happening! So that lesson was rescheduled but they wanted to charge a fee for that. I'm not paying for your mistake. What upset me is the lady had nerve to say she's waiving a fee because she didn't want to argue when in actually there should be no fee to begin with. You're not doing me a favor ma'am. And everytime she called to make an appointment we have to explain the situation over and over as to what fee was paid and what was "waived".

I found Ena's Driving School to be professional and very helpful in me learning how to drive. I took 10 lessons and I passed my road test on the first attempt. I highly recommend this place. The staff was very nice. However, I did not even get to start my first driving lesson because "Oscar", a very unprofessional driving instructor, was 2 hours late for my lesson. In addition to his inappropriate late behavior, he did not attempt to call and explain he was going to be late. More so, I contacted the office and the kind representative explained to me he refused to call me. This driving instructor was extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend for anyone to have Oscar as a driving instructor. He does not have respect for any individuals time and refused to call and apologize for his lackadaisical, insolent tardiness.

everything here is ok, except the part where they schedule your road test! i went in on september 13 to take my 5 hour class and the lady there had told me that my road test will be on the first week of november, when i went into the office to check up on my schedule they told me that my road test was scheduled for december 1... so if you guys are planning on going, make sure you guys get an exact day and a confirmation from someone so that you dont get screwed over.

Advice: when schedule your driving class, make sure the receptionists enter into the system the date and time you want to take the class, not the time they want you to be there. Because of some reason, they do not want to give you a choice.

When I met Sabrina, I could tell already that she is going to be a good instructor. She is very sweet, kind and extremely patient. When I made mistakes or sped too fast, she'd tell me to slow down and what I should do to fix my mistakes. She gives you important and easy techniques to use while parking and doing a broken down u-turn. She always had a positive attitude about everything and I was very comfortable with her. I took my road test with confidence and I passed! I guarantee you, there is not going to be another instructor like Sabrina. She is beyond helpful, amazing and informative! Definitely take her!!

I am frustrated as hell with these people. I don't know where they pick up these instructors from, but they are UNPROFESSIONAL. 3 TIMES I've had to reschedule lessons because some of the instructors didn't feel like coming into work. I get that life happens, but it's shady as hell when even Ena's can't get in contact with them. My road test is coming up soon and I just want to get my last lesson in, but these people make it difficult as hell.

This school has great instructors. It was mainly Keren Espinoza who was my instructor. I took lessons for just less than two months with her but that was more than enough time because she was so helpful. She made it simple, gave tips, is such a nice, funny person and can work with you on getting a time and date for any lesson. She made it fun and gave it a relaxed environment. Passed my road test on my first attempt after just six weeks of lessons. She's a highly recommended instructor and this is a highly recommended school. They have a great staff who will work with you to get everything that you need to get done completed.

Bad driving school they do not know how to accommodate you i would not recommend this driving school to no one.. The people there are so nasty first of all. They will set you up for a driving lessons and then call you a day before saying oh the driving instructor didn't show up or didnt come in today so they want to reschedule you. They did this to me for the pass two weeks. What you don't have enough driving Instructors or something that must be the case. Hire more driving instructors and be polite and cordial to your customers And you will have a good service.

The woman working the front desk hung up on me three times today. I was not able to make it to my five hour lesson and needed to reschedule. She was also yelling at me while answering my questions about the driving school a week before. The driving teachers here are great (mostly John and Dean) but customer service as a whole is just awful. Driving is a sensitive topic and skill for people so courtesy would go a long way especially in Queens New York.

As a flight attendant I don't have a lot of time expecially when I'm home in NYC. Two yes 2! Lessons is all I had with the wonderful lady only hours before I went for the road test. She said to me "you will have 10 points for your turns". The examiner gave me 10 points for exactly that.( if I had more time to perfect my turns I would not have gotten any points, but I was on a time crunch). This lady right here knows what she is doing!. I would recommend her in a heartbeat, with my eyes closed to anyone wanting to learn to drive correctly. Simply the Best!! Hands down. I passed my road test on the first try thanks to Vishnu, he is the best instructor by far. He got me, a first time driver, a true begginer to pass my road test on my first try. The way he teaches you how to parallel park, you will be perfect every time if you follow his step by step instructions. He is very professional and a great teacher. He got me to be very confident about driving and like I said I never drove before and I am now a licensed driver. I did 10 lessons and that was all that was needed because I had the best instructor ever. I recommend him to everyone I know that is trying to get their license. Ie've been taking driving lessons since I first got my permit in 2012 with other schools - first in my hometown Brooklyn- then in Maryland and DC while I was studying in college. Enas is the first school I've attended that has a proven system that works. The staff are on their jobs- they send out text reminders and they remember you by name. I worked with Darnell for all lessons and he was very patient and mellow. I've had instructors in the past at other schools that were demanding and nerve wrecking while in the car. Darnell was the exact opposite and I was able to relax. I passed my road test the first try. By the way I moved to Jersey and have been traveling all the way from Irvington, NJ on the Path train just to make it to ENAS and it's worth it. No more public transportation for me. The price was also very right.

Can't be trusted!!! Bad place to come for your CDL There is a special interest between this school (Enas) and the dmv examiners; the agents are friends instead of associates: my examiner, #830, was distracting and ranting while I was driving. She said herself that she is there to give me directions on where to go with the truck. My examiner (#830) was ranting, making negative body jesters to the extreme, sucking her teeth and running her mouth; calling out my mistakes before I had the chance to make them: just before I could call out my road hazards she yelling them out before me! This examiner gives unnecessary pressure in the truck with distractive gestures while having to deal with stress and hazards outside the truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I failed because of her purposely distracting the test, now I have to give the school MORE money; I have spent a total of $2480 plus transportation and permit renewal. I'm suing the dmv for this. The school themselves knew the woman that was hazardous to my driving a concentration in the cab of the truck. I got in contact with CRST trucking company, and it's 300,000x's better than Enas and Pherrari put together!!! They pay for your travel to Iowa, they pay for your motel stay, pay for your food and the amount of time it would properly take for you to learn to operate the truck, maneuver the truck, understand the D.O.T regulations and laws which is a month. They are extremely passionate about your education in molding you into a safe, confident truck driver. They are extremely methodical in teaching you! These mama-papa truck driving schools such as Enas and Pherrari, only cares about their credit and money accumulated, all they care about at the end of the day is getting paid!!! If truck driving is what you want to do and you want to properly learn how to be a professional truck driver, it is my personal guarantee as a student of CRST, you have a 95-97% chance of passing the test and becoming a safe, professional truck driver. CRST's students and employees has the lowest accident rate in the country! After you get your CDL you work for them for 10 months, you work with a teammate, a lead driver that coaches you as you drive, they team you up with someone that lives close to your home town so you can bring the truck home with you, this way you can pick each other up, whoever is left with the truck. They have a purchase program where you can choose to buy your own truck through the company

I passed my road test yesterday on the first try at Cunningham Park. Dean who dropped me to the site with two other people was very pleasant to be around. He explained the site to us and calmed our nerves with his fun going personality. I have used both locations (Hollis and Richmond Hill), but I will just focus on this one just for the review. What I like about this location was that I never had an issue with them picking me up since I did not live that far from the school. I also had the opportunity to work with different drivers of varying quality (which has its good and bad). My favorite was Sabrina because she was very kind and challenged me more than the others. She knew that I was a nervous driver, but took me out of my comfort zone. Too bad she was really in demand and was juggling the Brooklyn location with this one also. Darnell was very patient and laid back. He showed me how to let the car roll while trying to stay in my lane. He helped a lot with getting a feel of the car, However, I feel like his style was for someone just starting out or who knew how to drive already, not for someone trying to prepare for a road test though. John was very good and my second favorite. He always reminded me of the rules of the road. He also taught me how to scan ahead and look where I wanted to go to stay in my lane and to be focused. I had Edwin for my final lesson. He was ok, but I just did not care for his method of steering. The only thing I did not like was classes filling quickly or sometimes lessons getting canceled last minute and not being informed about the driver of my choice not teaching for the day I scheduled and getting someone else.

Nick in particular taught me the best parking Manoeuvre yet!! If it were not for the instructors this place would bomb wholly. Administration is utterly incompetent. They say they are going to call me back but do not, they have attempted to make me reschedule to cover up a scheduling mistake made on their behalf, and I just cannot see that they care for the clients. I paid for a package for my sister and after many unnecessary phone calls and repeatedly confirming that my payment was received they wanted her to pay yet again for the 5-hour class. They even called her cellphone and confirmed with her that the class was paid for and she was signed up. I had to sign my sisters name up at least three times just for them to ask her for more money and tell her that her name was not in their system. What am I supposed to do with that? When I asked for a refund they did not even ask if there was anything they could do to fix it or even apologize. They just said "okay, you'll have to call PayPal". I do not have time for this. I do not think anyone else has time for this nonsense either.

I have to say that this driving school not only has good prices but great instructors as well. I'm only less then halfway through my 10 courses and Sabrina has already given me the confidence i need to pass the drivers test. I highly recommend her to anyone who is completely new to driving. Very good service here. I learned a lot of information about how to drive and what to expect when driving in the 5 hour class. The driving instructors—Dylan and Jose—are very nice and respectful. They let you know what mistakes you make during the driving lessons and actually help you correct your mistakes. Thanks to them, I passed my road test with no redos. The driving school even allowed me to pay the package little by little which really helped a lot. Plus, I love that this driving school is open 7 days a week because i was able to have driving lessons on the weekend and during the week after school. I really recommend anyone who is trying to learn how to drive to go to Ena’s Driving School.

I want my money back I paid for ten lessons its almost been a month and I only had 3 classes whenever I called the can never work with my schedule and the lady had a crazy attitude she did not care about me receiving my lessons they told me call a week in advance to schedule and I did and they still did could not schedule my lessons. My driver Edwin was amazing he is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars if it was up to me they would not receive any stars. Customer service is horrible that lady got me so upset after a long day of work she spoiled my day with her dirty attitude and putting me on hold for more than 10 minutes and she hung up and I had to call back.

Save your money the most unprofessional place to take a road test the receptionist ( Idian lady) is so rude and nasty. The owner doesn’t help and blushes you off. They repeatedly cancel my rides. I travel from Manhattan over here plenty of times and had the same problem. On the day of my road test I was told I would get a lesson prior to my road test and it was cancel after waiting two hours for my road test intructor they told me he couldn’t make it. I’m telling you save your money this place is horrible. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Additional to the lying response they wrote below I confirm prior to my road. The manager told me that the intructor was running late that’s why they cancelled. Appreciate if you guys tell the truth and stop lying to the world. How your company including yourself handle the situation was unprofessional, after waiting two and still didn’t get my road test they promise to book me in with the next intructor but once again they lie a new student walked in and was able to book that available intructor. Now you mentioned that I didn’t confirm my appointment which is another lie because I showed you and your receptionist the calls I made to the school cancelling and the call I had with my intructor I even called the intructor so they can be aware I had and conversation with him confirming I was cancelling. Your company is just unorganized and unprofessional so just own it. Good day!

I took my road test for the second time today and I passed! I highly recommend Ena's Driving School. Scheduling all ten of my lessons was very easy, and they called the day before my lesson every time to remind me, which was very helpful. The lessons themselves were great. I had a solid understanding of what I needed to do to be able to pass the test this time around, and I was able to improve on and fix the problems I had the first time. My instructor, Kern, made me feel at ease all the time. He was strict and made sure to sternly point out things that I was doing poorly, but the rest of the time he was funny and easy to talk to. I'm really glad that I decided to try again and to take lessons at Ena's this time around.

The workers (at the desk) here are very unorganized. when you get information from one of them, the other will tell you something completely different. They suck when it comes to communication! They scheduled my road test and told me the same day I had my 5 hour class; but I could not do that day. The lady agreed that she would change it and even asked me what day works for me and said the other day I decided on was all set. Weeks later they still did not change it and basically told me they can't help me even though I said I don't mind a later date. I eventually had to leave the school for more reasons... I would not recommend this driving school at all. The management and receptionist make it hard for the drivers to do their best.

I had three driver from ena driver school . One was a guy one who had a bad attitude , a female who was ok but slow and late and another female who was honestly the BEST . The best thing that ever happen to Ena driver school . She thought me how to park at least 4 times in one lesson . Not only that she gave me a note to remember how to parallel park. Before her I used to wait a long time for my instructor to come , just to have a short lesson (30min) but Sabrina was here before time and gave me my whole 45 minutes . Now I feel like I can pass my test . Sabrina is so nice and friendly , made me feel very comfortable in the car . It's like I knew her for more than 45 minutes .Wish I had her since day 1 but better late than never . BOOK SABRINA

Well I was supposed to start today. The guy calls me at 8:08 am. I told him I will be out in 5-10 mins, he said it's coming out your time. I told him "your late yourself", he says ok you have 8 extra mins. It's ok for them to be late and not me. Any who, they lost out on $355. Thanks for saving me my money. My previous instructor from another location was super inappropriate and unprofessional; so I was a bit apprehensive about taking another lesson. Too good to be true that's for sure! Definitely a money grabber I took 10 lessons with Sabrina and felt she is not as professional as she everyone says and did not get my road test or 5 hr class! Nor do I have the necessary information to pass the road test!Highly advise those to go with another instructor she advertises under the company but works indepently I wish I was warned before I spent over 300 bucks!
